@(❅) bae joohyun The young werewolf remained silent as the older spoke up, her hues slowly finally turning back to their original chocolate brown color. She let Irene‘s words sink in, realizing that she was right; her brother didn‘t used his full power to hit his sister as she knew very well how it felt to be at the end of it, the prove was forever marred into her skin above her right . How do you plan on protecting your pack when you can't even protect yourself from people like your brothers? Those words echoing over and over in her mind, and she glanced down. Was she really that emotional? No, it was the fault of being in heat too, double enhancing her emotions. But still Seulgi needed to get stronger, to be able to protect herself better and for her future pack.

Realizing that the vampre was long gone, she shook her head and made her way back inside, deciding to get something cold to drink to calm herself down, still smelling the trail of lavender and vanilla hanging in the air.

@(☾) kang seulgi The sound of joints popping back into place didn't phase Irene. She had done her fair share of joints popping by herself to others and herself throughout the years. The vampire watched the other moved with skeptical eyes while listening as well, arms still crossed.

"You know, my old boxing coach said that if you want to become pro, you should get rid of emotions your punches hold. Your brother underestimates you, he didn't see you as a worthy opponent hence the lack of emotions in his punches and it was easy for him to get the upper hand because of that before he let his guard down. You're too emotional, emotions won't do you any good in a real fight." Irene's bronze hues stared right into Seulgi's, her face holding no emotions just like her voice. "You want to be an alpha and have your own pack someday, right? How do you plan on protecting your pack when you can't even protect yourself from people like your brothers?" The vampire let the question hung in the air as she spun around and made her way back inside the building, throwing her wavy locks over her shoulder.

@(❅) bae joohyun Seulgi was breathing heavily, watching as her brother got up as well, rubbing his neck where he could still feel her nails and walked away from her, not sparing his sister a glance. Her eyes still haven‘t gone back to their original color, fuming inside about her brother when Irene spoke up and then she realized it was not just the two of them.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, glancing at the vampire; the sweet scent of vanilla and lavender filling her nostrils. „One of them knows it now and I‘ll take care of the other two later, Bae“,she huffed in return, walking over to where she left her bag, hissing a little at the pain in her slight dislocated shoulder, hearing it crack as she put it back in place. „I.. It‘s not about you being a trophy, he just doesn‘t like it when I snatch something right from under his nose.. or if I‘m better at something while he clearly . And obviously that‘s him lacking in being genuine and
honest.“ The ash blonde grabbed her bag with her other hand, unsure if she should touch on the topic that she possibly imprinted on the other without knowing and intentions. „Look, I‘m sorry that my of a brother dragged your name into our little fight. „But I‘ll make sure he won‘t look or even approach you anymore, Bae.“

@(☾) kang seulgi Both vampires watched the showdown with rapt attention, Irene especially paid more attention to how the two siblings move and stored the information for future use just in case. A lady could never be too careful these days. She was a little taken aback when the older Kang looked her way and she couldn't hold back the disgust on her face when the male threw a wink at her. She could even hear the younger vampire next to her gagged. A big mood.

"Can you believe that??? He still thinks that he has a chance with you. The gayest of the gay. Are all of them this thick headed?" Soojin voiced out her disbelief when their ears caught on the words spilling out of the older Kang's mouth, Irene rolled her eyes so hard that they almost rolled out of their sockets. Fortunately Soojin was smart enough to not comment on Seulgi's words about Irene, the said woman ignoring the glances thrown her way when the crowd finally dispersed and leaving her the only one standing there, looking dismayed.

"Didn't I tell you to make sure that your brothers know that I'm not into dickheads? Why are you two throwing my names around? I'm not a ing trophy that you two can win or like that." Irene fumed, lips curled up into a sneer.

@(❅) bae joohyun The two siblings fought each other, but since both were aware that they were on the school grounds it wasn’t nearly like their fight back home. They barely acknowledged the crowd surrounding them and it looked like the older Kang had the upper hand as he held Seulgi‘s arm behind her back, leaning down with the same cocky grin etched on his face.

