@? ⋮ ❛ k. jiwoo｡ today's the day he finally begins this new challenge; grocery shopping himself and cooking a recipe—learning how to cook. he dreaded the task, being poorly skilled in it, but quite frankly, his depleting bank statements said otherwise. also, if he finally had a few pre-made meals, he wouldn't have the need to go to yeongwon's restaurants at ungodly hours of time, a prime example being of yooth, the noodle shop he constantly went to. lastly, he was what he ate, and while eating the same things was great for his taste buds, he could feel the lack of variety starting to get to him physically. thus, here he was, picking out fresh ingredients, when he felt something hug around his leg. internally, he was alarmed, tense and vigilant for whatever was suddenly latched to him. however, when jaehyun heard the sound of a soft giggle, he let go of his nerves slightly, before looking down. an adorable toddler, peering up at him, while her small, short arms were wrapped around his leg. the toddler then plopped down her bum onto his shoe.

jaehyun smiled at the child. her cute, bubbly cheeks and the way her eyes crinkled into crescents as she let out another laugh was absolutely irresistibly adorable. "do you want to go up? up, up, up~" he told the toddler, pointing up with this finger, trying to raise his voice to make it more-friendly sounding. jaehyun then quickly glanced around at his vicinity, trying to see if he could spot anyone frantically looking for their missing child. there was no one. "we go up, okey dokey?" jaehyun said to the child once more, who thankfully was reaching up with her arms, asking to be held. he crouched down slightly, before picking up the toddler into his arms, taking a good look at her face. up close, the toddler was of course even more of a bundle of joy. "let's go find your parents, hmm? your mom and dad." he told her, who just blew a raspberry at him, before laughing at herself hilariously. to humor the child, he too stuck out his tongue, and copied her action.

@ꕤ ⋮ ❛ i. changkyun｡ i follow you towards an empty table before i sat down on a chair from across from you, taking out my bag of chips and soda from my grocery bag. i open my bag of chips then my soda, giving a glare at you as i listen to your words.
excuse me? you're also the reason why we kicked out, get that right ok? if you would've just given me the ramen, we wouldn't be having this problem huh? my finger touched the ramen first just to remind you once again.
i roll my eyes at you, munching on some chips.

jiwon has been restless ever since her television broke down on her. it was the day of her favorite drama, and the show was going to continue after leaving the rest of the viewers with a cliffhanger, no less! luckily, she found it broken a few hours before the show. the marketplace was her best bet in finding someone to help her, and here she is- she's been asking and making small talks to the people around in her journey. "yes, I've been well, mister! hoping you are too- perhaps by any chance, do you know someone who knows how to fix televisions?" she asks an acquaintance; fortunately, this time, her pleas don't go unheard to a certain someone waiting nearby.

@? ⋮ ❛ m. jia｡ sighs inwardly as I kicked the chair back with my foot before taking a seat and dropping my bag of comfort food onto the table along with a bowl of ramen and two sets of utensils. it’d been a long day and it was just my luck to run into someone who was so persistent on buying /my/ bowl of ramen that I had gotten to first.

using one hand to push up his specs, the other used to grip tightly onto his toolbox; a huff escaped his lips a moment later. today just wasn't his day. not even one person he met today had anything broken to be fixed. it was almost like his life depended on him needing to fix something– he definitely needed to get that checked out, though. nevertheless, in the meantime, inching over to a nearby pole– yeonjun merely waited. hoping at least *someone* had a problem he could fix in the busy streets of the marketplace. a cry for help, anything.
