@? โฎ โ y. jimin๏ฝก to say yohan was finely tuned to the happenings around him would have been a grave exaggeration – after all, had that been the case, he would have realized the feelings jimin had harbored for him years back. however, he was an instinctual taekwondo athlete and the burning gaze on the corner of his lips was a telltale sign that jimin, too, had not forgotten what had happened during the lantern fest. for that, the redness of his ears may have traveled well past his neck — rendering him as red as the wine from edens winery. he sheepishly accepts the carton of banana milk with both hands, staring at the nutritional label and pretending to read it because, honestly he had no clue how to act anymore. although, he quickly tore his gaze away from the carton to look back at jimin when she said she had a question to ask, "ah i'm not busy at all! so...what's your question? oh actually, why dont we sit down by the bench and talk. im sure you've been standing for a while so let's rest our legs...?" yohan suggests, gesturing towards the bench by the outdoor field.
@๊ค โฎ โ k. yohan๏ฝก by the time her palms had slightly pruned up from the trickling precipitation that covered the carton, jimin's nerves had already calmed down into a gentle thrum, figure propped up by the pillar besides the gate, seeking for shade from the blistering sun. but despite the half an hour it took for her to rationalize her thoughts, her heartbeat picked up its pace at the first note of his familiar voice. suddenly, she's gripping the banana milk all too tightly, tucking her hand behind her figure to hide the sight of the carton away. "o-oh, kimyo! hey, yeah. . . i was just . . . around the neighborhood." of course, you're around the neighborhood, jimin. you live there. she's internally wincing at the blatant white lie, straightening up to glance at anywhere but towards him. she couldn't . . . not when her gaze would gradually hover back onto that spot. that one spot upon the curl of plush lips, she remembered it feeling so soft - nope! the shuffling of her feet brought the flustered girl back to reality, finally finding the will to glance up only to stare in the space between his brows. "i - uhm, i didn't know if the dojang was opened today so . . . i didn't want to bother you - i'm not bothering you am i? gosh, i hope not. you must be very busy, i should've just left the banana milk here." she's ratting herself out before she could even realize, physically biting down onto the tip of her tongue as she stops mid ramble, eyes widening like a deer caught in headlights. jimin offers a nervous laughter towards the latter, bringing the carton hidden behind her back into view as she sheepishly offered it up to him. "i . . . got you banana milk. like the old times. for no. . . reason, in particular. are you. . . busy? i had a question,- but! it could wait! it's not urgent. at all. completely not."
@? โฎ โ y. jimin๏ฝก spring had come in full force, adorning the trees by the yard of the dojang with beautiful pink plum blossoms. unfortunately that also meant a certain someone's allergies had come in full force – and while yohan could have gotten rid of the trees for his own sake – he was a sentimental man who endured a few stuffy noses to keep the dojang as it was. business operations were closed today but as the owner, yohan was always there on mondays to prep for the coming week. the lack of people also allowed for him to work at his own pace – at the expense of him dozing off from the effects of the allergy medicine. when he next woke up, the sun was already high in the sky, signaling the midday alongside the gentle murmurs of activity outside. getting up from his seat, yohan finds himself hovering by the window – rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.
jimin was outside by the gates, a carton of banana milk in her hand harkening him back to their school days. she stood out in the midst of the plum blossoms, almost leaving yohan in a daze as he remembered what happened during the lantern festival. before he could allow himself to get any more flustered than he already was, the young man had threw on his windbreaker and made a run towards the exit to meet jimin by the gates. "y-yooji!" he calls out, jogging over. "surprised to see you here- i i mean not surprised but um- well- kind of? but i'm glad to see you here, well unless its an emergency and you need my help then i'm your man! i- anyways...what brings you here?" the stammering, tripping up on his words, rambling and flushed ears were all uncharacteristic of him – the dalgona seller outside the gates could only sigh at the sight of him.
@๊ค โฎ โ k. yohan๏ฝก maybe this wasn't such a good idea. besides there was still around 10 days left until the dance itself. which meant, 10 entire days jimin could spend contemplating on whether or not asking yohan to the event would work well in her favor. yet, here she was, fingers fiddling with a carton of banana milk, condensation slipping down her hands under the warming sun. would he even be at the dojang today? she couldn't recall the last time she's made a visit - probably before they graduated. . .it's been a few years since then. but as her eyes take in the familiar entrance, a pang of nostalgia hits her right on the nose. the trip to the dojang was one made impulsively, a sudden shot of adrenaline that had her legs moving on their own accord and before she knew it, she was idly loitering by the outside. she just couldn't bring herself to knock, or much less peek into the dojang as flashes of the lantern festival night appears in her head. from the mittens, to the lantern they picked together . . . and finally the -- jimin flushes a bright red as she physically shook her head to drown out the image of her landing an unintentional kiss onto the corner of his lips. maybe she'll leave it up to fate, seeing as her own shame and embarrassment prevents her from taking another step into the vicinity. if he appears . . . she'll muster up the courage to ask. if not, she was walking home with banana milk to accompany her.
