@Kim Jinhwan "Ah, you're a prince?" Bomi asked, the words leaving her lips before she had the chance to think. Then she realized she hadn't actually given the man a proper look in the entire time they'd been speaking. His clothes were no doubt that of a noble: lavish, intricately embroidered. Certainly princely. She looked down at her own expertly crafted dress and got embarrassed all over again. Here she was: looking like some pauper with an affinity for mud sports. Her mother would kill her; not that she hadn't already signed her death certificate the second she stole away with her horse in the dead of the night. She snapped out of her thoughts and offered a smile smile and dip of her head. "It's a pleasure to meet you, even though I wish it would have been under better circumstances. I'm princess Bomi," she said, starting to supply her home's name but she didn't want to run the risk of being sent back. Her name would be enough; it wasn't as if her parents allowed her to be well-known. Or, rather, her mother.
@Yoon Bomi Jinhwan offered a soft smile as he helped the other up, trying to be careful as to not hurt her broken arm. "I can take you back home and have someone fix it up for you." Jinhwan said softly. he wouldn't admit it but he was a little embarresed of not having the skills to help her right now. He was just afraid that he would hurt her arm even more. "Clean the scrapes up and let you get cleaned up as well." Jinhwan said knowing there had to be someone in the castle who could help her. "Of course, it wouldn't leave a good name for a prince if they didn't help people in his own country." He said a bit boastfully.
A soft sigh escaped Bomi as her suspicions were confirmed and she mentally cursed herself for being careless enough to let go of the horse's reigns, even if the entire situation was out of her hands. "I didn't assume you could," she replied with a wry smile before it shifted to a bit more a thankful expression. "My luck simply refuses to work in that way," she said, reluctantly releasing the ginger hold she had on her arm to take his hand and get to her feet. She caught sight of the dirt caking her dress. She would have lamented it, but it hardly seemed like the most important of her problems. "Thank you though," she added once she was steady. "Not many would stop on their way like this."
Jinhwan may be known as the arrogant prince, but he still had kindness in his heart. Even as the prince he couldn't walk away from hearing someone scream, and go about his day as if nothing happened. What kind of person would his country see him as if he ignored anyone who needed help. So when the girl started to decline Jinhwan's help his eyes glanced at her lightly as he leaned away from her just a tad.
Jinhwan looked over her arm once more, trying to determine the actual damage of it. "I would say that arms broken." He said answering her question without a second thought. "Though, I would be lying if I told you I can do anything for it for now, until we got you to someone who can actually help fix it." He said placing one of his hands on his knee and held out the other to help the girl up with her good arm.
@Kim Jinhwan Caught up in her own predicament, Bomi hadn't even noticed the sound of additional hooves, nor the crunch of someone else's feet on the near-frozen ground. She only noticed the stranger when his shadow was cast upon her and, even then, she kept her gaze low as an embarrassed blush settled over the apples of her cheeks.
"N-no, I'm fi—" She cut herself off, letting out a soft sigh. Even she knew there was no way she'd manage to get back on her horse like this and, now, her morale was suffering severely. If she didn't want to go home with her tail between her legs, she'd have to accept help. She lifted her gaze to meet his and opened to speak, but she really couldn't place what to say.
"Uhm.." she looked around, catching sight of her horse grazing as if nothing was wrong before looking at her arm that still ached. She also became aware of a series of scrapes that burned all over her body, probably from impact with all of the sticks and stones about but they seemed like the least of her worries. "Would you happen to know what a broken arm looked like?" she asked, glancing back at the man hopefully.
@Yoon Bomi Every year Jinhwan would leave the castle for a leisurely activity, and stay gone for a week. Every year Jinhwan would go hunting, ormally he would be hunting with his father and brothers, however this year when it came time to hunt they were all busy, so Jinhwan decided that he would goo on the hunting trip by himself. Well, as 'by himself' as he could get as anytime he left the castle he was followed by at least one of his personal guards. Which Jinhwan didn't really mind as the guards would keep Jinhwan company on the trip.
Jinhwan and his guards had set up camp somewhere along the wooded area of the mountain, as it was one of the most populated areas for deers to be. Being the last day of the hunting trip, Jinhwan decided that he would go on a stroll across the mountain, informing the guards that if he didn't return then he just probably went back home to the castle, and he got on his horse leading her away from the campsite, despite the guards telling him that he should stay close by.
All was calm and quiet despite the hooves of the horse clacking on the rocky trail that Jinhwan was following, and he was enjoying the evening air as a soft breeze brushed across his skin. It wasn't until he got a few miles out from the campsite that he heard some ruckus going on not to far away from him. It was the sound of a horse, a female's scream, and sound of something or someone hitting the ground... hard. Curious, Jinhwan followed the sound, before seeing sight of a girl on the ground, and a horse not too far away from her. Before approaching, JInhwan watched momentarily to see if he would actually be needed. When he watched the girl try to get up only to fail, he jumped off his horse, deciding to help.
"Excuse me." Jinhwan said as he got closer to the girl, not wanting to startle her. "I couldn't help but notice you were in trouble/" Jinhwan said before knealing down beside her, his eyes glancing at her arm.
@Kim Jinhwan This was crazy. This was impossibly mad; the most absurd and off-kilter thing that Bomi had ever done in her life. That was what she'd essentially been telling herself for the past two days, maybe four? She wasn't sure anymore and she was cold even with her thick, fur-lined cloak, and obscenely hungry as she couldn't eat too much, lest running the risk of being out food before she got to the next locale which was easily another day away. The only thing keeping her on track and determined not to turn back was the fact that she'd definitely be living in far worse conditions back home—emotionally, at least. For the most part. Maybe getting kidnapped would be a bit better, or being eaten by bears. Anything to escape the queen and her lost mind.
Letting out a drawn out sigh, feeling utterly sorry for herself, the princess turned her gaze out to the horizon through the thick curtain of trees. It would be dark soon, so she decided to start searching for a place to sleep for the night. Hopefully a nice, empty cave where she didn't have to deal with the thick blanket of snow covering the terrain. Her train of thought was immediately broken by the sound of quick movement in the brush.
Seconds later, a horse's whiny immediately followed by a scream and a wet thud echoed throughout the forest, disturbing the evening silence and sending a small flock birds flying away from the source. A few beats later, a pained groan sounded as the princess, thrown from her horse sat up. From her unwilling seat in the mud, she glared at her "trusty steed" that seemed to have been spooked by the passing buck. She let out a string of unlady-like words in the equines direction before moving to push herself up to stand, only to yelp as her arm buckled and sent her back down as a sharp pain shot through it. Tears pricked her eyes and she bit her lip while trying to breath through the pain.
