@Kim Jinhwan Hitomi's head was spinning. She was having mixed feelings now... She didn't want this... But looking at him... She kind of wouldn't mind... Especially if they start getting to know each other... She looked over at him again and took him in. To be honest... She hadn't expected him to look so good... Not in a million years did she imagine he would look like that.
"Thank you~." She said, smiling happily. It was common for her to be complimented... But when it came from him... For some reason... It felt different... More important than any other compliment she's gotten before. She followed him, smiling a little. "Well... Dad is... Not exactly any better..." As she followed him through the halls.
@Hitomi Honda Jinhwan felt awkward, he didn't know how to talk to her. He didn't even think that he wanted to be in the arranged marriage but now that Hitomi was standing right here in front of him he didn't know how to let her know. Maybe she felt the same way? Maybe not. He wasn't sure, but he knew that for now he would have to follow his mother's orders and at least get a little acquainted with her. Maybe after doing so, he would know for sure what he wanted to do.
"Of course, a lady like you deserves to know she's stunning." He said proudly. After Hitomi took his hand he looked around the room for a moment thinking about where to take her first. Instead he started walking with no direction in mind. "So, how was everything back at home?" He asked calmly as they entered the halls of the castle.
@Kim Jinhwan Hitomi didn't know what else do to but stand there. They haven't seen each other since they had been engaged... Six years ago... And that was a very brief meeting... She would have liked to have spent more time with him and get to know him... Because maybe she wouldn't feel the way she does about this... And she could be herself with him... Her eyes landed back on Jinhwan when he nodded to her.
"You're welcome..." She said, smiling a little. She watched him step towards her. Hitomi glanced down at her dress and smiled a little more. "Thank you~!" She hummed softly, noting his smile. She liked that smile. It seemed warm and gentle, inviting. She set her hand in his. "That would be really nice." Hoping for a chance to actually talk to him.
@Hitomi Honda Despite Jinhwan's normal arrogant behavior, he couldn't bring himself to be downright rude to someone, especially his fiancee. The two had been engaged for 6 years and barely seen each other, maybe once on the day both their parents had decided that they were going to be married, but not since then. It seems to be a luxury of the poor to be able to actually be around the one you are going to married and get to know them before marriage. Jinhwan took a calming breath and nodded at Hitomi.
"Thanks." He said stepping forward slightly. "You look absolutely stunning." He offered a gentle smile, and offered his hand for the other to take. "Would you like to see around the castle, it's almost a new place to you." He said hoping that the castle tour would ease the both of them a bit and get a chance to actually talk.
@Kim Jinhwan Hitomi stood silently in front of the queen and the prince. He looked very handsome and he was only standing there. She watched as he bowed towards her. A soft, shaky breath leaving her lips. She turned her attention back to the queen.
She looked directly at the queen as her name was said. She smiled a little. Still listening. She nodded to the queen. "Thank you for the warm welcome~." Trying not to look distressed in the presence of the queen. She watched as she left the throne room.
Her smile fell just a little after the door closed. She looked at Jinhwan. "Likewise..." She said quietly. This was definitely not like Hitomi. To be shy and quiet... And it was bothering her... But she wasn't exactly happy at the moment either. She inhaled deeply. "You... Umm... You look good..."
@Hitomi Honda Jinhwan let out a sigh, glancing at his mother briefly before turning around to properly greet to coming princess. She was dressed in purple, and her hair in braids, Jinhwan couldn't deny that she looked beautiful. He bowed to greet her before turning to look at both his mother and at Hitomi.
"Princess Hitomi." The queen began. "This is my son, Jinhwan, your fiance." She smiled warmly at the princess. "I will leave you two to get a bit more acquainted with each other and we will meet again this evening to discuss the wedding." She said standing up off of her throne, nodding her head in a small bow as she exited the room.
Jinhwan sighed lightly watching as his mother left the room before looking at Hitomi. "It's a pleasure meeting you." He said a bit shortly.
@Kim Jinhwan Hitomi was silent as they approached the castle. She didn't know what was about to happen... Or what he was like... All she wanted was to be with her father... But was sent away to do her princess duties... Marrying someone against her will... She fixed her dress as they approached the doors. The purple and gold going perfectly. Small purple flowers were tucked into her braided hair as well. Her tiara seated neatly. She declined every offer she received since she arrive, too shy to accept any of them. Except for help with her things.
"Oh my goodness..." She whispered to herself. Her lady in waiting beside her, concerned. "I don't think I can do this..." After a few moments of being soothed of her nerves she nodded to the guards. She walked into the throne room after the announcing of her arrival. Giving a short curtsy to the queen. Her eyes landing on the prince briefly.
@Hitomi Honda The messenger entered Jinhwan's room, announcing that his presence was requested in the Throne Room by his mother, the queen. Of course, he already knew why, and even though he was reluctant to do so, he wasn't going to face the wrath of his mother. He let out a sigh as he got dressed in a presentable outfit, and made his way to the throne room. Luckily Jinhwan was the first one to arrive there out of the two that were being called to the throne room, the other being his fiance.
"Mother, we talked about this." Jinhwan said in a quiet tone to make sure that if his fiance was around, he didn't want her to hear it.
"Jinhwan, as the next king, this is what is required. You need to be married." The queen said in a short turn, nodding her head as the guards announcing Princess Hitomi's arrival entered the throne room.
