@Park Sunyoung "Thank you," said Moriah in response to the compliment, "I always like to wear interesting clothes." She nodded after hearing the other's answer. Obviously the other was playing it safe with the way she spoke. "Well, I suppose it is true that it is nicer to be out and about than it it to be trapped in the kitchen. However, I understand you. I don't like socializing much and I know that eventually another noble or someone is will probably approach me and I'll probably have to grin and pretend to be interested in what their saying. In my opinion most nobles think too highly of themselves, and only talk about themselves at these types of events, either that or petty gossip."

@Moriah Pereira Sunyoung was surprised at first by the noblewoman's answer. Most loved gatherings like this, mingling with fellow nobility and celebrating in the most lavish of fashions. Then again, she could completely relate to her disinterest. "That's understandable, Lady Moriah. Publicity is always a good reason to come to events such as this. There's no need to push yourself further. Also, you do truly look quite beautiful. The pastels really stand out from the rest, in a grand way of course!" Her eyebrows furrowed at the question. She didn't want to speak out of line yet she wasn't one to lie completely. "Well, in my many ways, I am lucky with the level I can partake in this. Many of the workers cannot venture into great halls and have to stay put in the kitchens. I would not say that I do not care; however, I do not envy the pressure of mingling that comes with events likes this."

@Park Sunyoung "Uh, huh, sure thing," Moriah said in her dolly sounding baby voice. She shook her head. "I wasn't exactly planning on it. I'm only here because it's good publicity. I have no interest in the festivities. Plus, it's a chance to dress up. And I like doing that part. I like wearing interesting clothes. I don't really likr parties or doing what everyone else is interested in doing. That's just how I am," she shrugged, "And what about you? You're a worker, but do you wish you could participate? Or do you not care?"

@Moriah Pereira Sunyoung inwardly let out a sigh of relief. If her request had been rejected, it would have been difficult to find another secluded spot. Plus conversing with a noble in such a casual manner was risky in its own right. If she had caused any sort of offense, she would surely be punished. Luckily, the noble was extremely gracious. "Thank you, Lady Moriah. I truly appreciate it!" she responded, smiling back at her. Settling against the wall, she watched as the nobility chat and dance with one another. She looked back curiously at the other woman. "The Winter Ball is sure lively this year! Are you planning on joining in the festivities, Lady Moriah?"

@Park Sunyoung Moriah never liked parties or balls or anything of the sort. never liked how foolish or gossipy people could be at these. Not to mention how she didn't care for big crowds. This was just so annoying to her, but she had to put on a small plastered smile and look like she was having an okay-ish time. In reality, she was counting the seconds down in her head. Oh well, at least this gave her reason to dress up in whatever she wanted. She let out a sigh. Suddenly a servant appeared. Moriah was never one to look down on them, so she didn't mind. She smiled. "I don't mind," she said in her soft, doll-like voice. She didn't mind the company since it was from a servant and not a stuck up royal or something. Plus, this girl was pretty. But what could she say? Pretty people attracted other pretty people, so it made sense.

@Moriah Pereira Sunyoung found herself in a precarious position. While the other servants were serving wine or convening in the kitchen, she was here in the Great Hall amongst the sea of nobility. Being the personal handmaid of the princess required her to be within her royal highness’ vicinity. After walking behind the princess to the throne, she excused herself and tried to find a secluded area to stand by. Unfortunately, the only spot was currently occupied by one of the nobles. Still, she needed to stay near the princess so Sunyoung carefully approached the other woman.

“Excuse me, Lady Moriah. If you do not mind the company, is it alright if I stay here please ?” She asked respectfully.

@Kim Jinhwan Hitomi was a bit relieved when he didn't ask who she was avoiding. She was just glad he had found her before anyone else had. She was also glad that he seemed to be in a good mood. Though huge crowds like this tend to give her a bit of anxiety. She let out a small giggle, nodding. "Hopefully~." She said, smiling. She hummed and took his hand, following him. "You look really nice, by the way~."

@Hitomi Honda Jinhwan nodded lightly after Hitomi agreed to interact with others together. Jinhwan wasn't one for the events like this and only came because he was forced to. Jinhwan knew that Hitomi wasn't familiar with most of the people who stayed within his home country, so he felt a little better that he could at least let her get to know the people of his country. "Great. It will gain you bonus points with my mother as well." He said jokingly, offering her a hand before walking out into the crowd together.

@Kim Jinhwan She was silently thanking the heavens that he had found her. She didn't even know where or who to start with. Hitomi looked around a little, nodding to Jinhwan. "Oh... I guess we've both been avoiding certain people then..." She said quietly. She moved closer to him. She smiled a little bit, nodding. "That... Sounds like a really good idea." She did think it was a good idea. "Yeah... It would look better for us to be going around together." She couldn't help but smile now.

@Hitomi Honda Jinhwan was unsure about a lot of things, especially when it came to the situation with Hitomi. The one thing that he was sure of was the more they talked the easier it was to be around her. "Oh, I've been avoiding my mother, so it's been a wonderful time." He joked lightly, before looking around momentarily. "Why don't we go talk to people together?" He asked looking back at her. "I mean, since we are engaged, it would make a good look for us?"

Moriah entered the Great Hall of the castle, and, of course, in her true fashion...she was dressed very ornate. She walked in when her name "Lady Pereira" was called. She was wearing a pastel pink dress with a big poofed out hoop skirt. On her dress was a bunch of various pastel colored pom poms and lots of glitter. She wore her hair in two fish tail braids, one normal, the other inverted. She had on clear, see through shoes, and fuzzy dangle down pom pom pink earrings. She went to stand by the wall like a wall flower.

