@stephen. She wasn't entirely sure in any sense as to just what she was feeling. The break was nice but it was hard to deny that she didn't want to spend any more time around him than necessary. Unfortunately, it didn't seem as though she would have the opportunity to rid herself of him anytime soon. Her professional smile was out now, surprisingly warm despite how cold she usually felt inside when she had to use it. It was interesting how it was reversed when she was out playing in the Gotham night scene, tweaking havoc with a cold smile while feeling warm on the inside.

"All right then. I guess until you've gotten your desk set up and ready to go, you can camp out at mine," Ailee eventually replied, leading back to her desk. "You can go ahead and take a seat. I'll fetch an extra seat," she stated, heels making a very light clacking sound against the floor as she walked. Soon enough, the blonde was back, rolling up in a desk chair to her desk. She began to go through explaining what their process was. "The desk at the back of the office is where we send all calls for a survey. We don't have to manually don't though like we did at one point. I haven't even been here that long but it's been long enough to experience it," she shuddered at the memory before shaking her head a little before focusing again, explaining a bit more about how they handled calls from potential clients and customers.

@ailee. His eyebrow cocked at the female's innate allure, somewhat getting an inkling that he had seen her before elsewhere; but, he was quick to discard of his inessential curiosity considering the fact he had crossed paths with women more than the count of his hair strands. It may have just been a brief moment of familiarity. Something about office women rallying to his tattoo parlor late at night, drunkenly requesting for permanent sketches on their skin. After being welcomed and introduced to their workplace, he could only symphatize with them— the place looked like hell albeit too calm for a chaotic place, it was a bit too dull and suffocating for his nerves.

Upon her question, he nodded a bit to portray mediocre enthusiasm before answering, "I belong in this department. As I am a bit lacking, I believe they have entrusted me to your care so I guess I'd be needing an orientation and guidance at most for the whole day. I hope you don't mind the intrusion on your schedule." Luckily, he had a bit of a talk with his client and they gave him a folder of what to do and what not to do in the office before he entered, but it certainly didn't hurt to add a bit more knowledge in the presence of an expert. Maybe the newfound information would even help him fasten the process of his mission. It had only been an hour but he was already feeling tired of the sedentary atmosphere.

@stephen. Tucking a blonde strand behind her ear, her eyes met the face of the new employee. There was a high chance the other didn't recognize her, not without the usual get-up she donned when working after hours. Ailee couldn't deny that she recognized his face, and well. She didn't let it show on her features, not going to let his presence agitate her during her day job as well.

"Ailee," she eventually introduced herself before gesturing for him to follow as she began leading him around. Their floor was more like a call center, at least where she worked. There was a small group from the advertising department with a few members of the marketing team that had a hub on their floor, mainly for survey purposes. Overall, it was a quiet area, less cluttered than the stereotypical call center. There were a few cubicles that lined down the center of the office space with personal offices along the walls.

"Is this the department where you've been told you'd be working or am I just giving you a rundown of where things are," she asked and turned to face him, pausing as she realized now she hadn't caught his name. She was aware that there was a chance she had brushed it off as well if he had said it before.

@ailee. Stephen held an empty grin on his lips to which the welcoming committee readily believed. In fact, one even commented that he held a 'handsome' smile— that almost made him growled in distaste but fortunately he managed to bit back his tongue. They soon dissipated to each of their offices after he had been escorted to the reception area. His face remained a light air as he patiently waited for the woman who would supposedly be his mentor for the current time being. Running his finger through the ebony strands he possessed, he managed to attract a few onlookers albeit he brushed the hungry gazes off.

@stephen. Ailee had her hair platinum locks tied up in a tight bun, attire clean and pressed, despite her comfort. She had to look the part of a Wayne Corp. employee, didn't she? With a sigh, she was checking the time and her office phone for a call from reception. She had been informed the day before that she would be showing a new employee around and pretty much just giving them a bit of training. Seemed simple enough and Ailee couldn't deny that it would be a great break from staring at her computer and speaking to consumers and clients. Not to mention, it would help to clear her thoughts from the recent run-ins she'd had with her "other work," to out it simply.

The instant her phone rang, she answered it, thankful it was the reception desk for their floor. She adjusted her pencil skirt and headed to the front desk to greet the new addition to the team.
