@◇ s johnny "garbage? oh, give me a break, would you?" scanning the screen of her phone once more, at least hoping that in that short while of an inconvenience the latter had dragged on with, the gps had at least picked up on something. hell, anything that was even the slightest indication as to wherever they now were. but, ironically and much to lisa's displeasure, the attempt was just as the man had described. absolute garbage. almost nothing appeared to be working right, no updates were coming through and even the time itself had come to an odd and complete stop. "honestly, just stop it with that. i don't know what you're going on about or what sort of drugs are in your system but it's 2021 and tron, back to the future, or whatever you're tryna imitate isn't real. so cut the crap― /john/." if that was even his actual name, because if anything even that piece of information looked like it could've been fabricated from the get-go. the towering male's entire get-up to possibly always be an addition to the levels of confusion that's existed ever since she's regained consciousness, her head still pounded but thankfully so.. not as bad as it used to be. "a way out, i could only wi- oh- woah!" not even a proper moment's worth of notice beforehand and lisa is inevitably finding herself stuck with the strange man, without much of a choice or so as it seems. a mixture of displeasure and subtle pain rested upon her features as her gaze attempts to fix itself upon their surroundings; dark, gloomy and miserably well worn in dust, without a doubt. the setting itself earning a sigh to escape past her lips every so often, it isn't long before she just decides to speak out her thoughts, silence never really being anything that she preferred. at least, not all the time. "do you actually think we're the only ones here, or.. can there really be more of us?"
◇ m lalisa 3 years ago
@◇ s johnny "what. stick together? no, no. not a chance." it would truly seem as if the stranger that she was stuck with, well, johnny, was quite the formidable actor indeed. he had everything down to a t in absolute absurdity; from the entirety of his apparel to his mannerisms, everything truly seemed otherwordly. and although lalisa, herself, shouldn't have been one to judge in the first place― it was the ridiculousness of the mere situation that was just pushing her frustration to newer heights. and furthermore so, fewer constraints of a filter that she knew she could contain from time to time in the first place. the attitude of the towering male clashing with her own did not help one bit since the very beginning, and again it would surely be the sole thing that manages to tick her off, most especially once he has the audacity to take a dive for her phone. "hey, seriously? what gives you the right to touch my stuff- give that back!" she struggled at first in its retrieval, what with the male using his height and what little strength he had that overpowered hers to maneuver her own phone out of her reach.

but her struggle essentially shifted into trying to understand what exactly the male could be going on about because by this time around, she'd almost had enough trying to understand why every time he seemed to speak, it almost felt like greek to her. although she'd beg to differ as well, johnny did not seem to be bluffing one bit. "portal whatto? uh.. you're joking, right? do you not know what a phone is? or are you just taking a jab at the model of my phone- because if it ain't broke, don't fix it." lalisa could see her chance to snatch the phone right back, but the pure look of curiosity on the man's face almost as if he's genuinely coming face to face with a phone for the very first time made her hesitate. but fortunately enough, not all the way as she is soon to claim back what rightfully belongs to her, the phone inevitably embraced close to her chest. "you were supposed to, wipe." here was to hoping that whatever brought them here would have mercy, because with pairing these two up together out of nowhere? it was surely a recipe for disaster.
◇ j wooyoung [A] 3 years ago
@◇ k yeri with how strange their situation was, wooyoung was pretty oblivious to anything normal at that point, especially when it came to interactions. he has since adapted to his surroundings after his arrival, which more or less consisted of wandering around until something major happens. even then, finding other survivors was his feat of entertainment. he was part of the unofficial welcoming committee, so he might as well do his job correctly. well, technically, he is the boss considering he made it up on the spot.

he patted the seat right next to him, inviting the frightened girl to join him for a meal. "well, you're not going to survive here with a walkie talkie and a plushie, are you?" he cackled again, further explaining what he found humorous about her. he wanted to ask her about the bunny but thought otherwise, he really wasn't in the mood to sour his appetite by darkening the atmosphere. "what? i was here first. you stole my seat, and i saw you peeping through my briefcase. i had to get it before you stole anything. like the prized sandwich i was carrying, for example..." he pouted as he ed the case, slipping his hand inside to reveal said sandwich. "i didn't know that until now. imagine a scary-looking, terribly dressed lady approaching you. you'd want to hide too!" he reasoned as he put his bag aside and set his sandwich on his lap.

