@s. nilung ᵖʳᶦⁿᶜᵉˢˢ ᵇᵘᵇᵇˡᵉᵍᵘᵐ katsuki is not the world's most patient person, as the world already knows. or perhaps not, but with how popular seulgi is, he'd think that most people would recognize hi—, her—which is why he's been told to wear something to cover his face. half of his face is covered by a white mask, a beanie on his hair, while he's dressed appropriately for the season. he doesn't know whether he should be glad that this one annoying girl doesn't recognize who he is just yet or not. would knowing who he is stop her from trying to bother him even further? hands in the pockets of his jeans—he'd have worn baggy pants but they said that and gave him a pair of tight jeans instead—he's determined to just continue his mission of ignoring the words of the girl he's just saved /hours/ ago.
ing hours ago. how many people are this stubborn? deku is the most stubborn person he's ever met—this gal is threatening to take the nerd's throne as the number one name in katsuki's list of annoying s. and katsuki hasn't even heard of her name yet, not that he's curious or anything. she's just another pink chick. an annoying pink chick who's not even ashamed of screaming like that in public and chasing after him.
the chick isn't showing any signs of giving up—and katsuki might have commended her determination if not for the fact that it's him she's bothering. okay, now , he doesn't hurt women unless it's absolutely necessary. the villains and round face are an exemption—he's completely justified in fighting them, but this is a civilian he's just saved, and she's already grating on his already short ing temper. her words keep filling his ears, and no matter how much he tries to tune her out, he just ing can't because she's too loud and too persistent and it's annoying the hell out of him.
he lets out an exasperated sigh and stops in his tracks. he turns around to face the smaller girl, eyes narrowed at her visage. "don't you know when to ing take no for an answer?" he growls and he takes his beanie off quickly, running a hand through his long, dark locks and he puts the beanie back again. "listen here. i'm not refusing your gratitude but a ing thank you is enough." accepting the payment will definitely go against his policies, which is never to accept payment from the people he's saved unless it's his salary as a professional hero, even if he's no longer a pro hero in this world. , a man can't change overnight, alright?
he stares at the girl, bemused at the fact that she still looks so goddamn determined and , where does this stubbornness even come from? he sighs once again, pulling his mask further up the bridge of his nose. "fine. fine, i'll go along with this just this one time. the next time you're in danger, don't go to your ing death in front of me," because hell, he's not going to be able to stop his instincts to save her, and even if he does manage not to let his instincts take over, it'll just go against his pride and beliefs in life. .
@k. seulgi ᵇᵃᵏᵘᵍᵒ ᵏᵃᵗˢᵘᵏᶦ there was still so much to learn, so many things hidden in the dullness of this new world, so many dangers unneeded back at home waiting at every corner - she found it out in the worst way possible ; by almost giving herself to one of those metallic vehicles when crossing the street. it wasn't her fault, by far, she decided - after all, who would have thought that those things wouldn't come to a halt upon seeing her hurrying to move forward? there was little consideration for adventurers in this world, it seemed. only thanks to a lucky encounter did the princess find herself safe and untouched but with a goal in her mind.
and that's how she ended up where she was - following a female who's name she did not know, trying to fullfill her own responsibility as a princess and a knight herself and somewhat trying to pay the other back for the little thing that was saving her life mere hours before. there was stubborness written across nilung's features as her feet carried her after the figure of the stranger, voice growing frustrated after countless offers and almost pleas being shouted out, shouted after, knuckles of delicate fingers white as they gripped onto the hem of her sleeves. this much stubborness she only ever saw in the sour expression of earl lemongrab - and she disliked it all the same.
"look, i don't know how it is around here, but where i come from we accept when someone wants to thank us!" there was frustration growing in the voice of the short female as she once again caught up with the taller, a sharp, breathless sigh accompaning the words. it must have looked ridiculous, the way her expression kept changing from stubborness over despair and short enthusiasmus to frustration and back to the same stubborn meaa again, merely because of the lack of agreement between the two females. "i don't even offer that much! it's not polite to just decline the offer of a--- a girl, you know? horrible, even! i don't understand, anyone else would definitely take everything immediately, why cannot you agree to one lf my ideas? utterly unfair."
perhaps she was rambling by then, her words swallowed by short, tired puffs of air - she still was not used to the mildest forms of exercise in this body - feet stomping just a step or two behind her savior once again. perhaps her words would go unheard yet again but she had already decides that giving up was not an option she would consider. pride was not what she was known for and yet there was a certain amount of the royal kind hidden within, one that refused to back down just yet, one that didn't allow her to leave the other without some sort of paiment. it wasn't an option.