„It looks like I win again, dearest sister. You may be able to win against the others but still not me“,he chuckled in amusement, lifting his hues up when he smelled the scent of Irene and winked at the vampire.“Look who‘s here, Seul. Here to watch you losing to me, I think I‘ll try my luck to ask her out again, who knows maybe she will accept this time and I get my chance to touch her delicious curves.“

While her brother was busy with being his cocky self again, he barely noticed how Seulgi‘s dark hues slowly changed to golden brown, her inner wolf fighting to come out but when she spotted Irene in the crowd, she calmed down. In a swift motion, she managed to throw her brother off her back and gripped his throat, her nails almost digging into his skin. „This is why our father is not satisfied with you. Your ego is bigger than your heart“,Seulgi growled lowly down at him, “And you still think with your . So keep your paws off Irene cause she is not interested and you are not worthy to have her.“ She released him with a huff, standing up and dusted her clothes off, reaching up to tie her hair into a messy bun. „The show‘s over, ya creeps!“

@(☾) kang seulgi Another member of the Lilith guild rolled her eyes at the commotion before her but she stood straighter when she heard a familiar name of a fellow vampire, frowning while wondering why the heck these mutts fighting over Irene.

The vampire herself only blinked once when she felt a gust of wind blowing past her and then a familiar face stood next to her with unreadable look on the other's face. Irene looked away from her laptop and arched an eyebrow at the woman. "Can I help you, Soojin?"

"Come with me. Some mutts outside are fighting and I heard your name being thrown around. There's only one Irene in this hellhole."

And that was how Irene found herself in the crowd surrounding the Kang siblings, nose scrunching up in distaste at the smell of the older Kang trying to assert his dominance over his little sister. There was one scent that stood out the most to the vampire, it was Seulgi's scent, a perfect fresh mix of lemon and honey. Crossing her arms across her chest, she watched the siblings with the others and wondered why the hell they were dragging her into the spat.

@(✞) lee taemin The forest seemed like a good idea to Minji, she definitely didn’t want to hurt anyone just yet with her powers being out of control at the moment. The small smile on his lips didn’t go unnoticed but she didn’t pay much mind to it. “Wouldn’t want anyone else to have red hair,” the girl referred to her own mistake – pointing at her head although it was unneeded. Her hair, once black, changed to red the very first time she picked up someone’s wand and gave it a wave out of curiosity. Now, she was stuck with this hair and truth be told, she preferred it. The thought of entering the forest gave her a sudden chill, she’s heard plenty of stories of the creatures that walk there but if Professor Lee decided on the forest then the forest will she head. “Just promise you won’t leave me alone in the forest – dark places scare me a lot,” she admits. It was one of the tortures she had gone through, having being locked up in a room with one measly window that barely gave enough sunlight. Though, she secretly hoped she wouldn’t be practicing her spells on the professor. She was fine with herself getting a few cuts and bruises but she wasn’t so keen on having the man getting any injuries.

Minji starts to pack up her stuff as she listens to Professor Lee’s advice. “Snow?” there’s a glint in her eyes as she hears him mention it. “Ohhh~ That’s going to be pretty,” she speaks to no one in particular, simply speaking her thoughts out loud. She didn’t get to see anything besides the inside of the house growing up so nature truly seemed like magic to her. The man advised her to bundle up from the cold and Minji made a mental note to wear clothes that were both easy to move in and helped in keeping her warm – who knows how many hours they’ll be out. At the mention of winter break, her smile falters. By the looks of his face, she was sure he had known the answer in her silence. “Ah, you’re staying? I guess that’ll give me more time to practice before school starts,” her smile brightens once again at his words. “I hope I won’t be troubling you,” she rubes her nape, “I really do owe you one, Professor Lee.”

