@◇ k seulgi sunmi's movement quickened, although her appearance was safely hidden by the heavy foliage of the forest, she was still able to navigate through as her eyes never left the stranger's figure. due to her prey's hesitation, it made it all the bit easier for her to close in the space between them. she followed directly beside her this time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. with her eyes peering through, she lurks quietly. now. she lifts her tridents up high as soon as she was close enough to her person. she then struck at her legs in a swift motion as blood from the sudden attack started to spew downwards. the injury wasn't as deadly as one might think, only really hindering her speed. as she planned to continue chasing her, she disappeared further into the forest, watching from afar for her next move. "run." soft as a whisper but loud like a command, she warned her followed by soft cackling.
@◈ l sunmi ᵗʰᵉ ˢᶦʳᵉⁿ Seulgi's eyes dart from left to right as she thinks of a way to meet up with Lisa again. It's a sad sight to see that every path seems to be the same as the last. She bites her lower lip but not enough to draw blood out as she thinks harder this time around. The panic in her increased as she could hear the random noises surrounding her. 'Perhaps it was just the wind,' she assures herself in her mind before the thought of another being hiding in the bushes, waiting for the right time to hurt and kill her, fills her thoughts. With a shake of her head and a deep breath, the photographer moves quickly this time, determined to escape whatever is with her and to find her partner.
@◇ k seulgi as soon as sunmi heard a voice heading her way, she decided to close in. she took a few steps forward but paused in caution as the figure grew closer. she expected a possible intersection fairly soon, judging by the distance of the person's voice. she let out a short hum, getting slightly excited as her plan seemed to be working. she waited with prying eyes on her target, fingers tightening around her trident as she prepared to strike. however, she let her get a head start, passing her by tens of feet before her cautious steps fastened and fastened. the rustling of the leaves followed her every move, becoming restless as seconds flew by. to not give her location away just yet, her figure hunched behind the foliage. she wanted her to guess what was chasing her, frankly, excited to hear the theories seeing as how vocal she was talking to herself a second ago.
@◈ l sunmi ᵗʰᵉ ˢᶦʳᵉⁿ Seulgi didn't notice herself, but she had strayed a fair distance from Lisa. She was too focused on exploring and searching that she had failed to check on the other female for an average time period. "Hey, do you think we'll be all right?" The photographer asks her non-existent partner quietly as she looks through the bushes. Few minutes have passed, and Seulgi couldn't help be confused as it was her first reaction when she didn't get an answer from her partner. 'How did we separate? This is bad,' she thinks as this time, she searches for Lisa. She breathes deeply to calm herself as she makes her way through the forest alone... or so that's what she assumes.
@◇ p seonghwa "pleasure to meet you, seongi." wooyoung snorted into a laugh. "good, as long as you're able to catch one." it wasn't at all what he was expecting. if seonghwa was so inexperienced in surviving out in the forest, why would he come to his rescue? perhaps out of curiosity, or did he needed some company? he'll be sure to ask him later. "they said to survive the night, and i'd get their respect in return, which is a lot to ask for these days. since a lot of the survivors rely on the older ones, i want people to know that i have leadership skills and the brains if we all were lost somewhere. they'd be so grateful to have me when i show off my survivability. just they wait." he blurted as he spotted a tiny light off into the distance. "there you see that! i think that's my fire." he smacked seonghwa on the shoulder a few times, then pointed at the flickering gleam.
@◇ j wooyoung Wooyoung, he kept the name in mind. "Seonghwa," he replied to him with a nod. Wooyoung isn't all that bad, sure he came off a bit disdain earlier, but maybe he could let that slide off so long the guy doesn't do anything out of the ordinary. "Not the best at it, but I could try." Seonghwa responded. He obviously did not agree to any of this yet here he is complying anyway. "By the way, what did the other person exactly dared you to do? Other than camp out here in the forest." he asked, curious about the whole dare thing that got both him and Wooyoung (mostly Wooyoung) in this situation. Surely there's more to it than what was already mentioner by the other, right?
