QUESTIONS: If you have more questions, please tag an admin and post away!
Does age have to do with your year (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior)? Age doesn't relate to what year you are in college - the years in college just have to do with how much college you've completed! Most people start American college at age 18.
- first year of college: you're a freshman and a pledge (first year) (18-19)
- finished one year: sophomore (second year) (19-20)
- finished two years: junior (third year) (20-21)
- finished three years: senior (fourth year) (21-22+)
- finished one year: sophomore (second year) (19-20)
- finished two years: junior (third year) (20-21)
- finished three years: senior (fourth year) (21-22+)
But in American colleges, it doesn't matter how old you are bc sometimes people take off time to start college OR sometimes they start early.
In relation to the President rank, there will be a trial period for those interested in vying to run the fraternities. You must tag an admin and declare your intention to run for President. Be aware that others can run against you. After the trial period, the members of the fraternity will all vote on who they would like to lead them and the majority winner will be promoted to President. Note: 1) The president must be either junior or senior. 2) They must have experience in a previous officer position.
The president runs the frat for 3 months. After the 3 months time is over, an election will happen again to elect new presidents (You may run again).

In relation to the International Relations position, the position is open to multiple members since there can be chapters of the frat in different countries.
What are pledges?
Pledges are any college students (anyone from freshman to junior year!) who decide to join a frat and have no prior history with their frat. This just means that you're new and you're going to have to join the frat via "initiation" - a ceremony or a ritual conducted by current members of the frat. Members will haze pledges as a part of initiation. Freshmen are automatically pledges. PLEDGES CANNOT BE OFFICERS. SENIORS CANNOT BE PLEDGES.
