@kim ∴ jongin Byunghun had fixed a few things and figured his students were gone, so he hadn't noticed the student come over to him, before said student mentioned his class name. He quickly looked up at the student and smiled kindly at him, figuring he could at least share the kindness he always had.
Hearing him apologize made him hum and smile some more. He looked down at his papers for a second, seeing that he was the new student. "Kim Jongin? Right?" He asked as he looked up again.
"It's alright. You aren't the first, nor last, to sleep through my lessons. Most teachers hate it and would be angry, but really... Who haven't slept during a class?" He chuckled quietly and leaned back in his seat, pushing three books over to Jongin. "Here. These are for you." He mentioned as he looked up at him.
@lee ⋄ byunghun Jongin's primary focus was dance, but like all students, he had to pick a minor to fulfill his core requirements. It made sense to him, given his schedule and interests, to choose general education. History was one of the subjects he couldn't escape, though it didn't exactly stir excitement in him. It wasn’t that he disliked history—it just had that effect of making his eyelids heavy. Staying awake during the lecture was a challenge, but he tried. After all, being the new kid meant he couldn’t afford to make a bad impression, especially on a professor.
So, after class ended, Jongin found himself standing awkwardly in front of the professor’s desk. His face flushed slightly as he remembered the brief moment he'd drifted off, head drooping in a brief doze. He hadn’t meant to, of course, but now he felt the need to make it right. A quiet apology was the least he could do, and he figured a little sincerity might go a long way.
“Professor,” he started, voice a little sheepish, “I’m sorry for nodding off during your lecture. I’ll make sure to stay more focused next time.” He offered a small smile, hoping his brief lapse wouldn’t be remembered too harshly.
@kim ∴ jongin After a while of teaching a whole class, Byunghun had just sat down in the seat of the classroom. He tapped his fingers quickly over the computer board and wrote some stuff down. Sending emails and letters and so on. He also was cleaning off the headboard of the class so it would be free and clean to the next class. He then checked his calender and frowned. A new student for him to come by. He fixed his hair a bit, not wanting to look like an idiot in front of the student. Byunghun was a new teacher here as well, so he cared for his looks. Maybe that also made the reason for his young looks. He found some books that he would share with this student and figured he hopefully liked history, if not, that would . He indeed disliked students who visibly hated his classes, so that also had a feeling for him.