@◇ p seonghwa wooyoung was pleasantly surprised to find the stranger relating to his reasoning instead of bonking his head and calling his decision idiotic. it felt relieving in that kind of way. "anyway, i should introduce myself since we'll be keeping each other company all night. i'm wooyoung. you are?" he smiled as he blinked upwards at him with high expectance. "oh, if you know how to fish, that'd be great for breakfast while i look for eggs." he added, clearly getting ahead of himself on his own. he never once set foot in the forest during his life as a chaebol, but it was certainly a lot more entertaining with someone else around; so he was excited in a strange way.
@◇ j wooyoung His pride, huh? Fair enough, Seonghwa had his fair share of doing things for the sake of his pride, so who was he to judge this man? Even if it was for a dare, Seonghwa could see himself doing just that if it meant it was to prove a point. "I see," he nodded his head, continuing to listen to the other's rambling. Impressive? From his experience with people who had ever use that word, they always ended up being nothing but disappointing but he'd rather not build an expectation through this man's words nor from anyone at all. He had learned that the hard way before.
@◇ p seonghwa wooyoung was pleased to hear the stranger agree, not like he didn't expect as much. "if we walk straight, we'll get there in no time. i had a fire set up, so it shouldn't be that hard to find it." he pointed enthusiastically as if their current situation didn't invite the deadliest creatures of the night, wolves, bears, jaguars, or even dragons?! none of that mattered as he felt safe being with someone after having no contact aside from the walkie talkie. his eyebrow arched in the other's direction.
"you're going to think that it's stupid, but my pride was on the line." he prefaced before going in with a heavy breath in. "someone dared me to." he rambled as he breathed out. "i'm perfectly fine, but you've arrived at a good time. i did sort of lost my way hearing a bunch of massive birds flying away. anyway, you'll see how impressive my camp is you wouldn't want to leave." he boasted as he walked towards the direction he hoped was the right path. "this way!"
@◇ j wooyoung Support him? Seonghwa blinks in confusion, the only reason why he went all the way here was to 'help' him because he assumed that this guy got lost or something like that. Snapping himself out of it, Seonghwa bent down to retrieve his flashlight from the ground. 'You can make yourself useful,' he resisted the urge to scowl at that, his facial expressions remained neutral. Sure, whatever, might as well accompany the stranger than going back alone.
"Okay," he answered, pointing the flashlight towards the path where the other male had come from. "You mentioned a camp, why are camping here?" the dark-haired male asked. 'And here I thought you got lost and needed some help' he thought to himself, not wanting to say that out loud to the other.
@◈ l sunmi ᵗʰᵉ ˢᶦʳᵉⁿ@◇ k seulgi “a mirror’s the only thing my mind is able to wrap itself around at the moment, we’ve gotta hope for the best and just search on.. i guess?” once her fellow teammate also seems to have spotted the flickering light her eyes managed to catch a little while earlier, lisa’s expressions do not falter in capturing the immense doubt that she felt at that moment. her moments of silence probably saying so much more than she ever could as she peered on at the prominent flicker of light that shone in their way. “ah.. i really want it to be. but don’t you think it’s appearing to us way too soon? i would have thought we had to struggle a bit more before actually obtaining our object.” consider the young tattoo artist a little paranoid, but it did not hurt to be careful and of course, cautious of the things and let around people in her surroundings. seulgi might have been her teammate, but even then she didn’t really know what she was like behind this entire game they seemed to be stuck in. regardless of that, a perceptive mind was often rewarding and lalisa would have at least hoped that her judgement had it out in their favour. “we could check it out but, i still don’t know. i think i’d be more into searching for that cabin the note was telling us about?”
@◈ l sunmi ᵗʰᵉ ˢᶦʳᵉⁿ@◇ m lalisa Seulgi's eyes widen in surprise at the sudden appearance of new words. With a blink of an eye, the note is filled with more. 'This world is quite weird,' she thinks to herself as she continues to blink a bunch, not believing yet what she witnessed just now. "A mirror? Well, it is possible," the photographer mumbles to her teammate before she catches something from the corner of her eyes– a light that seemed to make her want to cover her orbs. After placing her hand near her eyes, she turns to Lisa before speaking, "There's a flicker of light. Do you think that it's the mirror?" It is possible that it could be the item they're supposed to find, but there was no guaranteed that it is.
