@r kouryu "No, but if someone is shooting at us from above, they do not have knives to cut someone's throat," Seonghwa said amused. "Or like, easily access to shoot our chest in general." He chuckled amused and put the stuff on him. it felt weird though, to wear those clothes, but they did look less like actually mafia and more like swat people. He then looked at Kouryu and nodded. "Well,y es, it could get us the possible retreat. Or it will cause us some more trouble and we'll be caged. Either way, we don't really have many options."
All they could do was cause some trouble or try and climb up. Or do both, it was worth a shot. Better than doing nothing, at least to Seonghwa. "Let's do it. Let's cause some bag and confusion in hopes we'll get out. If you can shoot that well," he teased and looked at the other.
@p seonghwa "Didn't really keep them safe, now did it?" He smirked as he place the helmet down that was tossed at him. Looking over several of the men before finding one that would fit him better. Removing all his equipment and putting them on himself, disappointed in himself for wearing white of all days. Fitting everything into place, making minor adjustments here and there before he was completely satisfied with how he looked. Dragging away the now civilian looking swat officer into the nearby room to hide him just long enough for them to get away.
"Might have to use that canister sooner than we thought," pointing to one of the bodies, "we could put it back on him and shoot it. That will be our way out. With the bang and confusion, it'd only be natural someone would be hurt and others would retreat."
@r kouryu "Yeah, but either we are trapped down here or up there," Seonghwa nodded and looked at the other, nodding. They had not many choices, sadly, but they had to make a decision after all. A sigh left his lips and he stretched a bit, brushing over his face. He really did not want to stay here. "Let's try get up. You are right with the helmets. We could also get the safety wear. Maybe it keeps us safe from any bullets." Because Seonghwa really was not looking forward to getting shot anytime soon. "You ready?"
He grabbed the helmet and threw one at Kouryu before he grabbed one of the safety wests.
@p seonghwa "Climbing up could trap us even more than we are down here," he spoke flatly. Glancing around again, as he tried to think of something quickly. They knew the groups kept coming from one end of the building and the other end was possibly chained shut. They didn't even know if there were any other doors in the place, they could attempt going out the way they came or risk climbing up to the roof and hope they don't get spotted right away.
Looking down at the bodies, tilting his head to a side, before turning to the other and looking him over again. "You look about the same size, helmets could hide our faces."
@r kouryu (dont worry, take all the time you need tbh! I dont mind later replies <3 )
"Probably. Guess we are stuck in here until we find a way out ourselves," Seonghwa nodded as he looked around. Maybe they could hide or actually climb out, finding a way to escape. He knew there was a basement down below but there was no way they could get in right now as every entrance to it was blocked. So maybe a different way. He knew there were tunnels too but who knew if the ing fbi or whatever hadn't already blocked that way.
"Up, huh? Guess it's the only smart decision," Seonghwa agreed as he walked with the other, keeping his eyes around while Kouryou checked the debris. If someone suddenly jumped on them, they would be ed after all. "What are your thoughts?" he asked and looked at the other, listening to the sounds around them.
@p seonghwa (, didn't realize it was this long overdue.)
Standing up, glancing around at the directions the men had come from; making sure no one else was actually following up behind them. Pointing the the direction the were heading, "we might just have to wait for someone to open the door. They might've just been the group that were sent to flush us out."
Looking back then up at the ceiling pointing to it with a smirk, "how about we go up? Or do you think they'll believe we did if we find a place to hide."
Climbing on the debris to check the height and the remaining strength of the structure. With part of the wall nearby he was pretty confident he could climb out. The only problem being, they would be sitting ducks up there; if the had the choppers still up they'd spot them easily.
@r kouryu "I will try that," Seonghwa said amused and shook his head. Who knew, maybe they would get startled and really stopped but honestly, who knew. He his lips and looked at the other before he looked over to the guys, letting Kouryu check them for anything they could take along. Not that he really cared though, he had his own weapons so he was good. He was about to turn around as Kouryu suddenly through something at him and he caught it just in time, looking surprised at it. "Yeah, I hope so," he said and checked it out, nodding. Hopefully they would find who they wanted to kill so badly. Because that was on his to do list for today.