his eyebrow raised high as he judgemental glanced at her walkie talkie then back at her. he replied with a disapproving shake of his head. "i wouldn't throw it and break it if i were you. it helps you contact the other survivors. only an idiot would do that." he smiled as he halved his sandwich and offered it to her. "pleasure to meet you, yeri! as a truce, you can have half of my sandwich. i know what it was like arriving all scared and stuff so take it."

() no worries ! ^-^

@◇ s johnny “what a piece of work. crappy though.” she scoffed, rendered baffled from his incessant rambling at this point. keep up with the game of charades now would he? it was probably amusing in its own sort of way at first; considerably like something straight out of a thriller flick with the strong sense of impending doom lurking at every corner. but lalisa could no longer be appeased, not even in the sense that she used to be one so keen on the thrill. once the girl was tired, nothing else could fit in her agenda except some soothing moments of peace with sleep. now that she was far as can be from her bed, needing it the most, her patience was certainly wearing thin.

“oh, to hell with you– go be someone else’s problem, /i/ will find my own way back myself.” and it was with that she’d finally spring her phone out, already putting the gps app to work, except.. even with the connection she would usually get, it refused to respond. not giving her the slightest clue of just where they were located, further increasing the frustration that she felt which escaped through groans of miserableness as she’d walk from one spot to another. “come on, come ooon. now it’s just straight up bugging- i can’t be stuck here. wherever this is. not with..” she peers up at the literal man of steel, grimacing to much of her displeasure for him. “him, tsk.”
◇ m lalisa 3 years ago
@◇ s johnny absolutely nothing made sense to lalisa, or at least for as far as she was capable of comprehending at the moment. however, if there was anything that would be holding her line of focus? surely, it was the latter’s entire getup. she shook her head, eyes closing shut to the rather odd flashes of light that cascaded around his entire outfit just truly outshining everything else in the vicinity. her head did still hurt, but this only seemingly made things worse because, “good god.. they have me stuck with an extra from the tron movie now?” lisa ultimately got up, dismissing his help because she did not trust the male one bit.

everything within the given scenario, including her new companion, seemed off and she refused to let her guard down, even if just for a little bit. “no, no– who the are /you/. and why have you brought me here.” wanting to come up with any possible reason as to why she was indeed where she was, all ends lead to a sick joke. one surely bent out of the hatred society surely held for those of her kind, supposed outcasts who were unworthy of any sort of acceptance whatsoever especially if they looked remotely different.

“i’ll give you.. alright, a b- minus for setting everything up, but this has got to end. i’ve gotta head back.” putting her hands together for a slow, and clearly disinterested clap– her eyes remained stuck on the towering male, keeping observant no matter how much it may throw one off in the cold department. surely, he knew more than he let on.

@◇ s johnny like any other given day, the young tattoo artist was left to close the shop with her sights set on heading home, and by the very least getting a shut-eye. where eventually, tomorrow would be yet another long day of tending to aisles of clients. however, much sooner than she’d ever intended to see within her vicinity of work, all the lights would simultaneously shut, a mysterious fog of obsidian would fill the air— and suddenly there was nothing. silence, absolute darkness. at least, for a short while.

what came next would only be the excruciating pain that reverberated through lisa’s lithe body, keeping the girl in place for a solid while, almost willing her to stay put in the ominous daze that she was stuck in. it wasn’t like the mere tantalising sensation of a horrid hangover after a good night’s worth of drinks, instead, something unexplainable— supernatural almost.

it was as if she was stuck in a pit of her own menacing thoughts, until.. a voice rings through her ears and a rather unfamiliar one at that. as her eyes are fluttering open, albeit the subtle struggle, lisa’s gaze ultimately falls upon a male figure by her side. the temporal grogginess, eventually confusion, rendering the tattoo artist to speak up after some time with a hand to clutch at her temple. “ugh, what’s- what’s happened?..”