Professor Lee’s warning alarmed her but only for slight moment. She hadn’t even known about rivalries between guilds before she stepped into the school. She thanked her new friends for catching up on her with the history but Minji never understood why the rivalry still existed. She brushed it off as her being a newbie to this whole guild and magic thing. “If I survived my family, I’m certain I’ll survive them,” she answers, “I hope we’ll continue to get along, Professor Lee.” She gives a bow to the man before she heads out to the Gethen Guild, stopping in her tracks to give him a wave before she continued walking.

On the way to her Gethen House, Minji couldn’t help but think over the rumors and stories she’s heard from her classmates and other students. The rumors about Professor Lee Taemin all seemed to be so horrifying and terrifying. Rumors mixed in with truths and lies – she wasn’t sure what to believe. So, she stood firm on her own beliefs – she believed that the man in front of her was evil as he was told to be but at the same time, she believed he had some sort kindness in him. “Twisted perhaps but he’s someone you can trust, Jiu,” she mutters to herself. No matter what the others would say to her, she truly believed that Professor Lee was helping her – he was the first person to ever showed that he cared about her and whether or not it was all just some lie, she would continue to believe that there was no ill intention. The girl went through her suitcase and put on something she saw suitable for practice. She took out her wand and pretended to cast a spell just to see how easy she could move. Unfortunately, even touching her wand seemed to be needing work as she sent her books flying from the table and onto the floor. “Jiu!” she heard someone yell. “Sorry!” she yelled back, quickly placing the books back on the table. The girl tucked her wand into her pocket, deciding it was unsafe to be holding it around before rushing off to the front entrance.

@(✵) kim minji “We will go out to the forest when we’re done here, it’s the best place for uncontrolled magic. That way we don’t accidentally set fire to any buildings, or banish someone into the void, or Lucifer knows what else could go wrong,” Taemin said, his lips quirking into a small smile. It would be so much more fun if they could practice in the court yard, it would be more of a show too, but he didn’t think the headmaster would appreciate him deliberately putting student lives in danger and he was already walking on thin ice with the man was it was. No, the forest was the best place for Minji to practice. It wouldn’t be dangerous for her as long as she was with Taemin, he was far more terrifying than any night creature that skulked around in those trees. Though if one did stumble upon them it would be an excellent learning opportunity. There was no better teacher than experience after all. He could probably summon a lesser demon from the void if need be, give her something to spar against because he could already guess she would have reservations about aiming spells at him. A sweet, but ultimately useless sentiment.

“I can meet you at the front entrance, make sure you bundle up it is rather cold outside and it’s supposed to snow if it isn’t already,” he warned, he didn’t want her ending up sick as a result of their impromptu training sessions. That wouldn’t do her academic performance any favors. Though he was sure he could persuade her teachers to overlook a few absences if need be, he was not above threatening his fellow faculty members, he wasn’t above threatening anyone as a matter of fact. Except the headmaster, he wasn’t too keen on threatening the headmaster just yet. “Will you be staying here for the winter break?” He asked, though he already knew the answer. He very much doubted she was welcome home. “I will be here over the winter break, so if you want extra help or extra practice time you can always come find me. The Alvah House will be mostly empty, I have a few miserable little insects staying behind but thankfully most of them are leaving.”

The winter break was probably his favorite, the world was cold and quiet and he could actually enjoy a few moments of his dreadfully dull existence. Being a teacher was hardly a life dream, and as soon as he had served his time he was leaving. Though, he imagined his freedom would be short lived. Neither his hunger nor his temper had lessened any in his time at the academy so far, and he knew the moment he was free he would kill again and he would enjoy every blissful second. “I don’t celebrate Christmas, for obvious reasons, but if you find yourself alone and you want company you have my permission to come to Alvah House as often as you like. I can have an extra bed made up for you if you want it. Granted you’ll be playing with fire if you step foot inside, though I’m of the opinion you should choose your allies as wisely as you choose your enemies. I’m fairly neural with the Gethen Guild, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. There just might be certain people with certain opinions you should be prepared for. Though, those opinions will circulate anyway since you are sitting here having lunch with me, terribly scandalous you know,” he commented, a momentary amusement flickering in his eyes. He knew his reputation well, and he also knew he had earned it. He’d lost count of the number of students he’d slept with, it was entertaining to watch them learn the art of seduction and manipulation. It was one of the reasons he was so popular with the demons as well as the fallen.