A groan left Seonghwa's lips and was he glad that thing had not gone off before. "Well, we can now use it for us," he then said but deep inside he hoped they wouldn't because he hated that . It was so unnessecary. He'd rather have another grenade. He shook his head and looked around before he checked the entrances, but most were either locked or one-way-street. "Let's see if we can find our target. If not, let's get out."
@p seonghwa "Tell them to slow down next time," he half joked as he walked over to the other two's bodies; quickly scavenging what they needed from them. Checking how many were left in the guns before putting the one away, just as he was about to pull out a knife he heard static of a radio. Rolling the man over he saw a small radio clipped to his belt. Smiling to himself as he pulled it off; at least now they could listen in and with any luck redirect them.
"Here," he tossed the radio to the other, "we might be able to use that. Maybe they will lead us to our targets."
Glancing at the body again, now that it was turned over, he found another interesting item. Reaching for it carefully, he shook his head with a dry laugh. Holding it up for Seonghwa to see it clearly, "can you imagine how pissed we'd be if this managed to pull this out? Or if I aimed differently? You'd think they'd keep bang-bombs elsewhere on them. These are more annoying that grenades."
@r kouryu Cursing, Seonghwa managed to cover his ears just in time before Kouryu shot the men. He growled slightly and looked at him, a little unhappy as the guns had been way too close to his ears. "Thanks for saving my but next time don't almost kill my ears, thanks," he chuckled and shook his head a bit, relaxing. Damn, he should have been more careful but at least it had worked out like this. He could have waited a little longer, yes, but that might have gotten the other killed and he could not have risked that.
"Yeah, a lot happier," Seonghwa than said and looked at the dead people, not really feeling anything. That was the thing with this job, feeling remorse or pity was not the thing one should feel in here. It was useless and would only stop them from getting further.
"My aim isn't lousy," he groaned and shook his head, grabbing two guns and some bullets and putting them away securely. "I just could be better. Can't change the fact you are just really ing good," he said and shrugged his head a bit. "Let's get our asses out of here."
@p seonghwa Making a convincing act he managed to lure the few to the waiting trap, letting the other deal with them quickly. Glad, he was good with his knives as well, walking up to join him as he put his knife away. Standing in front of Seonghwa as he rambled on abut how many there usually were. With an amused expression and a side smile, he watched as two more rounded the corner behind the other man. Pulling out both guns he aimed for the two men, not bothering to warn him, since that would take up precious time. Pulling the triggers just as each man had drawn their own guns, counting them off in amusement, "five and six."
Lowering his weapons, smile still on his face, because as ed up as the situation was, there was still some hysterity to how accurate they were. Each having experience in their field enough to know what to expect even after their cover and basically been blown at the beginning. Giving a quick shrug, knowing he probably looked as crazy as he felt, "happy now? They've all been found in this group."
Pointing at the bodies on the floor, "grab what you can off of them. Just cause your aim is lousy, doesn't mean you can't use a gun to force them in a corner. I'll get what I can from them."
@r kouryu Listening closely, Seonghwa nodded and looked at the other. He honestly just wanted to get out of here and if he was just a little more morally evil he would have tried to find a way out without the hitman - but he was not a like that. Aside from that the other was a good partner in crime and he really couldn't lose that. Also, they had the same enemy. "Okay," he nodded and rushed over to the debris of what had once been a ceiling, hiding behind it so he could see well but was covered. Holding his knife tightly he kept his eyes on the people, checking how many it were. Four. He could do that. His eyes kept on the people and on Kouryu before they started to talk. Their voice echoing from the walls and it was hard for Seonghwa to understand what they were talking. Probably for Kouryu to give up and let his weapons fall. Not that they would do this. Hiding behind the next best debris he made his way forward, grabbing the man standing furthest way, covering his mouth and cutting his throat. He had to be fast now. So he did not really care, stabbing one of the other's into the back and the other into the neck. He needed to get rid of them before anyone would notice. He just pushed his knife into the last man's chest before he nodded at Kouryu. "They are usually six," he then realised and frowned. But those were only four. .
