@Xiao Zhan ᵈᵃʸᶜᵃʳᵉ ᵃˢˢᶦˢᵗᵃⁿᵗ To say Yibo was irritated was an understatement, but what could he do when he was dealing with this man child? Yibo was more than sure Zhan would be taken captive by some aggressive Pokemon and turned into some human deviant if he left the older alone here and continued on his own way. Yibo had absolutely no confidence that Zhan would even be able to find his way back home. He huffed and reached into his bag, pulling out the can of Pokemon food. He poured out a small handful and held it out to Yamper, who sniffed at from his position in Zhan's lap. Though tempted, the Pokemon was much more concerned about his new trainer's mental breakdown, and it wasn't before Yibo delivered the food to his face that Yamper began to eat. "Yamper is like you." he noted dryly.

@Wang Yibo ᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉʳ Slowly, Zhan's sobs subsided (he forced them to). Also, it was pretty hard to keep crying as Peanut lapped at his hand, his small paws digging at Zhan's chest. The newborn Pokemon must be hungry, and Zhan couldn't neglect his new Pokemon just because Yibo upset him. He sobbed a couple more times, hiccuping between, and nodded. "You can't report me," he said again, this time more clearly than when he was bawling. "Peanut will get taken away and put up for adoption... or worse... /freed/." Zhan sniffled, still kneeling on the ground. "Yibo, can you please help me feed him?"

@Xiao Zhan ᵈᵃʸᶜᵃʳᵉ ᵃˢˢᶦˢᵗᵃⁿᵗ At first, Yibo thought that the distressed cries of panic were amusing, but the moment Zhan's decibel level went about 80, Yibo was already overcome with annoyance. He rolled his eyes as he heard Zhan's voice get deeper from the onslaught of tears, hugging onto the newly born Pokemon like it was a plush that he could squeeze without limit. "Hey...hey!" Yibo scolded, leaning back as if that would somehow reduce the noise level, "I was kidding, gosh." he said, now regretting his attempt to tease Zhan. From the way the older male was blatantly /sobbing/, Yibo wondered how he was going to calm him down. "I said I won't!" he repeated again, sighing, "Stop crying! NOW! If you don't, I actually will report you! GEEZ!"

@Wang Yibo ᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉʳ "No!" Zhan yelped immediately, even if it meant fessing up to his crime. He hugged Peanut to his chest, not wanting Yibo to take the Yamper to the police. "I'm not a thief!" Zhan cried vehemently, his knees digging into the grass beneath him, as if prepared for Yibo to drag him away. "I don't want to go to jail! Yibo, don't tell Officer Jenny, please! You can't!" Once the tears started, Zhan couldn't stop them. He couldn't bear with the thought of leaving Peanut, who was too young and too small to live on his own. Zhan put his free hand over his eyes, bawling at the image of poor Peanut, shivering alone in the rain. "You can't!" he howled loudly. "You can't, you can't, you can't!"

@Xiao Zhan ᵈᵃʸᶜᵃʳᵉ ᵃˢˢᶦˢᵗᵃⁿᵗ Yibo's suspicions were confirmed the moment Zhan opened his mouth. He didn't know whether to laugh or to yell, internally debating between which one would scare Zhan more. Eventually, he decided, and began to shake his head with a hardened expression on his face, "Xiao Zhan, how could you..." Yibo asked, deliberately taking his hand off the newborn Yamper. "You're a thief!" Yibo accused abruptly, pointing a finger in Zhan's face, himself leaning in so much he almost lost his center of gravity, "Do you know what happens to thieves when they get caught for something like /stealing/?" Yibo challenged, raising a brow, "They go to /jail/." he answered himself. Leaning back when he saw the absolute fear in Zhan's face, Yibo tapped a finger on his chin, musing, "If I told Officer Jenny you stole, she'd put you away for good. You'd never see the light of day again."

