when applying for a head of house, your character must have been from that house when they were in hogwarts. for instance, if your character was a slytherin when in school, they cannot be the gryffindor head of house. heads of house must be at least 21 years of age.

prefects

head boy & girl
you do not have to be a prefect to be a head boy or girl. however, you must be a seventh year student. head boys/girls are chosen because of their academic achievement, outstanding reputation as a student, and an honest, good, and hard-working personality. head boys and girls are in charge of the students in their houses and the prefects.
