@chris bang ᵃ there was a gentle buzzing in his head and so as fading music— was it ballad or pop, he was far gone to comprehend but the dull lilt was pleasant, beating along with the thrumming of his heart beat. dimly light bar lights painting the red walls something bright but not enough to hurt his eyes. on the contrary they were soothing surprisingly. he sighed. shagged shoulders and somewhat managed to get his phone out from inside his blazer's inside pocket. droopy eyes blinked. rapidly so. gradually the blurred vision cleared up enough for him to see the digital letters over the brightness of his screen — he made a mental note to use night vision, though, iinebriated, he forgot such thing was nonexistent. "Chan!chan!chan!ch-- hyung!" his eyes lit up as if they weren't dead a second ago. he pressed the screen to his ears, hummed incoherent strings of syllables while the connection got through and the familiar caller tune played along. he prayed the person on the other side wasn't asleep. hopefully not. before the tune died and the anticipated greeting exchanged, he blurted. his voice laced with the lyrical lilt of a wasted being. "I'mmmm lonely.. lo-lo-lonely at the bar." did he received few incredulous stares? yes. but he could care less.