@◈ l sunmi ᵗʰᵉ ˢᶦʳᵉⁿ@◇ p sooyoung@◇ k seulgi back in the day when she was much younger, lalisa was always so fond of reality shows that would often test the capabilities of their contestants; she remembered just how much she had wanted to be able to join something similar one day, thinking that she might just be able to handle certain situations better than most given her affinity for the thrill. but now that she was stuck here, with the unlikeliness of ever returning home? it truly did hit different, lisa wondered if it was ever as scary as this on television. but, speaking of things that would reflect, it wouldn't be long before something does manage to catch her line of vision by the corner of her eye and she almost does take a step forth just to check. this could've been their mystery item after all and their search could've long been over but.. hold on, wasn't it a little too easy all of a sudden?
in no time she quickly snaps out of her momentary reverie just to check in on the girls once more. "oh, damn- but yeah? so in a way, maybe it would've been a better move for us to get to higher ground if anything so th-" her speech is put to a halt once the jade coloured note in their hands suddenly begins to tingle in tidbits, and before they even knew it new clues had been bestowed upon them, much to lisa's surprise indeed. "woah, do you see this? i don't know what to feel right now, but.. do you think we could be searching for a mirror? i'm taking a look at the new words here and they could relate somehow in the sense where 'words' are what manipulate the experience of looking into a mirror. if we were to take someone's judgement on our appearance or something like that, i don't know.."
( ) got a little carried away i believe sksksk please do not be pressured to try and match lengths cries.
@◇ p seonghwa wooyoung was a little too busy setting up his camp that he completely ignored any walkie talkie calls. he must've used so much of his focus that whatever made him want to run made him directly confront it with a short bang. he felt ultimately cowardly as his hands clenched together and shook in fear. however, a familiar voice awoke his tantrum, and just with a short upward glance, all of his worries melted right away.
"oh, it's you! the guy on the walkie talkie! did you come to support me?" he chimed before embarrassment finally set foot on his expression. "oh, whoops." he laughed awkwardly while stepping away from the warmth of the stranger's chest, his focus soon stolen by his flashlight. he patted around his body to find his own. yet still, to no avail, both his walkie talkie and his trusty flashlight were back at the camp, soon realizing he did just run in the complete darkness like a loon.
"i must've left my flashlight back at the camp i set up. anyway, since you're here, you can make yourself useful and guide me there. it shouldn't be that far." he laughed, albeit a bit uneasily since he didn't really know how to navigate the forest well enough.
@◇ p sooyoung@◇ m lalisa@◇ k seulgi sunmi was all for games, she was pretty competitive when it came to variety game shows, and even with a team, she mainly focused on her survivability. this was no different. the entity personally invited the killers to scour around and interrupt the survivors. this was a straightforward cat and mouse game she was excited to participate in. before she started to pounce on her prey, she had to think of a strategy. she didn't want to attack them all together as that would ruin the hunt, so she had to find a way to get the three to separate. she overheard their conversation as she silently navigated through the forest and took refuge by a dense bush now a bit away from the group. she luckily landed on a spot where the late afternoon light hit her features, perfectly sculpting the enticed gleam of her eyes. shortly, she replaced those eyes with her beloved trident, letting it shine through and reflect to capture one of the girl's attention with a steady of her breath.
() ok if sooyoung doesn't reply after mine then the entity will give you guys a clue uvu
just try to wait for her and the entity's clue before replying ok loves <3
@◇ p sooyoung@◇ m lalisa A shiver runs down Seulgi's spine as Lisa mentions a horror movie; her mind flashes with imagines of them getting ambushed before she shakes her head, removing thoughts that may hinder their progress. She nods at the other girls before she leans to check the note. "Right, I agree that it could be something shiny," she mumbles softly while her hand reaches to rub her nape, curious about what may shine in the night. Honestly, the photographer isn't too smart when it comes to this type of thing, but hey, they have three brains to use for thinking. She continues as she points at one part of the note, specifically the branch. "Perhaps this clue is somewhere tied up or placed on the branches, right? Though it could be something that can be seen way up high too."
