@lee jongsuk After a seemingly endless amount of hours spent in freezing lecture halls, boiling studio rooms, and a few painfully mundane shifts at the convenience store beneath her home, it was finally the end of the week. She made a quick stop at home to take the things she had been way too late to drop off and did a quick outfit change before heading out to the nearby pub. Her drawstring backpack thumped lightly against her with every step she took and she was glad that she'd taken the time to readjust the makeshift padding lest her bat drive a few holes into her back. Things had been relatively quiet on the bleak streets of Belgate, but she still felt the need to bring along the weapon -- like a weighty, nail-ridden security blanket. She stepped inside of the establishment, the bell above the door jingling rhythmically and blending with the low music. She scanned the perimeter of the pub, subconsciously checking for any potential threats before making her way to the bar counter and stepping up onto one of the empty stools. The man she'd inadvertently sat next to, a familiar face but she couldn't exactly place why, immediately took his drink and headed for one of the empty booths. She didn't pay it much mind and instead flagged down the bartender to order a Hemingway. A Death in the Afternoon.
@kamilla kucenko Today felt dull. If Jongsuk was able to describe the day in a simple colour, it would most definitely be grey. The world was devoid of its typical glow and unfortunately, the stash was low. It was too late to head to the local liquor store, so it seemed as though the pub would be the next stop. Before making his way through the bar's entrance, the pharmacist decided to pat himself down for a quick double check, making sure the wallet, keys, phone and what little sanity he had was still with him. With one last sigh, Jongsuk made his way into the pub, heading straight for the partially empty counter, avoiding as many people as possible. The entire room reeked of alcohol and cigarette smoke, making the man's lips curl in distaste. His dark eyes shifted around the room, noting the fact that even at around 11, it was still fairly low beat here, though that wasn't unexpected with the quite acoustics playing in the background. With that, Jongsuk turned towards the bartender, offering one of his most charming smiles as he ordered 3 shots of vodka and a side of cola, a good start to hopefully a medicore night.
Combat boots gently tapped against the floor below as the demon entered the establishment. Curls of liquid gold cascaded down her leather jacket shrouded back. A set of curved horns that resembled the color of onyx gemstones made a striking contrast to the gold atop her head, her equally as dark eyes scanning over the interior of the building. Looks of shock and awe could be seen in the other patrons. If she were lucky, people would think she was just a guest there to perform or simply attend. If not, well, she had some major issues to deal with in the future. Dusty rose lips parted in a sheepish smile as she tried to seem sheepish, though she was more than proud of her current appearance. "I was called in to perform for you all later tonight. No need to look so panicked. I can assure that this is all....what do you guys call it? A costume. A disguise. A ruse." She spoke slowly, hoping their poor little brains could understand. And with that, she made her way over to the bar, leaning upon the counter as she awaited the arrival of a bartender. "Surprise me. Just make sure it's strong." Catherine or well, Lilith remarked before turning around to rest her back upon the wood. Her fingers quickly toyed with her tube top and short skirt to make sure they were situated properly before she took the opportunity to look around the room once more. Maybe someone here could provide some adequate entertainment. At least, that's what she hoped.
