@☾ ten gold Dex was in the middle of stocking a shelf of children's books when he caught someone waving at him from the corner of his eye before calling out to him. "Hm? Oh, yes, I work here." He replied, setting the picture book that he was currently holding back into the cardboard box at his feet. "In fact, this is my mother's store." Dex continued with pride swelling in his chest. His mother, Belle, was absolutely intelligent, and Dex wasted no opportunity to inform others of her success. "Is there something I can help you with?"
@☼ codex rose Ten was bored. He was experiencing a terrible art block and lack of motivation to dance. Every note he played on a piano or guitar didn’t sound right and being outdoors became boring. So he went to the next best place — a bookstore. While trying to find the newest storybook, he noticed a boy close to his age working around. Raising a brow, he approached the other curiously with a slight smirk, waving his hand to catch his attention. “Excuse me, do you work here?”
His mother’s bookstore. He enjoyed coming here to help out when he was able to in between classes and assignments, whether it be restock shelves or assist customers. Nothing beat the scent of books. It just...seemed to calm him immensely. Dex had his mother to blame for that. Not that he minded, of course.