@(❅) bae joohyun Once Seulgi was outside, she took a few deep breaths, managing to calm herself down a bit and to process the realization that hit her hard, her imprint on Irene Bae, a vampire, a god-damn bloodsucker, a .. beauty. She dropped her bag on an empty bench, pacing back and forth till a voice made her stop in her tracks. „What kind of flea got into your fur, sis?“, it was one of her brothers, a cocky grin on his lips and she groaned in return.

„Oh for sake not now..“,Seulgi growled lowly, glaring at her brother. He let out a snort, eyeing his baby sister with a glint in his hues. „Dearest sis, I think I know. I mean I heared about your little study session with a certain hot vampire. And I can‘t blame you at all, Irene has a hot body and I‘m sure she is feisty in bed as well- .“ He didn‘t continue because Seulgi let out a snarl and jumped at him, baring her pointy fangs at him. „Don‘t you talk about her like that!“, she growled angrily causing a few students nearby to witness the siblings fight. „Just because we are related by blood doesn‘t mean I can‘t rip your heart out!“

@(✞) lee taemin The professor’s words stung her – she always knew he was somewhat cold and straight to the point, not taking time or effort to sugar coat his words. She imagined how the other students would react to such a manner of speech but if you compared the words spoken to her by her family and the professor – she would choose the professor’s words over theirs any time of day. Minji takes another bite before sipping her own tea, her eyes glued to the man as he continued to speak about her. His words left her feeling a bit worse than before until she remembered that what he was saying was true – she was lacking in some departments mainly being confident. She was a bit touched to see him say that she had a chance at becoming just as skilled as the other students – the smile on her face showed it all.

Minji knew well enough as to why she was both too nice and too willing to apologize. Years of being kept hidden and ridiculed made her feel like her very existence was a fault so in a way to make up for her ‘accidental existence’, she found herself bending over backwards to satisfy others. The girl wiped off with a tissue once the last of her sandwich was finished. Her ears perked up hearing his suggestion before she started nodding her head. “I have nothing planned anyways. Thank you, Professor,” her face was glowing with thankfulness to the man. Honestly, she would be completely lost if he wasn’t around to help her. She needed to think of a way to repay him but that would come on another day.

She fought back a snort when she heard his statement. Of course, she knew the whispers of students whenever he passed by. Professor Lee’s presence was utterly difficult to ignore seeing how even now she could catch a few students taking one glance and him before speeding away – not wanting to be anywhere near him for long. To the other students, he seemed to be someone they rather avoid as long as they were able to. To the red head, however, the professor was her only companion that she trusted – she’s heard the stories about him but paid no mind. “Well then, I’ll be in your care,” she took another sip of her tea, smiling when she saw his face scrunch up just for a minute – guess he wasn’t fond of cucumbers. For a moment, her hand pats down her side; making sure once again that her wand was where it should be. “Where are we heading for our first practice session?”

@(✵) kim minji “Because I’ve lived a hundred life times and met a thousand people just like that, and not a single one of them was worth anything other than the time it took for them to die,” Taemin explained coldly, reaching out to take his cup of tea and taking a small sip. It was some mint flavored non-sense, he hated it, but it was better than nothing so he took another reluctant sip. “The majority of power is confidence. If you have no confidence you have no power,” he said, confidence was something he knew she needed to work on. The set of her shoulders betrayed her lack of self-confidence and it would be obvious to anyone, it was no wonder the other students were cruel to her. If she was falling behind and lacking faith in herself, she was just a walking target.