@p seonghwa "Experience will do that," he quickly gathered more of their equipment as their own. Glancing over to the sound of the footsteps, trying to estimate how faraway they were, tsking to himself. Looking over to to another area to quickly think of what their next move should be. Pointing to an area where the wall had given way and the ceiling now on the ground. More than likely it was here that the grenade went off, "think you could hide there, while I draw their fire? I'll keep their eyes on me until you get the chance to strike. After this bunch we could then climb up to see if we can find where their parked and our route out of here."
Dusting off his clothes has he made his way to a door way past the fallen ceiling, he could probably make them believe that that was his destination, hopefully none radioed it out before they had the chance to climb up. Pulling out a knife, they had to think the was alone and if they noticed the knife wounds but no knife on him, they'd figure out he wasn't alone. He had to play smart and keep both of them alive or else neither would be making it out and get revenge on the s.
@r kouryu It was almost scary how right Kouryu had been. It only had taken a few moments before another person had noticed the hitman and Seonghwa held his knife tightly, watching as that person sneaked up on the hitman. Only seconds later Seonghwa was right behind them and covered their mouth, cutting their throat. They went down in a bloddy mess but with nothing but gurgled sounds that were drowned out by the sound of gunfire in the distance, maybe a different room.
"Scary how accurate that was," he mumbled and looked around, his eyes observing the area. He was hiding behind some empty crates but he kept his eyes open so he would find whoever was out to kill them. "We need to move," he then said, hearing footsteps coming closer from a different room. And they needed to be fast, but for now the other had confirmed how good of a fighter he was.
@p seonghwa "I've been ready," he smirked as he readied the gun turning to the door a bit. "I'll head out first, keep a few steps behind so they'll think I'm alone. With any luck they'll trying sneaking up on me to put me in cuffs. That's if they believe I'm completely out and alone. If they aren't the two s we're looking for."
Opening the door carefully to take a quick peek around, before taking a few slow steps out in the open. Keeping himself ready in case he had to duck or retreat. Taking each step carefully, but with some speed to reach the bodies of the fallen officer and another person he didn't recognize. Look of his clothes he would've thought some janitor or something, but he wasn't stupid. It was just another cop, but undercover, that's probably how his cover got blown. The guy blended into the background so much, he didn't even draw suspicion. Frowning to himself as he bent down in front of them, keeping the gun in hand as he searched them with his free one. Putting what he could find in his pocket, they could divide the ammo when they got to a different room.
@r kouryu (don't worry, I have that too sometimes so it's more than okay!)
Seonghwa listened to the other and held onto the knife, walking towards the door with Kyo. He would have to keep his eyes open and make sure he got whoever was trying to take their lives. "Yeah, I think I can take them out quick enough," Seonghwa said and nodded. He was glad he had gotten his knives sharpened just recently and therefore he knew he would not have to put on too much strength to push the knives into the bodies or cut the throats - at least something. "We need to hurry before they decide to get in here," he mumbled, seeing someone open the door to a different room, taking out whoever was in there. They could use the surprise moment and just get them real quick. "You ready?"
@p seonghwa "So gathering ammo it is," he kicked himself off the wall, pointing to the back door, We need t keep an eye on that one too, then. Who knows if they got the bright idea to cut the bolts off and let themselves in. If we lure in too many at a time, they might just swarm us by breaking in through there at the same time."
Checking the gun over moment to make sure it wasn't going to jam on him the second they left the building. "If we're lucky they're keeping to small groups we could lure one now then move on to the next room to catch another group. Making for the weapons on the ones just outside might help them believe we are completely out. I can lure them if you think you can manage to take them out quick enough with your knives."
(Sorry this is short, my mind is taking a break on me.)
@r kouryu “Yeah, agreed,” Seonghwa mumbled. He wished he had more bullets but all the bullets they could get were outside this empty, abandoned room and in the middle of a gunfight. He groaned and brushed through his hair, nodding. “Yeah, I guess so,” he mumbled and looked at the other. “Want to come with me to the headquarters to shoot him yourself?” he asked and looked towards the door, ready to strangle whoever had let them inside this disaster.