@◇ k yeri wooyoung tried his best to be as discreet as possible. he even made sure to only let his hand hover over the bench instead of fully touching around in case he accidentally alerted the woman who claimed his seat. he knew where he left it too so it wasn't too much trouble bringing it back and walk away as if nothing happened. yet, he was found out quicker than he'd like and had his / designer / briefcase thrown at his arm.

"ouch! hey!" he whined as he retracted his arm back with a few comforting rubs. although it didn't hurt as much as it looked, there was only the sandwich he made inside, it still hurt his pride. he peered his head enough to clearly examine the individual with an uneasy gulp. sure, they didn't sound threatening but who knows they could still wield a weapon. his eyes slid downwards at her 'weapon' expecting the worse but it turned out to only be her walkie talkie. a smile crept onto his face proceeding to make him fall completely onto the grass in a fit of laughter.

"oh my god, that's hilarious!" he breathed, his arms wrapping around his stomach to help stop the chuckles from flooding through. "a walkie talkie? seriously?" he continued as he fully stood up, hair disheveled with leaves and cheeks sprinkled with red from laughing too hard. "sit, sit. oh, i'm wooyoung. not sorry for startling you, you sorta did it to me first." he stuck out his tongue as he made way to the bench, finally reuniting with his poor neglected briefcase. "i was worried you were a killer or something. we got to get you some new clothes, seriously. otherwise people will get the wrong impression, we don't want that." he smiled as he took back his seat with his posture soon relaxed.

() ASIJADISIAS i mean i would too u/u if i saw a figure in the dark i'd yeet LOL
◇ j wooyoung [A] 3 years ago
@◇ k yeri with a hand hovering over his mouth, wooyoung huffed out a hefty yawn while his other hand clenched onto the handle of his suitcase. once he overcame that moment of exhaustion, he continued to venture into the park with heavy and sluggish steps. lately, he attempted to find an evergreen oasis to cater to his luxurious needs but to no avail; he'd have to it up and settle it at a gloomy subdued park, at least for now. in short, it was unfair to think that the chaebol that used to have everything he wanted now has his privileges dry just as simple as that. it begged the question of whether the entity truly was the devil himself, his father, or something plain sadistic.

he hummed in thought as he occupied a bench about to pull his food out when sudden footsteps nearby startled him, halting him in his tracks. he jumped straight into a bush, hoping to make sense of the situation before deciding his next move. a distressed woman with their silky garb all soaked in mud, a waste in his mind, sauntered into the park and claimed the bench he recently left for to hide. he peered his head just a smidge to quietly observe until he realized one minor detail: his food. instead of standing up to announce his presence, he sat hidden in the bush awkwardly with his arm reaching out so he could retrieve his bag and hopefully leave in one piece. to be fair, she looked quite frightening so for his own safety, he'd best flee but... he did fail to try to be sneaky.