“You are entirely too nice, and too willing to apologize. You can’t go around asking magic to work for you, you have to tell it it’s going to and then give it no choice. The strength of your will determines the strength of your magic, always keep that in mind. It’s a tool to be used, and one that you have the potential and capability of using. You can be just as good as the other students, better even, once you learn how to have confidence in yourself and exert your will,” he said, reaching out to pick up a piece of the sandwich and take a bite. He’d cleared his schedule for the evening, with it being so close to the holidays he didn’t have much left in the way of classes so he was open to actually start working with her and her magic. “If you’re free after this we can work on spell casting. I can help you go over the basics until you get the hang of it.”

Honestly, he didn’t know why he was going so far out of his way to help her. She was essentially a nobody, her family didn’t care about her, the societal systems knew nothing about her, and she could barely use magic at all. He knew better than to think too far into his own motives though, his mind was a dangerous place even for himself. “Professor Wu is strict yes, but not impossibly so. Not like I am at any rate. I’m by far the strictest teacher you’re ever going to come across at this school, so take what comfort you can from that. If you can survive me you’ll breeze through the rest of your classes,” he assured her, taking another absent bite of his sandwich. There was cucumber in it, he disliked cucumber, but other than that it was tolerable.

@(✞) lee taemin Hearing the professor's words, Minji just nodded her head. "I'm not /too/ nice," she spoke before she thought over his words again. "Am I?" she scratches her head, repeating his last sentence a few times in her head for good measure. The professor spoke again in his usual cold tone, sounding much more annoyed than usual about the food he had ordered for the both of them. "As long as it's edible food - almost anything is better than what I used to eat," she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, finding it annoying as it blocked her view. Any food was better than no food at all and remembering to her younger childhood days, her family would sometimes purposely not feed her - for their own amusement, she assumed. She noticed some students coming in the cafeteria before her attention went back to the professor's question.

"Fine... I think?" She's not sure herself to be honest. "There's been a few bumps and... I don't know, I'm just behind on things that I should be mastering by now. I've seen how the other students look at me - it's not nice." Of course, these worries of her would only be confided to one person and one person only - the man right in front of her. Sure, she might play it off in front of the other students but a chill still runs down her spine when she makes a very rookie mistake. "Ah, Professor Wu," she thinks when she hears the name 'Yifan'. "I've been practicing here and there in the middle of studying. Is Professor Wu really as strict as they say he is?" She's seen the Professor a few times to chalk up that he was uptight but she hadn't been here as long as the others to know for sure. Minji puts her face in her hands, "There's still a lot more I need to learn - no one taught me anything about magic before you came." Which was true, no one took a care about her while she was growing up so she had nearly zero experience when it came to magic.

Hearing footsteps coming near, Minji looks up to see the student carrying the tray of food to their table. The look on the student's face was something Minji wasn't used to seeing - were they really terrified of the professor that much? It seemed as if they face had been drained of color and their eyes were just screaming 'scared'. When the tray was set down, the girl was about to say her thanks when Professor Lee spoke up first. She felt sorry for the student as they ran away from their table. She searched for her pack of tissues in her pockets and wiped down the small spill on the table. "How are you so sure, Professor?" she asked, hearing the last sentence. Her hand reaches out for one of the sandwiches before she takes a bite out of it.

@(☾) kang seulgi The sound of someone bumping against another caught the vampire's attention and she looked up to see ashy blonde locks waving at her as the owner hastily made her way out. Irene frowned, she recognized that scent and wondered why Seulgi was in a hurry before shaking the curiosity off. It was none of her business, her and Seulgi were barely acquaintance, she never accounted the whispers around for mean of knowing somebody. Once Seulgi disappeared from her sight, the brunette could only hope that the youngest Kang was doing okay, even though she felt strongly against Seulgi's kind, the werewolf had never done anything to her unlike her brothers.

@(✵) kim minji Minji was always easy to spot with her bright red hair, it was an aesthetic he didn’t hate but it would have been much prettier if it was just a few shades darker. “Don’t worry about it, I just ordered us lunch so you’re fine,” he said, waving away her concern. He didn’t need excuses, something he drilled into his students constantly. “Don’t apologize for things, and never make excuses. Own every action, whether it’s intentional or not. There are plenty of students here who will happily take advantage of you for being too nice,” he warned her. He could list a couple dozen said students right off the top of his head because he taught every single one of them. He was almost proud of a couple of them, the select few who took his lessons to heart and excelled. “I don’t know what the hell kind of soup they’re serving today, but it’s supposed to be some kind of hot soup and a deli sandwich I guess. I don’t ing care, I ordered two specials.” He was hungry though, annoyingly so now that the he’d actually stopped long enough to think about food.

