general rules
01: favoriting the roleplay is required for your reservation to be accepted. upvoting is only mandatory for a new character but is always appreciated. We reserve the right to reject your reservation and/or application, especially if you fail to follow the rules and proper format.

02: check the taken muses list. if a name is not there then they are available. banned muses include those that are deceased, problematic, have committed or under investigation for serious crimes, have been involved in major scandals, have asked to not be roleplayed, or faceclaims whose age cannot be verified.

03: comment with the full name of your desired faceclaim and their real-life occupation or group, and real-life age. reservations last 72 hours and can only have one extension for up to 4 extra days. we reserve the right to reject extensions. canon and original characters are optional but encouraged.

04: all orientations and nationalities are allowed. models, actors, and ulzzangs are allowed as long as they do not fall under a banned faceclaim.

05: ualizing minors will not be accepted or tolerated under any circumstances. If you are found guilty of doing so, you will be immediately deleted and blacklisted. due to the darker nature of the roleplay, while not mature-themed, faceclaims under the international age of 16 will not be allowed.

06: as the roleplay is set in New York, it has a set timezone of GMT-4/-5 also known as EST/EDT. Please follow this timezone when posting ic. this means don't say good morning in a post if it's supposed to be 7 pm. this does not apply to long-term threads as they may go past a certain time/date IRL but still be the same day in that specific thread.

07: ooc drama will not be tolerated under any circumstances. this roleplay is meant to be a safe and comfortable space for everyone. this includes but is not limited to bullying, bad-mouthing, user taunting, passive-aggressive behavior, and fighting. If there is an issue, speak privately and civilly to resolve it, with an admin mediator if necessary. If sufficient evidence of this is found by the admins, all parties involved will receive ONE warning message detailing their infractions. Another infraction of any kind will result in 24 hours being given to remove themselves or be forcefully removed. removal due to breaking this rule may result in blacklisting from the roleplay. No exceptions.

08: IC drama is allowed and encouraged especially between factions and species known to be at odds. make sure that ALL parties involved fully agree with all drama. unplotted ic drama without consent will result in one warning being given. another offense will result in immediate removal. do not mix ic and ooc.

09: this is NOT a mature-themed or rp. keep NSFW content and threads to PMs, walls, and rated rooms. all NSFW and triggering content MUST be properly labeled. Failure to do so will result in one warning, while another offense will result in immediate removal.

10: do not face chase, character chase, user chase, or bubble rp. if you do, you will receive one warning before being removed from the roleplay.

11: there is a dating ban of 2 weeks upon joining. move-in couples are allowed but you must state that you are a move in or the dating ban will apply. no exceptions. all couples MUST comment in the couple list room to be added.

12: Pregnancy, adoption, and surrogacy are allowed with consent from all parties involved and admin notification. pregnancies last 7-9 real-life weeks. 1 week = 1 month.

13: do not comment if leaving the roleplay. pm an admin. comments are for reservations and stat updates. if you need a hiatus or a cc, tag an admin in the proper room, comments will be deleted and ignored. if you leave without notifying an admin, we reserve the right to blacklist you.

14: make sure you read all the rules and information rooms to get the password

Activity Rules
01: inactivity is set to 16 days. You will get ONE warning and 48 hours to get rid of the inactive sign before being removed. Wall posts do not count and will be checked! Users with no post points after two weeks of joining will be removed right away. Users that go inactive twice in a row, with or without threads, may be temporarily banned from gaining new characters. characters that miss the activity requirement without talking to an admin for an extension will be removed. if you need it, hiatuses are available upon request.

02: unlimited characters and ccing. refer to the proper rooms for more information. you must keep them all active. characters that go inactive twice in a row will be removed, whether permanently or temporarily is up to admin discretion. you may not have more than two members of the same real-life group.

03: you must have at least a basic profile and one thread with at least 3 replies from yourself within one week of joining or 20 ic posts or you will be removed for inactivity. we suggest keeping at least one active thread to keep from going inactive, especially if that character is a Bellator or city official. In order for a thread to be considered active, there must be at least 2 replies from each party each week though more is always encouraged.

006: when doing group threads, make sure everyone is on the same page BEFORE starting. if you come in late to the thread, please be sure to backread so you know what is going on. if you do not have the time to backread at a specific moment and the thread has already started, WAIT until you can backread. Failure to do so can cause confusion among all parties involved in the thread.

In character rules
01: Since this is a school-themed roleplay, detention does exist but can only be given by staff. Staff can ONLY give detention for skipping class and being out of the dorms past curfew. If you get detention, you lose 100 points. Staff cannot give detention more than twice in a row and cannot last more than 3 days. There is a mandatory 2-week ban between detention giving.

02: Due to the different species, powers and abilities allowed, the admins currently tentatively allow character deaths. All parties involved must agree to the plot and cause of death and you MUST get permission from the admins before proceeding. You MUST have at least 2 characters before being allowed to do this. If a character has died, you may choose to keep them dead, in which case the faceclaim will remain on the taken muses list and can never return. You may also choose to resurrect them, in which case you will go to the request room and follow the rules there.

03: more rules to be added as the roleplay grows and develops.

Application rules

01: Read all the rules and information rooms, especially the faq. if your question is not there then please ask an admin, we're happy to help!

02: make sure to follow the proper application for your character. You will have 2 chances to fix your application before it will be automatically rejected and the reservation cleared. You may try again with another muse or have to wait 3 days before trying again with the same muse. there is a mobile version to make things easier.

03: canon characters and original characters are accepted and encouraged, however, they are optional. if choosing an oc, keep in mind the character's species and nationality, and ethnicity when naming them. due to restrictions of characters in chats, please refrain from making your character's name too long.

04: due to original lore, species are limited to what's listed in the species room. more species may be added at an admin's discretion if requested but not guaranteed, especially if there is no way to fit them into the lore of the roleplay.

05: if your character is not human nor follows human biology, you must put both their real age and their physical age in the app. for example, a character maybe 800 years old (real age) but only looks 22 (physical age). please be realistic for your character, species, and faceclaim. you are allowed to age your character up or down a max of 5 years (physical age only) as long as they don't go below 16.

06: outsider positions are limited to five as of right now, more may be added if seen as popular. this is a tentative allowance with a current trial period. if shown to not work or be popular, this aspect may be removed and an outsider will have to choose another species. outsiders are always regular humans from outside Lunaria, meaning they have no mythical energy in them whatsoever. they are simply travelers resting in Lunaria for a certain amount of time. check the faq for more information.

07: all characters between the ages of 16-25 are considered students and must attend classes. 26+ characters may be staff, teachers, or other city jobs. students may have part-time jobs as well. remember that students actually start school at age 6, so unless the student ventured out of Lunaria for a time, everyone should know each other. remember that humans and other species all go to school together, there is not a separate school for humans.