“Though I am pretty sure whoever did that will try to shoot us so we wont be able to speak,” he then added. He had seen a few bullets way too close to his own head before but he hadn’t expected to have a goddamn mole in his own group. Not a surprise though, some were double agents and thought they could get away with it. Not this time, Seonghwa wouldn’t let them. “So whoever aims at us, shoot them I guess.” Which would be difficult without any bullets though.
For a moment Seonghwa weighed the options. “If the backdoor wasn’t locked, it would already be opened by someone,” he said and nodded. “So grabbing ammo it is. Find our way out, steal the SUV. But first we shoot that .” Because now Seonghwa was pissed. And it was hard to really get him pissed and angry. He watched the other and got up, grabbing one of his knives, just in case. “So time to refill our guns,” he then nodded at the other.
“ the GPS, for real. It’s as you said. Get far away and then get away. I could also probably just turn of the GPS.” If Seonghwa was honest, he didn’t care if they followed them. As long as they weren’t in the middle of a gunfight he was fine.
@p seonghwa "Four is better than none, better make them ing count, too." Taking the gun for the other, placing his personal gun in on a side holster for later use. If he was going to shoot the in the head he was going to make sure the entire police for knew it was him. "If we don't find that mole today, guess you'll find him when you make it back. They will already have it spun to make it look like you were at fault, especially if you were the one doing all that work."
Checking door carefully peeking through a crack, place looked clear but that was still a gamble that he was too thrilled about just yet. Glancing at the few bodies nearby, tossed over from the grenade explosion. Closing the door quietly with a shrug, "we could always go fishing. There's a couple bodies with some firearms and ammo still on them. Or we could make a run for it through the back door over there, but I don't know if it's bolted from the outside of not."
Leaning against the wall near the door as he tried weighing their options, not wanting to be trapped like a rate in a maze any longer. Not when they had a score to settle. Tapping his finger on his leg as an idea formed, "we could still get the guns... Lure a few in to refill our stock... Find a way out hopefully see our man on the way out to bid him a proper farewell. I doubt we'd make it to my bike, but they do have their SUVs just sitting out there with the doors wide open and keys still in the ignition."
Smiling a bit to himself, "they might have GPS, but we just need to get far enough away to dump it, then go our separate ways."
@r kouryu ”You aren’t the only one wanting him dead,” Seonghwa said and grabbed his phone to check if he had a signal – of course not – or if he had a photo of the blueprint but, of course, he had none either. He cursed under his breath. Whoever had sold them to that he would tear them apart for sure. They wouldn’t see the next day and the corvus hitman clearly promised that as well. A growl left Seonghwa’s lips. Son of a .
“Do I look like I don’t do my job well?” Seonghwa gave back, anger in his voice. “I did. I saw him entirely , even checked his ing .” That wasn’t s lie. “I even scanned him. He got new clothes afterwards.” So either someone else had done it or this guy was ing smart. He wasn’t sure what he preferred though. He then nodded at the other. Yeah, neither had Seonghwa been in charge of checking the damn outlines of this place but next time he would definitely make sure of that. “Whoever it was they won’t make it out alive.” And they both were pretty sure about that.
Quietly Seonghwa listened to the other words and shook his head, holding the gun he and grabbed earlier out to him. The other was better with shooting after all. “There are four bullets still inside. I’m not as good as you with shooting.” So it was better if the other took it. He had knives too, he was a better fighter with that but who came to a gunfight with ing knives? “What is your plan?” he asked and looked outside, seeing that they were getting dangerously close. He could see quite a few people dead but it didn’t seem to stop anytime soon.
@p seonghwa "Then who?" He roared out angrily, the ringing almost gone, looking to the other. Still trying to work out how or who could've helped the prisoner without drawing any attention from anyone. There was no way it was possible, if these guys were as good as they claimed they were. Punching the wall next to him put of frustration and anger, "either you guys are at your jobs or you have a ing narc hiding out. And I want that dead."
"Did you fully check him for wires or anything?" Kouryu began pacing about the room trying to remember something from when he took that second to glance at the paper, but it only came out as gibberish to him. The schematics didn't line up with this building, because he was never supposed to be inside one of the places on ground floor. He shook his head, scowl on his face as he had to admit his own fault, "there was no point of me reading it, my position was never supposed to be blown the instant everything went down. I was supposed to be the cover fire, so that rat even managed to learn where I was supposed to be."