@◇ j wooyoung Receiving no answer after a few more calls, Seonghwa thinks that either the guy is far too deep into the forest that he couldn't hear him or that this guy was simply just messing around with him. Either way, Seonghwa got himself into this for willing himself to go out and help a stranger out in the middle of the night without any second thoughts.
So, if anything happens to him, it's partly his fault.
Seonghwa halted when he hears rustling in the bushes. He shone his flashlight there and was momentarily distracted that he was a few seconds late when he finally hears another noise coming from up ahead--the sounds of hurried footsteps and a shout.
Something or someone then came crashing down against him that made him let go of his flashlight and almost lose his balance. Surprised, Seonghwa looked down to see another man clinging to him. This isn't something he expected to happen. "Uhm... Can you please let go of me?" he asked as politely as he can despite feeling awkward.
@◇ p seonghwa wooyoung was shivering, not because of the cold as he successfully or miraculously made a fire, but because of fear. when making that bet with that catty survivor, he had it in the bag, but now that he was experiencing it himself, it was much more nerve-wracking than he initially thought. as soon as he heard crows fly off into the distance, he had a gut feeling that someone was drawing near his base, so he had to make a move before that thing consumed his 'camp' that consisted of a flimsy set-up tent with a pillow underneath and the small fire he made. he jolted straight out of there, getting lost pretty quickly while glancing back at the fire of his camp as a way to navigate. unfortunately, it didn't last as one final look, and it completely vanished. "wah!" clearly distracted, he bumped into a figure, but instead of finding a place to hide, he clung to its body. he was not thinking straight as he cowered in fear.
@◇ p sooyoung@◇ k seulgi if there was any way to accurately pinpoint what lalisa felt at the moment, then surely it would be at ease. however, compare it with the tenacity of the ocean’s breeze that would allow smooth sailing but also have the tendency to grow chaotic at any given minute. things didn’t seem to be so bad now that she had a group to get things done with, and hopefully, figure much else along the way— but the impending sense of doom did not cease one bit. that was how the young tattoo artist was looking at things, her gaze averting every so often from the jade coloured riddle in her hand to the path of uncertainty ahead that the three walked further and further into. “i think.. that might be the best thing to do just to search around quicker, but at the same time i don’t wanna have it end up like some horror movie cliché if you get what i’m tryna say.” she made a look, one fused of mild discomfort for what might as well be for the obvious reasons. “maybe before we set out, we oughta have a clearer idea of what we’ll be on the lookout for? because if we look at our riddle.. here-” the note is moved more towards the other girls so they too could have a better look. “i was thinking something shiny? or at least can catch light.”
@◇ j wooyoung Heading out into the forest, Seonghwa turns his flashlight on as it was getting dark outside. He still doesn't understand why that guy in the call decided that it was a good idea to go out into the forest at this time of the day but more importantly, being alone by himself out there. Stepping on a twig, a loud cracking sound can be heard which disturbed the crows above the trees. They cawed loudly and flew away. "Anybody here?" Seonghwa called out as he wanders deeper into the forest, making sure to mark a tree every now and then with spray paint so he would know his way out and not get lost like the other guy (he assumed).
@◈ l sunmi ᵗʰᵉ ˢᶦʳᵉⁿ@◇ p sooyoung@◇ m lalisa Seulgi scratches her head in thought before sighing. The forest is quite a vast place to search, yet it doesn't stop her. Pursing her lips, the sounds of swaying leaves and the chirping of the crows are loud as she walks with the group. Her head turns to glance at her other groupmates, which luckily are girls as well. Not that she has anything against the boys, but it's easier to get along with her fellow gals from her experience. She smiles at them as she waits for them to start talking. After a few minutes of silence, she couldn't help but talk. "Do you think we should split up or stay together for now?" The photographer starts as she looks at them, observing their reactions to the question she asked.