@◇ s dongju The softness in the male's voice made Seulgi worry. She didn't want to assume, but it did seem like something happened with him– something that made him think and say all these things. "Mhm, I'm sure that they worry." The female did feel half and half on his words. She isn't sure if time did go faster, slower, or stopped in their timelines. What if the only thing that kept her going wasn't there anymore when she goes back? "Even if they don't, then we'll be remembering each other," she mumbles before realizing what she said. An awkward laugh erupts from before she shakes her head. "Okay, that sounds stupid, don't mind me."
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju Breaking out of her thoughts, Seulgi turns to the male as he starts to talk once more. She starts with a hum as new thoughts fill her mind. Maybe he is curious as to why she's set on returning to their original world? Her hand finds its way to her neck, thumbing the small necklace around it– a little habit of hers when she's thinking back home. "In my case, they are worth it." Her answer is short and simple as she decides to add more, "And I don't want them to worry more than they already do."
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju The bitterness of the male's expression and tone did not go unnoticed to Seulgi. He may have thought she was stupid, but hey, she is. Her hand is on her cheek, rubbing it gently. "You're right," she says, agreeing with him for the nth time for today. "Wouldn't want myself to get hurt or worse, to experience death itself." She facepalms herself before thinking to herself that she's out of it. Is she really? Maybe it was the world she's in that she's not thinking straight? Why would she even think of getting hit in this world?
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju Seulgi only hums in reply before she glances over at the male, seeing him laid out on the grass. His words make her think. 'Maybe I will get used to it soon? Though I won't know until it hits me truly, right? Most likely, I won't be able to forget the pain of it.' She wonders as she takes a while to reply. After what seems to be a minute or two, her lips part to admit, "I'll have to take a bunch of hits before I get used to that feeling." She didn't experience getting hit except when her grandmother had to scold her with a few smacks for doing something wrong.
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju 'Even once is painful. Perhaps it was similar to the pain she felt when she lost her parents.' She sighs quietly before pursing her lips. "I'll make sure to be careful not to experience death in this world." Her determination rises as she thinks back to her previous days. She nods, "I did experience that fear before." Thoughts of her going through places to take pictures that would make people in awe flashes in her mind. There are times that she would go alone with nothing but her trusty camera, and it felt like once she presses the button, she would get attacked from behind. A shiver runs through her spine as she thinks back to those times. "Why do you ask?"
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju Seulgi rids the thoughts of herself dying by shaking her head. She can't let them plague her mind. "I know. I believe in what you said that day," she replies as she looks over to the male. Maybe that was his way of worrying over her? She assumed it to be before she hums. "I'll try to. I wouldn't want to experience death over and over again." Her hand grasps the grass beneath her, tugging it gently. 'But then again, she wouldn't want people to experience it the same.' Though those words that came next, she keeps it to herself.
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju Seulgi lets out a sigh of relief as she nods. "That's good to hear." The laugh that escaped the male comforts the female as she continues to smile before her expression turns into a surprised one over his next words. Despite the harshness, she nods at it, agreeing with it. "Now that you say it, it does seem like that. I never thought of it in that way." She rubs her nape as she chuckles, "I know that you're supposed to focus on yourself rather than others, but seeing the others being the way that they are? It's like a switch in me turns on, and I worry automatically."
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju With wide eyes, Seulgi raises her hands before waving them almost frantically at the male. "I'm not disappointed! I'm actually relieved to see you here rather than other beings. I'm sorry that I made you think that way," she says as she bows her head in apology. Her head tilts to the side before she lets out a hum, "It's not that I experienced something like this before. It's quite foreign to me." Bringing her legs closer, she continues, "I don't want the others to lose their composure more if they see me lose it too." She gives him a small smile as she shrugs slightly.
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju A hum escapes from Seulgi's lips, a reply to Al's words. She isn't sure why she suddenly decided to sit near the male. Maybe because being alone is something that she wanted to avoid at the moment. Her reason for being at the park is to relax and find something that she could perhaps observe. "Hm?" She tilts her head towards the male before talking again, "Ah, you're right, I'm not here to find you. I was only walking around and heard noises. It turns out that it's only you." She thinks to continue her little walk in a bit before the female turns her attention to the sky next as she waits for his words.
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju Seulgi winces visibly at the sound that came from the male before her lips pour out an apology. "I'm sorry! I wasn't sure how to call you out. I should've let you know first that it was me from afar before I moved closer to you." She rubs her nap as her head moves to take a peek, checking the result of her actions. This will be a lesson for upcoming meetings with her fellow survivors. "I'll take that in mind next time. Hopefully, it isn't hurting too much, Al," the female says as she sits on the grass, giving him a decent personal space.
◇ k seulgi 3 years ago
@◇ s dongju "I swear this world is going to give me a heart attack soon," Seulgi mutters to herself as she walks at the park. As much as she wants to escape this place, the reason why she's here is something that made her feel curious. She shrugs before a laugh emerges from the now not-so-quiet park. Alarms go off in her brain that she automatically hides at a bush. Taking a peek, the female squints at her surroundings before she catches the figure of a familiar face. "Oh, it's Al. That's a relief." After making sure that it is only the male, she emerges from her hiding spot before approaching him.