@Wang Yibo ᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉʳ Zhan was thrilled with the puppy Pokemon, so much that he already decided on a name for him: Peanut. The Yamper's beautiful brown coat of fur was reminiscent of the fragrant snack, and Zhan loved snacks. His smile faded quickly, however, at Yibo's question. Tightlipped, Zhan said nothing as he d the newborn Yamper and dug in his bag for treats and some water for him. "When you drop off a girl Yamper and a boy Yamper..." Zhan finally began, feeding Peanut straight from his palm. "There are eggs..."

@Xiao Zhan ᵈᵃʸᶜᵃʳᵉ ᵃˢˢᶦˢᵗᵃⁿᵗ Luckily for Yibo, Zhan did not talk as much as the younger expected him to. The walk was leisurely, and the fresh air helped Yibo breathe easier. Piplup got tired at times, and he had picked up partner up, almost scolding as he asked if it was better to be outside trekking or comfortable inside his Pokeball, to which he got a little wave of the shorter fin in response. Of course, Yibo knew that asking to maintain this peace and quiet forever would be impossible, but he didn't expect it to end so soon when Zhan suddenly jumped and raised his voice, scaring Yibo out of his blanking out, and causing him to jerk. He whipped around to face the older male, who had set his backpack down and somehow procured an egg from inside it. The Yamper that hatched made Yibo think that Zhan had only gotten himself a Skitty part 2, with its tongue lolled out and his eyes staring widely at Zhan in absolute adoration already. Still, the newborn Pokemon was very cute, and Yibo reached out a hand to pet it gruffly. Piplup and Skitty, on the other hand, had already clambered onto Yibo and Zhan's laps, eager to have a new friend. "Wait a minute..." Yibo finally noted as he pulled out his Pokedex, "When did you get a Yamper egg? How did you get one if your family doesn't even have Yamper?"

@Wang Yibo ᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉʳ "Oh, you're right," Zhan said, trying to avoid looking at the device on his wrist in case he ended up tripping on the route because of it. "Okay, show me later!" They continued the leisure walk down the grassy path, with Zhan enjoying the sunshine as they did. He hadn't ventured so far from home before, he thought with every step. He began to lose himself in his thoughts as they walked farther and farther away from the city. However, Zhan was quickly brought back to consciousness when his backpack gave a violent shake. He gasped, stopping Yibo. "Wait! Look!" Jian Guo and Piplup gathered around Zhan's backpack as he set it on the grass, flipping the top open. There, sitting on top of everything on his pack, was a trembling egg. It was coloured yellow, white, and brown, but the most prominent thing about it was a huge crack down the middle. Before anyone could say anything else, the egg burst, and a Yamper crawled out from between the two large halves of the shell. It looked at each of their faces in turn, then back at Zhan's and yipped. Zhan cheered, scooping the pokemon up into his arms. "Hi!!" he squealed, cuddling the puppy pokemon into his arms. Jian Guo pawed at Zhan's side, wanting to see what the commotion was about. "Yibo!! Look at this baby! Look at him!"

@Xiao Zhan ᵈᵃʸᶜᵃʳᵉ ᵃˢˢᶦˢᵗᵃⁿᵗ Yibo all but rolled his eyes as Zhan advised him about Piplup. They had not even journeyed an hour together yet, and here the older male was, nagging at Yibo like /he/ was the stupid one. Yibo frowned again as he saw Zhan's fingers twitching, and without wanting a repeat of the thieving incident that got him into this traveling predicament, he took out Piplup's pokeball from his belt and released his partner. "Well, guess you're walking," he said simply, to which Piplup gave him a little salute and soon fell in place alongside Jian Guo, the two taking the lead just a few steps ahead of Yibo and Zhan. Yibo secured his hat over himself to make sure that the sunlight would not burn his face, peering over at the C-Gear on Zhan's wrist. Of course his mom had to give Zhan a watch, he'd lose the device otherwise. "I'll show you later," he said, brushing the question off, "No calling while we're walking. It's, uhm, unsafe."
