Graveyard

@Justin M. ℬ∤ Klaus rubbed his arm even if the playful smack hadn’t been hard enough to actually hurt him. The feeling was just so real, too real, with the warmth of the other’s skin and the physical touch. How could this be? He disguised his confusion with a big, goofy grin and tilted his head to the side, pressing his palms against his own chest as if he couldn’t figure out what to do with his hands. “You’re right,” The words slipped out with a happy sigh as he looked at his brother. “but it would be the first time you actually listened to me.”

It wasn’t completely true, nevertheless it was always fun to tease the other even if they sometimes drove each other to insanity with their genuine differences. “Next time you’re going to disappear for days, make sure to warn me. It almost got lonely without your nagging. Heck, I can’t believe I even missed it.”

@Robert S. ℬ∤ was it all just a dream? everything that had happened before he found himself trapped within his brother's embrace was so surreal, were they even true? or were they just some kind of thing that happens to spirits who wander for too long in this realm? regardless of whatever reason it may be, he was just equally as happy as the almost sobbing klaus at this little "reunion". "uhh duh, who else could I be?" he sarcastically remarked while subtly holding the other males back, he didn't wanna let klaus now but he too feared that he wasn't gonna see his dysfunctional family anymore- like for good.

after a couple of sympathetic pat in the back, ben pulled away from the other's embrace, giving him a playfully smack on his arm, "as if I could really go anywhere on my own, klaus c'mon." the truth is he's just not sure whether he was somewhere he could call a 'place' or if it was even real. "I just took a time off, remember when you said you wanted to be alone?"

@Justin M. ℬ∤ Never had Klaus thought that the voice of his brother would fill him with such happiness as it did in that moment. The same voice he had so many times been considering a constant pain in the due to its tendency of arguing with many of his own questionable choices in life. “Ben?” Klaus pushed himself up from the ground when his eyes landed upon his lost brother, the corner of his eyes almost glistening from the small pearly tears clustering. The fear that he might have lost his brother for a second time was blown away like a leaf in the wind and he wrapped his arms around the slender body of Ben, for the moment still believing it was due to his growing abilities of conjuring spirits allowing him to touch a “ghost” like it was a normal human.

“I’ve missed you too,” said muttered Klaus in delight as if the other’s questions were asked before deaf ears and he released Ben from the tight embrace to hold him by his shoulders instead. “And you returned not a day too early! This soberness has not been kind to me but, you’re finally back at least. Where have you been?”

@Robert S. ℬ∤ after the events from when vanya almost caused another apocalypse in a different timeline, Ben thought to himself that all those years he had been holding on to their realm, he'd finally move on and be in a much better place. is there actually heaven and hell? where would he end up then? will he be exempted from all of the killing? all he knew is that helping his siblings for the last time had essentially cause him to feel accomplish, even if he's just a mere wondering soul who they couldn't see aside from his brother, klaus.

it felt like being submerged in a bathtub filled with ice. he kept shivering yet he couldn't feel anything- he was numb, and he couldn't see, was it dark? is he in hell? after a couple of questions later, he woke up from that trance-like state and he quickly sat up straight, his surroundings looked similiar; ahh his statue, wait "what?" he himself got momentarily confused when he heard a familiar voice, "klaus??!" he yelled back, jogging towards where it came from he found a kneeling klaus, he looked like a mess but heyy, when is he not? "what are you doing there? oh god, don't tell me you've been poisoning your body again!"

@Justin M. ℬ∤ How long had it been since the last time they had spoken? Weeks? Months? An eternity? Truth to be told it had only been a couple of days since Klaus had been able to lean on the brother who probably knew him the best, but he was certainly not counting. Had Ben finally decided to follow the light and leave the spirit world which Number Four had been having access to all this time or had the constant mixture of alcohol and pills finally made the now grieving man completely numb to his powers? Either way he was certainly missing his companion who had been standing with him through thick and thin for the last decade.

Klaus was now kneeling in the dirt of the graveyard, palms pressed against his temples to calm the raging headache from sobering up completely the last couple of days as if it would help him to conjure the spirit of his brother, completely unaware of his whereabouts. "Ben!" He called out in desperation, hating the loneliness the other man's absence was causing which now made him look like a fool. Mayhap it wasnt too far from the truth. "Come back, I miss you!"
