Katherine's life had always been full of sadness and oppression. From getting sent away to live in a house full of superhuman children by her real parents, getting mentally abused by Sir Reginald, isolated from the rest of the team and being shamed by the media for her less than average powers (or so all of them thought). That was until when all of you started to grow up that she started talking to you after years of being invisible to the rest of the team. You both start talking to each other and learn about each other's life experiences, as a hero yourself, and Kat, as a person who was isolated from the rest of the family.
After getting to know more about each other, you seem to complete each other and give each other support and words of affirmation. For once, Katherine has finally found her source of happiness after years of isolation and agony that she has gone through, it is you.

Stigma (BI member, angst, action, drama)

The Umbrella Academy aka The Bumbershoot Institute had always been seen as eccentric and odd to the public. But the institutionis stigmatized by a distinct group of people who believe that the institution poses more threats than it is to save the world. After the accident of Vanya almost ending the world, the stigma rose higher amongst the public and all the members of the academy were looked down by civilians. Except for sweet Katherine who had always been isolated from the rest of the family and media. Nobody knows how she looks like and the last time anyone has seen her picture was when you all were 10. But since you were a part of the team, everyone knows how you look like and you're prone to be discriminated by civilians.
One day, you and Kat decided to go out to hangout when civilians resist to serve you but they'll still serve Kat. Katherine confronts the person and I fight broke out and it got onto the news, which made Dad furious and disappointed by both of you.