Joohyun entered the Great Hall as the doors opened and her name was announced she was dressed in a light blue dress tight around her waist and flowy feel at the skirt of the dress she wore dangling pearl earing along with a pearl necklace as she walked herself off to the side and drank a glass of champagne as she watched everyone else enjoy there time at the ball

@Kim Jinhwan Hitomi turned quickly at the sound of Jinhwan's voice. She smiled a little bit. "Mmm... That' right..." She said, sighing a little. Though she couldn't help but be happy that he had found her first. "Are you enjoying the Ball?" Having just arrived herself she wanted to make sure he was at least enjoying himself while he was here. "I'm not really sure who to talk to either."

@Kim Junmyeon "Junmyeon," Bomi repeated with a soft nod, lifting her glass to drink a bit more in the same motion. She made a soft sound at the question, involuntarily but a sound nonetheless. So her discomfort was as painfully obvious as she felt like it was. Excellent. She resisted the urge to dip her head in embarrassment, not wanting to make things worse that they were. "It is," she admitted, giving the room another glance-around. "My parents are very strict about these sort of events, but I...I managed to convince them this year. It's safe to assume that this isn't your first time, yes?"

@Hitomi Honda Jinhwan having been .in the great hall conversing with most of the nobles, as he was trying to avoid his mother. When he spotted his fiancee entering the great hall he finished his conversation with one of the dukes before making his way over to her. "You're supposed to keep your head up. Make sure everyone here knows your position." Jinhwan said as he approached her.

@Yoon Bomi Junmyeon smiled lightly as the other greeted him back and grabbing wine for herself, after she did Junmyeon grabbed one for himself, nodding to the worker as they started towards another group of people. "Junmyeon." He said giving Bomi his name. "It's a pleasure to meet you." He said before taking a sip of wine. "Is this your first time to the castle?" He asked taking note of how she seemed a bit uncomfortable.

Hitomi walked in quietly. She wore a red dress with white lace trim on the neckline, sleeve hem, and skirt hem. She also wore a green silk sash as a sort of belt. She kept her head down, only looking to stand off to the side. She still wasn't used to the castle or anyone in it but Jinhwan. She glance around, looking for him. Just so that she could at least say hello to him.

@Kim Junmyeon Bomi had always been familiar with the idea of being alone in a crowded room, but she'd never fully grasped it until now. Everyone seemed to know each other and they allcarried along conversation like old friends that had just seen one another, picking up without a hitch. Admittedly, she was jealous them. It must have been nice to be comfortable around other people, or to at least be able to fake it convincingly. She was so lost in her envious thoughts that she belatedly noticed a man approaching her, until it was too late for her to try getting away. She appreciated him at the same time though: taking the initiative to approach her. "Oh, hello," she greeted with a soft, nervous laugh. She curtsied, lifting her gaze in time to see the worker. "Uhm, yes...thank you," she said, offering an appreciative smile and reaching for one of the chalices. She took a small sip before offering a polite smile. "My name is Bomi, it's a pleasure to meet you..." She trailed off, waiting for a name.

@Yoon Bomi Junmyeon was dressed in his best attire, entering the great hall as he was announced. He bowed to the King and Queen before making his way through the crowd as he said small "hello"s to his aquantinces as he passed by. Junmyeon had done this half a million times that it was almost habit to make sure you greeted everyone in the room that you were aquantinces with so as not to be shown as rude. Making his way through the crowd, Junmyeon's eyes landed on a girl, near one of the pillars. By reading her body language, he could tell she didn't feel at place but he did remember her being announced as a royal.

Approaching the princess, Junmyeon cleared his throat. "Your highness." He said giving a bow as he greeted her. "Care for a glass of wine?" He asked as one of the castle workers approached just on time with a tray carrying glasses.

Eunyoung was seated near the King and Queen on a small throne. She was wearing a light blue dress with white accents, her white veil covering her face. She sat with her hands on her lap looking around at all the people talking and having fun as she just sat there, she wasn't really one for social events, especially since she's never really been to one before, she listened to all the names of the guests been called out as they entered into the great hall, admiring all the gorgeous women who did not havw to wear a veil, it's not that Eunyoung was ugly, but because of all the rumours spread about why she wears a veil the one about her being ugly stuck out the most, she started to kind of believe it, because she had no reason not to, since her parents never told her why she needed to wear this veil, all she knew was that the King and Queen requested it so she does it.

Just outside of the ornate doors to the Great Hall, Bomi was a mess of nerves, though she tried her best not to show it. A She shouldn't look like this was her first large event outside of home in ages, even if it was. As she stood there, waiting to be announced, she considered turning around and leaving probably a million times. She anxiously squeezed one gloved hand in the other and jumped nearly a mile from her shoes when the doors began to open, having completely missed her own name in her thoughts. The princess offered a smile of appreciation and took careful steps into the large room, taking in the sights in awe. This castle was much larger than hers, easily showing the difference between the two royal houses. Unsure of where to go, she found herself standing awkwardly one of the pillars as she watched everyone who seemed so familiar with one another.

"Now presenting: Lady Shin Bora of Villeport," the herald's voice rang loud and clear through the Great Hall, even cluing Bora herself and the guards outside who opened the impressive doors to reveal her. She smiled and nodded her head ever so slightly in thanks while lifting the skirts of her floor-sweeping gown to take her first steps into the room. As she walked in, posture dripping with poise, the viceroy suo jure took in all of the sights: the elaborate decorations, the already-present guests mingling with one another. Their buzz was accompanied with the sounds of jovial music and she smiled at a few familiar faces while finding her own niche to take up, engaging in conversation with a man she recognized as her father's old acquaintance.