@◇ f nicholas sunmi wasn't much of a fan when it came to fine arts, always opting for the nearest literary novel than anything, but she remained quite interested as she observed further. not to mention that she and, safe to say, the stranger didn't have many forms of entertainment so anything out of the norm would naturally pique her interest. she continued to decipher the photo's outcome, taking a few steps backs as he carefully set up the scene before her then slowly inched his camera closer. the flower she quietly placed was incorporated with the deceased subject which made her pretty pleased despite self-inviting herself to the impromptu project. "i'm out for a stroll and was headed towards the beach until i decided to take a little bit of a detour. i wanted to see what you're super engrossed in. i do apologize if i seem a bother, i don't see many among these parts." a gaze fell on him, examining his features and tense posture coiling over at the sight of the unfortunate creature. he seemed like a fairly intriguing fellow, she concluded. "and what about you?"
@◇ f nicholas it wasn't unlike sunmi to waltz into the forest as it was the fastest way to navigate to the beach. plus, she didn't feel unsafe roaming around the area knowing that immortality was a thing she shared among the rest of the residents living in the mysterious realm. with a flower she picked off at the beginning of her journey, she made her way through the dirt path with a leisurely pace. she didn't expect anyone to bump into her but she did find the sort the further she explored. as she heard the shutter of the camera, a sound she's all too familiar with being an idol, she decided to investigate in the hope to cure her immense curiosity. as the stranger focused on the bird, she slipped her flower beside it to add to its already busy backdrop. "unfortunate." she whispered to finally announce her presence.
@◇ s dongju shinwon grins as dongju turns to look up at him. "ooh, there's some confidence," he says, walking around the tree to be in front of dongju instead of behind him. he lowers himself and sits on his haunches across from the other, watching him plainly. "not much of a home, is it?" he reaches down to pick up a twig from the ground before tossing it somewhere else, shrugging once. "i was looking for some birds to study. did you pass the nest over there?" as he speaks shinwon points over dongju's shoulder back the way he came. "it's not that far. there are some very noisy finches in the tree. small and cute, like you."
[] that's okay !!! i don't mind you can take as long as you want asdkfjls
@◇ s dongju "I see," she nodded her head. "Just exploring," Jiwoo leaned against the tree beside her, feeling the roughness of its bark digging against the skin of her arm. That was it, she was just exploring—there's nothing more to it than what it is. Jiwoo wasn't much of a talker and she could tell that this guy isn't one either. Maybe she could explore elsewhere and not be a disturbance to him.
() it's okay snsns tmw idk if these two can really interact if they're both like this u_u
@◇ s dongju there's a dead bird on the ground. a baby, with soft down feathers and tiny little legs, and a hole in its stomach where its organs used to be. shinwon kneels down to pick up the small carcass, and listens to the other birds in the nest above his head. brothers and sisters, and mother. he places the dead bird in his sweater pocket and walks further into the forest, wondering if he'll find anything else interesting. he does, but instead of another bird, he finds a person - someone familiar. "hello there," he says, smiling as he comes up behind the other and leans against a tree. "it's been awhile."
[] dkhfjdsk i'm sry if this - pls feel free to respond with as much or as little as you like !
@◇ s dongju Jiwoo had a few (read: a lot) shares of bad decisions in life and exploring in a place that was unfamiliar and eerie had been added to the pile. Maybe she'll get attacked, maybe she'll get kidnapped and maybe she'll even get killed during her exploration but she couldn't bring herself to care about all those things. Caring about herself had been thrown out of the window from a long time ago, she doesn't care what happens to her. The female found herself wandering off into the forest outside of town, dried leaves and twigs crackling under her combat boots as she walks. She didn't think she'll find someone in a place like this but alas, from a few meters away there was a male who appears to be in his early twenties sitting on a log in the middle of the forest. "Hey, what are you doing all alone out here?" she asked in a calm voice while carefully approaching the other.

Hi!
I'd love to reserve Huang Zitao (aka Tao) for my frist character, if I could!
I do gotta let you know that I only play , so I hope that's alright ;; not that this is a relationship-heavy or -heavy RP but it still applies bc my brain is weird, i guess?