“How are classes going?” He asked, leaning back against the over-stuffed chair. He hadn’t heard much by way of whispers in the hallway or in the faculty rooms so it was hard for him to judge if she was doing well. If she just wasn’t standing out then they were going to have to fix that. He didn’t put his time or attention into people for no reason, and he wasn’t going to start now. “Yifan and I have something of a… working relationship if you want to call it that. I’m a bit familiar with how his classes are going to work. How is your practical application going? Are you getting enough practice in?” Though Taemin had no ability to use witch magic, he did have his own forms of magic and he knew well enough that the ability to use it all stemmed from essentially the same place it just took different forms when it manifested into the physical world.

He glanced up when the food arrived, not bothering to acknowledge the student carrying it any further. They looked about terrified, it would have been amusing if he was in the mood to care. The tray was set down a little harder than necessary, spilling some of what looked like tea onto the table, and the student was rattling off apologies that Taemin waved away in annoyance. “Get the away from the table before you piss me off,” he suggested, aiming for bored but it ended up sounded a bit too annoyed. It worked though and the student nearly tripped over themselves trying to get back to the kitchen. “You see what I mean? Don’t be the person. They will get nowhere in life.”

@(❅) bae joohyun Thoughts of her wanting to be at that end of the smile made Seulgi sigh and suddenly the possible reason why she was like this hit her hard; she may have imprinted on Irene. The young werewolf suddenly wheezed heavily and stood up from her seat, grabbing her bag as she was in need of fresh air. No, no, no it couldn‘t be. She knew what it meant to imprint one another person: it‘s like an unspoken vow, a bond that would connect each other‘s lives for eternity or till death tore them apart. Seulgi mentally panicked and made her way towards the terrace part of the cafeteria, bumping into one or her classmate just as she passed Irene‘s table, flashing the young male a small smile of apology before continuing her way out.

@(☾) kang seulgi Just when the male student approached Seulgi, a junior approached the vampire. All Seulgi could see once the man had scrambled away was the genuine smile on Irene's face and the other woman's hand resting comfortably on her shoulder, doe eyes following the sway of the younger's hips. Turning her attention back to her laptop, Irene's tiers curled up into a small, crooked smile, browns swirling into red behind the glasses which flickered up and finally locked on Seulgi's dark hues across the cafeteria. The older's eyebrows furrowed and cursed herself for not doing a sweep first but then she actually had no reason to do so, she did nothing wrong and the werewolf had surprisingly kept her distance. With that in mind and as her eyes turning to their normal color, Irene tucked her hair behind her adorable ear and resumed her work, not paying the werewolf any attention.

Seulgi growled lowly, her chocolate brown hues shining in anger at the disturbance and she clenched her teeth a little. „If you don‘t wanna end up with a nasty scar across your pretty face then go“,she lowly snarled at him, not wanting to cause any extra attention and the poor bloke stumbled away in fear. Seulgi took a deep breath to calm herself down, her gaze back on the vampire as she lets out a sigh. Was Irene always this attractive and cute looking?

@(☾) kang seulgi Being over two-century old, Irene had learned to block her enhanced sense of smell and hearing to not overwhelm herself. She learned this the hard way when she first stepped foot on New York City in the nineteenth. That was why she didn't notice the werewolf's scent as she focused on the smell coming from the cafeteria's kitchen with her eyes glued to the screen of her laptop. She paused to put her trademark round glasses and subtly brought the left sleeve of her knitted sweater, taking a sniff at the soothing smell of her fabric softener while scrolling down her report.