Rubbing the back of his neck to calm himself, he did not need to make this an argument when they still had to get out alive. And kill the bastards that set them all up, this was not something that'd scare their reputations. He'd be damned if he let those traitors get away alive. Looking over his bullet inventory once again, "anything's better than staying here like sitting ducks. Plus, I'm also out of ammo, if I have to fight with knives, I want to have the jump on them and give them less of a chance of hitting me at point blank range."
@r kouryu For a very long moment all Seonghwa heard was nothing, before slowly every sound came back to him almost knocking him out for a moment. “Idiots,” he growled, answering the question the other had spoken out aloud. They both were clearly pissed by the situation and they had every right to be.
“It surely wasn’t me,” Seonghwa groaned – he was just in charge to get this guy and make sure he got sold well, not to check he was able to get out information. “As far as I know he was locked up,” he then added, peaking outside of the door, only opening it slightly. “No idea how the he was able to get out a message, this was supposed to be secret.” And entirely safe from anyone’s eyes and ears or to be figured out by anyone who was not on the inside.
Closing the door, he looked around. “How are we supposed to get out?” he mumbled and looked at the hitman. “Do you know the blueprint of this place?” he asked, trying to remember the map. Though he was definitely not getting back the entire map or the place they were in. “I think there is a basement,” he then mumbled and looked around. They needed to get out, alive, after shooting that son of a .
@p seonghwa Looking to who ever grabbed him, if he wasn't already thinking on his toes, he probably would've made the mistake of fighting off the other. Following after to another room, the sound of an explosion sounding once the door had shut. Covering his ears as the ringing started, growling out, "who the brings grenades to a gunfight? It's ing bull."
Rubbing the spot just outside his ears to stop some of the noise and in hopes of gaining back more of his hearing. Backing away from the door a bit more, as he tried to get some bearings on their location. Looking to the trafficker in slight annoyance, "who the hell was in charge of watching that guy? How the did he even managed to get a message out to them?"
Probably wasn't the time to be arguing or talking, but he needed some answers. Now that some cop knew who he was, thankfully not his rank, but still it gave them something. If he had to, he was going to save his last bullet for that prick and take him to hell.
@r kouryu Despite having had shooting training, Seonghwa wasn’t a sharpshooter. And right now it showed. While he did manage to bury some bullets into someone’s body, he sadly missed more than he would like, his bullets running out way faster than he wanted. Rushing towards a door he managed to grab a gun someone had lost on the go and upon checking it, he realised he had a few more bullets left. “ing mess,” he cursed, quiet enough no one would hear him over the chaos that was unfolding right behind him. All he had to do was sell a damn person, they even had hired the Corvus guy whose name Seonghwa had long forgotten. To make sure that person survived – which they did – though it turned out they were an undercover agent and all Seonghwa wanted was to ing choke that piece of to death. They had seen their faces and he would surely make sure that would never tell anyone. Though they probably already had – but they would be the only one being able to testify in court so he needed them dead. Hurriedly he made it to another door, groaning when he saw it was not an exit either. Just when he was about to move on, he saw someone from the corner of his eyes. Without thinking he grabbed him – it was the Corvus guy – and dragged him towards an empty room. Closing the door. It had only been seconds before a grenade went off, causing a loud ring in his ears. “Son of a ,” he cursed, ducking down even though it had already gone off.
@p seonghwa Cursing to himself as he ducked behind a wall, waiting for a chance to return fire and find another route out. Cursing again, when more shots joined in. There was no going out that, officially covered by the police that were made the bust. Running towards another door, hoping that lead to somewhere that wasn't covered yet. His own stupidity was what got him into this mess, not having looked up the layout prior to coming out. Slamming the door behind him, as he ran deeper into the room to find a place to hide and catch his breath. Leaning against some stacked crates, that hid him but he had a clear shot of the door and some of the windows above. Quickly, taking inventory of what he had remaining before the storm continued, he did not want to be caught by surprise again if he ran out of bullets.
hello ^^
