@✨ manoban lalisa making her towards the movie theater, ryujin imagines the sort of reactions she'll be making tonight as she watches the horror movie with lisa. she's always enjoyed certain aspects about watching horror movies—if she could spend all day watching horror movies for the sole purpose of angrily commenting at the stupid decisions the characters would make on the screen she'd do it. though, more often than not, ryujin loathed horror movies since most are all noise to make up for their horrible jumpscares and terrible storylines.
entering the vicinity, ryujin instantly notices her friend waiting for her, noting the amount of things in her hands. the younger female lightly jogs to lisa with a small pout forming on her face the moment she reaches the girl, "lali - you could have waited for me so we could split the bill evenly," her tone of voice laced with guilt whilst she takes the items from lisa's grasp, "sorry if i made you wait by the way."
@✨ shin clown oppa almost shivering just by the thought of the movie that her friend and her were gonna watch, lisa stumbled her way to the ticket booth. "2 tickets for..." She looked up to the list of movies that were being played, almost rethinking her decisions. did she really want to watch a scary horror movie? sighing to herself, she decided that maybe she should try it for the thrill. "For that movie." She said, pointing at the horror film she was talking about.
after buying some popcorn, soda, and other snacks. she waited around for ryujin to arrive. if she was gonna suffer through this, she wasn't gonna do it alone!
Cold silence befalls the theater, becoming Dongwoon's own comfort and company— the latter of which he shared with a few more people scattered among the seats below him in the one hour quarantine he hoped would give him some sort of entertainment.
It was only a few minutes left before the film would start and he was fast to take one of the seats far back— where people usually wouldn't want to go to. He wanted to relish the solitude his position offered as long as it could and before he knew it, the movie had started.
His ears were quite irritated — the audio was too loud for his taste. Vibrance popped on the screen in front — too bright for his eyes. People started pouring in, seats taken one by one, and eventually the one beside him.
‘nice while it lasted’, he thought to himself.
Perhaps, at this point, the only thing he enjoyed was the popcorn he kept munching on. Salted puffs pleased his tongue, enough to distract him from the constant wiggling from the people beside him.
Oh, how he regretted thinking a movie in an actual theater would cure his boredom.
In contrast to the vivid visuals that attacked him, the deafening murmurs of the people that surrounded him and the annoying shake off the seat he was in; his senses were taking in so much, yet still, he sat there, eyes empty, face blank, and with the same black and white view of the day that had been making him disconsolate.
