You know, even if I am, we can still have a round or two- the pups are sleeping well.

Ah well, I'm familiar with this routine kind of from my own experiences with peeing on the stick, this is the same thing really, just a cup not a stick.
Chortling a little before taking up the seat and waiting patiently, hearing the doctor say he will run a quick test and to wait about ten minutes.

Oh really now? Have you seen some teens these days in the human world? They look so... old, when they slap on that make up they think looks good.
Shuddering a bit but leaning into your welcomed warmth.
They are doing their job. And decently too. I can't fault them, I just prefer the simple jab and be done with it.
Admitting with a hum out, relaxing for the few minutes it takes for my name to be caller by a doctor, getting up with you in tow and preparing for to be jabbed for a blood test; taking the urine cup with me into a bathroom to get a sample and bringing that back too rather swiftly.

They're do a blood test, and make me do the whole pee on the stick thing as well even though the second isn't guaranteed to give the correct result compared to the first.
They like to be painfully thorough, but it's alright. I really want to know.

Wondering softly, keeping a softer tone so not to disrupt the waiting room, smiling while guiding you to the counter and waiting for a reception nurse.
I don't often come here, since I usually just trust my gut a lot, but it would be nice to have more solid information sooner instead of randomly finding out I've gained a lot of baby weight.
Laughing gently, greeting the nurse and explaining what we're there for today, politely nodding when asked to take a seat for a few minutes while awaiting the main doctor.
