@☁Fox Hyunjin Namjoon just stayed quiet as the ticklish feeling brushed against his jawline due to the leader's tail, not daring to move as the leader of the city had been so close to him. He had never seen the leader personally, he had heard of him since he lived in while guarding his city. "My apologies, sir." He had lowered his head, breaking the gaze since he did not mean to offend the leader by questioning his abilities. He then quietly listened to the leader's words before seeing him leaned down, slightly surprised at the very close distance between them. "With no questions, sir. This is my home, where I belong. That is my responsibility to die for you."
@☁Kim Namjoon (H) Hyunjin simply hummed as the other knelt in front of him, accepting the greeting with a tilt of his head. His tail d the other’s jawline, fluffy appendage tilting his chin up to their gazes. “I am well familiarized with the temple, don’t worry. And as for guards...” he laughs, softly, the wind twirling playfully around both of them. “I would not deserve to be the leader of the city if I needed guards to protect me. No, I’m more interested in you instead. You see, you may have thanked me for taking you in, but I still know very little about you...” he leaned down, elaborate robes brushing the rocks, “So I need you to tell me something. Would you die for Cheong Nyeong, if I asked you to?”
@☁Fox Hyunjin Namjoon just slightly raised his right eyebrow at his name being called out, clearly not being so pleased with the fact that this stranger knew of him but he did not know this stranger. He just stood in front of the male introducing himself before finally getting his name, nodding his head with a small bow towards him. "Yes, Hyunjin. I have heard about you and your generous action of taking me into your city. I thank you with my whole heart." He said as he knelt down in front of the city's leader, looking down at the ground. "Did you want to look around the temple? Do you want me to call any guards for you, sire?"
@☁Kim Namjoon (H) Though it was dark, the starlight provided more than enough light for his sensitive eyes to make out the approaching figure in the dark, narrowing slightly as he ran the name through his mind and relaxing when it matched- though ever so slightly. This was one that he had not yet tested. "Ah, so this is where you hide, is it, Kim Namjoon, castle guard? No wonder your fellow guards can't seem to find you on your days off." He hums, running his hands through the soft fur of his tail in a contemplative motion. "Hmm, yes. I seem to be running into a problem lately- this face does not garner as much attention as it used to. But at least my name should be familiar- you may call my Hwang Hyunjin." He replied lightly, gaze attentive as he searched the other for any traces of emotion flashing across.
@☁Fox Hyunjin As being a human, Namjoon was never sensitive over hearing or smelling his surrounding environment, he was more of relying on eye sight and for hearing, his abilities really made up for it as well. He just quietly whistled few tunes as he waited for the sky to darken a bit more to see his stars before being interrupted. He turned his head towards the unknowing voice, still being seated of where he was while looking down at the stranger. "Joon. Today is my day off from work, I'm enjoying the view here." He said in a calm voice before standing up to hop down from his spot to face the stranger. "Who are you?" He curiously asked.
@☁Kim Namjoon (H) The temple was where Hyunjin truly belonged. He’d spent his youth here, amongst the priests, until fortune or rather much misfortune pulled him away and eventually him into the center of, well, everything. But he’d never forgotten his childhood. Even though few in the temple now knew him or his story it was still home, and home it would remain. Whenever he caught himself being pulled under by the weight of his duties, the crisp winds of the temple always brought him back to the surface. It was the only time he could be properly alone with his thoughts... well that was what he had hoped for. Daytime visits were impossible; there were too many visitors there. So he’d tried to find the loneliest of nights and usually, they were lonely for good reason. Tonight hadn’t seemed any different, no noise except for the slight rustle of his elaborate clothing as he walked and the lazy chatter of the priests. Still, something was different. There was a scent in the air that didn’t belong. Hyunjin’s eyes narrowed, tail slowly swishing behind him as he searched for this intruder into his sanctuary. “Who’s there?”
@☁Fox Hyunjin It's always nice to take time or even a day off from work, it's better for the person and the people around them. Even though Namjoon was clearly the main guard of the gates, he wasn't the only one. During his time off which was rare, he would visit the temple. It was always nice to visit the temple because the place always gave him a very relaxing and comfortable vibe to him. He likes to visit at night especially since the temple was up on a mountain which made it better view to look up at the sky for stars. He quickly hopped over to few rocks of the mountains to find a good spot to sit and watch the sky turning dark until he heard the whispers of other workers in the temple about their faction's leader. He was never really curious or interested in knowing so much about the leader in the first place, but that could be because he always had a thick line to tell what he liked and disliked. He just shrugged his shoulders and swift his interested back at the sky which had the sun set to the darkness slowly. Even until then, he didn't know who he would encounter that night.
