LAKE

@α Min Yoongi I admit, this is way more beautiful and peaceful. I would choose a lake over a pool any day...but sometimes the lakes scare me. I mean, who knows what is at the bottom? /glances at his hand for a moment before timidly taking it, body shaking a bit from nervousness/

spent my fair share of time in chlorinated water.
that's something i love about lakes around these parts....no chlorine, no screaming kids or lifeguards or overpowering scents like sunscreen.
/lets out a small, happy sigh
much easier to learn out here trust me, this is how i learned too.
less distractions, more room.

@α Min Yoongi I...don't think I would try to swim by myself. Especially in something other than a pool, honestly. /my orbs widen slightly at the offer before I bob my head up and down once/ Sure, that would be great. I just hope I'm even able to be taught.../admits shyly, my grip still on the water's edge/

it's always better to have someone else to swim with. more fun, probably safer as well.

@α Min Yoongi Then why didn't you do it then? /tilts my head to the side in question while humming/ Um...I can't swim that well, but I can try and stay near the edge. /says as I glance down at the water, stripping down with a small blush and then hops in, clinging to the side, gasping at the initial chill/

Thin fingers brushed against denim as they trembled against long sides. Cursing at the show of his nerves, the tall beta shook his cold hands before cupping them around his mouth while yelling for the missing pup, “Haneul!” Once finding out one of the younglings had not return home, Minho had made it his personal mission to help find the small child. With just the last place Haneul had been seen, the brunette found himself walking along the lake.

Though Minho was not one to let his mind wander for too long, he couldn’t help but shift his glance towards the water every now and then in distraught of the many scenarios replaying within his head of what could have happened. “Don’t think about it,” he mumbled, trying to steer himself away from the negative. “Haneul is very bright and would not go near the water.” Stomach dropping with just another glance towards the darkened liquid, the male decided to end his pep talk.

It was the soft crinkling of overgrown grass that had his attention swaying to the trees behind him. “Haneul? Is that you?”

every time i walk by here i am so tempted to jump in-
/flops into the water on my back, kicking to keep myself afloat
you comin' in? it's nice once you get past the....uh, shock of how cold it is.

@α Min Yoongi /lifts my head up when I hear footsteps and then yelling, getting startled a bit/ Y-yah! /squeaks out as I look over at the other/ Um...That's one way to make an entrance...

@α Min Yoongi /plops down near the lake's edge as I wait for the other male to arrive, staring over the edge and peers into the clear blue water with a soft smile on my face/

@Jung Jaehyun Frustrated, discouraged, embarrassed, Chanyeol was a rather vain Alpha; though he didn't care how he looked, given his curly, disheveled hairdo, he cared that he appeared /dumb/ in front of his students, the impressionable young pups. He didn't want to be known as the one who couldn't understand basic human knowledge; he might as well be a caveman for all the respect he'd get then! "But I don't write well!" He propped himself up on his left elbow and pouted up at the omega. "My letters don't look like letters and my spelling is atrocious-- not to mention my limited vocabulary." His defeated gaze fell to the fire and he just stared onward. "Yeah. How to human. and..." He blushed hard and bit his lower lip while turning away. "what the hell is a smart phone?"

@α Park Chanyeol Sometimes he wondered how he had become friends with the giant in front of him, and how the other hadn't managed to get killed by him just yet, but then he remembered that he had swore an oath so that was probably the reason why. "You always worry and I always tell you that your writing is decent but you never listen to a word I say. It makes me wonder why you have such big ears when the words go in one and then come out the other" Jaehyun retorted, with no bite behind his words and the knowing that the alpha knew he was just poking fun at him as usual. Upon the end of the whining of the other, the omega merely raised an eyebrow before lightly kicking at Chanyeol with one foot. "Chanyeol....one you're not old, you make it sound like you're an ancient being or something. and two, I'm not surprised you don't understand as you still like to hang out in these type of shelters and haven't had much interaction with the youngsters who like to get into trouble constantly. I'm assuming you're asking me for help on how to adapt to the human's and understand their culture?" he questioned as he walked around the fire slowly before he seated himself on the ground with a little huff, eyes watching the alpha on the ground with the beginnings of a small smile on his lips.

@Jung Jaehyun Hearing the familiar voice and catching a friendly scent, Chanyeol rose to his feet to greet the pack Elder, or at least /one/ of them. Jaehyun's coat was lighter than his, in wolf form; his human hair was currently a honey-tinged brown, reminiscent of the crisping fall leaves. He sighed in relief and crossed his arms over his chest in a gesture of peace and greeting. "You could read it? Good, I worried." He wrung his hands and made himself comfortable by the roaring fire in the stone circle. "I'm old," he mourned aloud, looking to the other for an honest reaction. There was merely silence. "I said," he repeated. "I'm old. These young wolves are speaking to me in another language! Oh, Jaehyun.." He almost wailed in a forlorn howl, but refrained and simply sprawled out on the dirt. "I'll never keep up with humans at this rate. I need your help." He uncovered one eye and looked at him again the judge his reaction.

@α Park Chanyeol With a little groan and a slight massage to his neck, Jaehyun had walked into the healer's hut only for his eyes to zero in on a piece of paper that definitely wasn't there this morning. He quickly headed over to his desk to check out what it was before he snorted softly in amusement upon reading the little memo, wondering why the elder was being so formal in the note. His friend certainly was an oddball at times, he had to give him that as he shrugged off his healer's robe to replace it with a warm coat. Being down at the lake usually meant becoming an ice pop, which would only cause problems for him so it was better to be safe than sorry. Jaehyun took his time going down to the lake, knowing Chanyeol was generally really patient and it didn't seem like the matter was urgent. It was about a couple of minutes later when the omega finally reached the designated area, only to chuckle softly at the sight of the primitive looking thing as he got closer and knocked his knuckles against the shelter. "Chanyeol? I've come after reading your note. What is it that you need my guidance and assistance with, oh wonderful alpha?"

@Jung Jaehyun "Jaehyun," the note read. "I seek your guidance and assistance. I've made a comfortable shelter near the lake, and request your presence at your nearest convenience. -Chanyeol." The alpha scribbled carefully on the small square of paper, hoping that his letters weren't backward or jumbled, and that the message was legible. His friend was smart, but he probably wasn't fluent in chicken scratch. With high hopes, the gentle giant left the letter sitting on the corner of a desk, the thick wood table that served as his friend's study area. After leaving the memo, he proceeded to his primitive hide-out near the falls; if Jaehyun didn't show up, he wouldn't be offended nor surprised, but he waited vigilantly, anyhow.

/wakes up, feeling that his paw got better, he runs to the main hut./

/falls down at the edge of the lake, glancing at his injury/ Oh no.. It's swollen.. /;ays down/ I swear I'll break that wall Oh Sehun! /turns into a wolf and makes sure to heat himself, he eventually falls asleep./