The werewolf did kept her distance from .. Ba- the vampire and sometimes, Seulgi wondered if Irene was always like this, so cold and so harsh. @(✞) lee taemin Minji blew a strand of her hair out of her face before glancing at the time - she was going to be late for her meeting with Professor Lee and plus, she was starving. She picked up her books and pat her side, making sure her wand was where she last left it. "I'm heading to the cafeteria," she mentioned to her friends before turning her heels and leaving them, not giving them a chance to ask about her sudden rush. The girl wasn't keen on keeping others waiting for her especially if it was Professor Lee. She gave one last look at the time before quickening her steps to the cafeteria.

Professor Lee was someone Minji would consider to be somewhat of a guardian of hers if she could say it. He had been one of the few people to actually talk to her in her household many years ago and he was the same person who suggested her into enrolling into the academy. Sure, he was known to be cold and ruthless to students but he was a face she was most familiar with. Minji was never allowed to talk to other people while she was growing up - having her existence in complete secrecy but Professor Lee acknowledged her existence and skills. Perhaps without him, Minji would still be in that very same house being locked up for the rest of her life.

The girl stepped into cafeteria and went on her tiptoes, craning her next to look for the professor. Her eyes finally landed on him and she can't help but smile once she sees him. Minji gives him a quick wave before heading towards where he sat, taking up the seat near him. "Sorry for making you wait, Professor," she places her books on the empty spot on the table, "Got carried away with some light reading and all."

@(☾) kang seulgi The vampire was feeling good today, already forgetting about that day in the library thanks to the volunteer works she had busied herself with. Sure, Irene looked very reserved, cold, and kind of a but deep down, she loved doing good for the community hence why she chose medicine aside from the perk of access to blood bags. She made her way into the cafeteria and sighed softly in content as she tuned out the commotion around her. She only came here for the smell, not the food obviously. The vampire repressed the urge to smile when some parted to make way for her as she eyed an empty table in the corner right next to the window- her favorite spot. She took her seat, brushing her hair over her shoulders, and brought her Mac out so she could work on her latest project. With the noises around her blocked thanks to her earphones, she started typing away, humming softly while half of her face was covered by the device.

A little distance was also kept from her friends with whom she was usually sitting at in the cafeteria, laughing and gossiping about the newest happenings yet this time she used the excuse that she just needed some time alone. The ash blonde female absently picked on the rest of her steak, her hues glued to a small bird sitting on a tree outside before she let out a sigh.

@(✵) kim minji Taemin scanned through the list of required classes for Witches again, jotting down notes on ones he thought would be difficult and which ones would probably be easy. He knew the theory classes would be a breeze, but some of the more hands on classes were going to be challenging, specially Yifan’s classes. He knew that Minji was going to be required to take them if she wanted to graduate though, so preparing her now would give her the best chance at succeeding later. He had a class schedule already laid out for her, it was a very easy set up which would give her plenty of time to be catching up on everything her family failed to teach her. She was glaringly behind the other students in terms of practical application of magic, but he was sure he could help her catch back up. He had planned to meet with her today during lunch just to talk about how things were going and how she felt about the academy so far. He was glad she had taken his advice and decided to enroll after all, she had the potential to flourish here and he hoped that she would realize that for herself too.

He glanced at his watch, realizing she would be here any minute he gathered up the mess of papers and tried to re-organize them some what so they weren’t taking up the entire table. Once it was as good as it was going to get he stood up and went to go order something to drink and something for lunch. He had skipped breakfast that morning and the food at the academy really wasn’t bad. Granted he wasn’t exactly allowed to leave the academy so it didn’t really matter if it was good or not, but it helped that the food was more than edible. He ended up ordering the daily special for both of them since he wasn’t in the mood to actually think about something as trivial as food. His mind was on a million other things, he just hoped he would be able to concentrate enough to make sure Minji was doing well and help her if she needed it. It was uncharacteristic for him, helping people. He didn’t do it often. He didn’t generally like anyone enough to bother with them, but he knew Minji had potential and it just seemed like a waste of magic to let that potential wither.
