@cindy.k Her words were sudden and he actually jumped alittle but calmed his racing heart down, this was beyond nerve wrecking"uhm...bye" he bowed slightly and made hurry to get away from her as quickly as he could wanting to just stay behind the counter from now on "Tan! Come here, give this to the lobester and salad lady" tan did come over from hearing his name but the rest was a blur to him. Who? What? " otday yego ledi (give it to the lady) " one co-worker yelled out in Russian from across the kitchen and Tan nodded his head and taking the recite from the co-worker and making his way out of the kitchen with a breath caught in his throat fearful to mess up once again but it's his job after all. "A-ah..recite" he placed the paper down lightly on the table clearing his throat awkwardly
@nursultan.a she nodded a bit patronizingly with a half-assed reassuring grin as he questioned her. he felt so helpless, she couldn't help but feel a little pity on him, even if he wasn't doing his job right. cindy watched as he went to refill her drink, crossing her legs and exhaling as she had to wait a little bit longer for her food to arrive. she took the time to observe the crowded restaurant and the outside decor. when the waiter returned, he gave her a weird look as if he were testing her. she just wanted water, she was thirsty, so she maintained the eye contact as she took a sip of her drink. "what are you looking at?" she asked, wondering what he would respond with as she was lightly aware of his speech limitations at this point.
@cindy.k He just stood there, eyes wide and confused as the words slipped by so effortlessly by both of the females that conversed for a few seconds. His attempt at picking up familiar words were futile but it didn't matter anymore, the issue was dealt with accordingly. Tan bowed his head in apologies and was about to dismiss himself when he once again was called upon by the annoyed female who didn't look as annoyed but relieved "w-water?" He said after an intense 30 seconds of staring at the glass she had tapped. Not wanting to further more stir up trouble ,he grabbed the glass and made his was into the kitchen to refil it. Why was he such a clutz? He should study harder to do his job properly or soon he may not have one and the very thought of that instilled unmentionable fright.within the next 2 minutes he had returned with the glass of cold water and rest it carefully infront of her all the while searching her expression of any, discomfort, annoyance,or anger.it felt weird to be on edge but it's what he gets for not understanding.
@nursultan.a for a moment, she could have sworn her waiter said something, but she didn't quite catch it. he began to do weird gestures that had her mind boggled, cindy's eyes fluttered in confusion and frustration. she just wanted to eat, she was hungry. a sigh of relief came as another waiter came by to resolve the conflict. her gaze lingered on the confused foreign boy before looking intently into the new waiter's eyes to explain the situation in vague detail. her plate was immediately dismissed by the waiter and she was to have a new plate as soon as possible. "oh thank goodness," she sighed in relief as the whole thing finally got resolved, except her glass was still empty of water. "hey, you," she addressed the childlike waiter, pointing at her empty glass of water, "can i get more water?" he could probably do this part of the job, she hoped. she was giving him a moment to redeem himself as a server.
[no worries love c: the more replies you do, the more you'll be able to wear the skin of your character. it's okay if your first few replies are sloppy, i love them regardless c:]
@cindy.k His eyes widened little and the more her facial expression grew annoyed the more he starts to panic"what is she saying" he spoke out in Russian and reached up to ruffle his hair"food?" Tan tilts his head as he makes an eating motion with his hand before making an X to represent bad.
As if a saving grace a fellow co-worker came by and raised a questioning eyebrow at the female " excuse me miss..but is there a problem?" Tan sighed ,never been so happy to see a person in his life
@nursultan.a her waiter seemed to be a grown man, but at this very moment, he looked like a lost child, which mildly annoyed cindy because she came here to eat lunch, not be served by a child. cindy blinked her eyes and furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at her waiter with 'what did you just say' eyes. "no-" she was almost as flustered as her waiter in this situation. he was obviously new and she couldn't do anything but sigh. "i came in here to eat, i'm not going to walk out that door without food in my stomach," she articulated with her fingers tapping the table at every syllable, "let me talk to your manager."
@cindy.k "Okay?" His co-worker made the okay symbol to make sure that sultan understood what he was being told but of course,he didn't but he still nodded his head anyway and went about collecting dishes and placing food down. He wasn't used to this busy atmosphere and the amount of work had tired him but when he heard a voice he perked up and made his way over to the clearly less than satisfied Customer. He couldn't understand but her expressions spoke many words"I uhm....kris?" He calls over the only name he knew how to say but the other was long gone and the waiters were busy with many other tasks than to worry about him "u-uhm..r-refund?" He did his best to speak and smile at the same time
()ooof sorry for this bad reply, better ones on my actual phone
@nursultan.a it was twelve o' clock on the dot. crowds of people on their lunch breaks were strolling through the door of the restaurant as the staff seemed to move from table to table at the speed of light. cindy had been sitting down with an empty glass of water for about five minutes now, waiting for her order to arrive. she understood that it was peak, however, it felt as if she were being neglected by the staff as she watched the tables around her fill up with their lunches. but then, finally, there came to be food on her table... just not the right food. "excuse me," cindy pompously addressed the waiter with her hand in the air, "but i ordered the baked lobster with no butter and a salad as substitute for the bread rolls." she raised her eyebrow as she gestured crudely at the plate. "do these bread rolls look like a salad to you?" and then cindy sniffed the lobster with a vulgar expression at the scent of butter on the lobster to further make her point. "and there is butter on the lobster, i specifically asked for there to be no butter on my lobster."
