@k. jongin soojung wasn't sure how to act and didn't feel right taking shelter after the mess she made. this feeling of guilt - her programming must be really changing. she observed the host pull out a mattress yet she found it much more comfortable to sit on a metal stool right beside it. she cut her daze with a short and breathy, "oh right." she faces him with a gentle smile. "i'm soojung. it's a pleasure to meet you. i suppose that's true but i shouldn't make my stay too long. i don't want to hindrance you in any way."

she glanced at the streets and distracted herself with a few dark figures below as her thoughts aimlessly ran through. she needed to find some sort of support group and possibly find a way to safely escape. although it might be hopeless, she knew there were people out there willing to help. funnily enough, that theory was proven today. she returned her focus back on him with a simple nod. "that would help tremendously. i have a few broken wires as well." she paused, hesitant. "would you be willing to show me? my software has been malfunctioning and i'm not sure how well i can navigate as of this moment."

@j. soojung ˢʷ²⁰⁵ It isn't an unusual occurrence. Jongin has had a few deviants pop up at his door at unexpected hours in the past months since he started welcoming them to his doors, and, under the shadows of an early dawn when the humans barely stir, it's the safest bet they have. Jongin closes the door behind her and trots past her, his gait sleepy as he waves dismissively at her apology, into his bedroom. He pulls out a fold-able mattress. "My name is Jongin. This is my dance studio. Humans come in around 6pm to 10pm everyday so there's really no reason to rush."

Under the slivers of warm lamp lights filtering in through the shutters from the street, Jongin can almost count the lashes on the android's face, the slim shadows splayed across her cheeks. The corner of his lips tune up in a small smile. "I've got a container of biocomponents the deviants leave here for the newer ones, it's at the back. So if you need any, just tell me. Otherwise I'll see you in the morning?"

@k. jongin if you asked what soojung was doing, she couldn't give you straight answer. it used to be simple then. in a day-to-day basis, she'd be cleaning up tables and closing up the restaurant. why did she find herself following a male android who promised her a place to rest? anyone'd be naturally suspicious but she couldn't find herself to refuse, especially now that she was on the run. it was too late to turn back, unfortunately. with anxious breath, she continued to walk by his side. although she kept mostly to herself the conversation they had was pleasant and made the way shorter than anticipated.

as soon as they reached the studio, her guide knocked on the door. moments after it opened and revealed the owner, she instinctually hid behind the taller, popping her head every now and again to observe. a human? she questioned to herself. she didn't quite understand, the male android left it ambiguous to where they were headed but she couldn't have imagined this kind of situation. she felt saddened when the fellow android mentioned about leaving, eventually doing so in a matter of seconds with a wave and a soft goodbye. she bashful stared at the floor before shamelessly going inside and following the owner in.

"i do apologize if i'm bothering you. i'll make sure i leave first thing tomorrow morning." she broke the small but obvious silence with hands on top of the other as she walked.

It's past midnight on a Thursday, the only weekday Jongin doesn't have a dance class scheduled, and so, after the clock struck twelve it was time for Jongin to call it a day. Still in his socks and sweatpants after doing some contemporary, the dancer walks over to the windows to watch the city slowly come to light with human nightlife, the moon hanging like an obscured omen over the sea of twinkling lights. Moonlight spills over the floor of his studio, and slivers of it reach out as he pulls the shutter closed. Day over. He trots away, locking the main door before retreating to the backroom for the comfort of his single bed.

It doesn't take him long to fall asleep, but when he does, it takes certainly takes him long to wake up. '2:04AM' the digital clock beside his pillow screams as the rapping on his door continues to get louder and louder. It's been a solid ten minutes since the knocking started, but it had only continued to grow louder and louder. Jongin's eyes groggily flutter open. Not a lot of people come running to his door, but he had a creeping suspicion that he knows who they're going to be. He tosses the sheets off and opens the door, his suspicions confirmed. Deviants.

Usually, Jongin has an android friend who has the key to his studio in case any deviants were in desperate need for shelter, but today, it isn't the same person. This fella brought another android, a girl. Jongin squints at them both. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry sir, but Alex has been away for some time and I haven't been able to find him. So I brought her straight to you. I'm sorry to pop in at this time but I really have to leave now." There wasn't a second for Jongin to interrupt the android before he's leaving, the girl now hovering in front of him, looking lost. Jongin lets out a sigh, stepping back to welcome her in.

"Come, I'll pull out another mattress for you."
