@◦ j. chanwoo ʲᶜʰᵃⁿ_ʷᵒᵒ "I— what? You'd pay me during a break? Would that be considered like taking sick leave and still getting paid or something?" Her owlish orbs are blinking slowly while gawking at the other and she knows, she must look a bit foolish while gazing at the male with an expression out of this world. Disbelief floods her veins because of how good it sounds. The term *too good to be true* plays on her mind as she shakes her head once and starts playing around with her blizzard before taking a melted scoop of the creamy substance in between her brims. "You're surely probably the best boss I might have yet because I know workers especially something private, not something government based, would find it difficult to pay a worker when they're on a break or need some time off, whether it's some days or a week or so. Genuinely though, I do appreciate it a lot and I cannot wait to see how this new job goes, I look forward to working alongside you Chan." Grinning from ear to ear, the girl reaches over to squeeze his hand and chuckles softly. "You know what I just remembered? The first nice of the app or second— and you got tipsy and said you'd call me *won* because I *won* your heart. Cute."

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ Chanwoo was taking bites of his ice cream as the other was explaining her schedule, nodding along to things here and there. He was a bit relieved that she seemed to be agreeing with the other on taking the job. The male however, would not have been upset if Jiwon had turned down his offer. He knew how stressful college was and working while doing so, he had been doing just the same himself. “I’m sure.” He added at the end of her explination, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. “Well, I’m glad that you’ll take it! Everyone seems to love you there so I’d be happy to bring you on to the team.” Chanwoo shook his head at the other thinking of calling him sir. It might have been his humbleness, but he was never one for formalities. “Chan is fine! Keep it the same as before.” He nodded. “Oh, and if you ever decide that you need a break from doing the welcoming and other things, just let me know, I’ll understand!” He said. “If you take a break for a bit, I’ll still pay you during your break and when you come back of course.”

@◦ j. chanwoo ʲᶜʰᵃⁿ_ʷᵒᵒ Jiwon is floored by how lenient the male is towards her duties to follow suit and she's a bit shocked that there's someone out there, willing to hire another and be as understanding as Chanwoo. How is it possible? But yet, she's not complaining one bit. "My shift at the library on a weekday usually ranges from 3-4 hours max and then on Saturdays 6 hours but I only work two Saturdays of the month! Due to my studies, we worked out a schedule to accommodate me as well. So with that being said, the only time I probably can't be here for long would be when I'm in class, or when I'm studying or doing something else away but it doesn't mean, even if slow— I shall leave all the responsibilities to you. After all, it's my job too, granted you're sure about hiring me." Her words are light and airy and just a bit teasing as she says this and her chuckles are sounded just as she takes a quick bite from the delicious, creamy treat before the two. "I'd be honored and very happy to have this amazing opportunity so by all means, I'm down if you'd really like that." Her eyes are crinkling at the corners and lighting up as she says this, head tipping down sheepishly as a flicker of a smile plays on her pair. "When would you like for me to start? Do I call you Sir now because of you being my boss or— would Chan be fine? Or is that too rude..." She ponders to herself while idly playing with her blizzard treat.

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ “I think I will definitely be getting this more often!” He said happily, if there was one thing the male couldn’t deny was his sweet tooth. The male was typically found often with something sweet in hand. After seeing the others response Chanwoo couldn’t help but to get a little bit worried that he might have scared the other. “I didn’t mean to startle you with the question.” He said softly. Once the other started talking, Chanwoo started to bite his inner lip out of a nervous habit, he waited until she was fully done explaining herself before a small smile grew on his face, happy to know that the other wasn’t turning down his offer. “Yes, exactly! It’s really good money, and you can do it anytime you want to open the app!” He continued to explain a bit further. “There is not a specific time that you have to do things either, so its easy for you to work around, and if you can’t do it everytime someone comes in, then don’t worry about it! I’m sure I can handle the ones you can’t get to!” He had almost forgotten about the treat in front of him, taking a small bite after he finished.

@◦ j. chanwoo ʲᶜʰᵃⁿ_ʷᵒᵒ "Didn't I tell you?! It's delicious!" Her words are soft as she gushes over the delicious treat and she also continues eating but has to pause upon hearing the male's question. Her eyes enlarged a little at the question and all the explanation Chanwoo went through to explain before choking lightly. She has to cough once or twice into a piece of the napkin so she doesn't make a fool out of herself. "I— they really do say expect to unexpected when you're not really ready for certain surprises in life huh? Haha, wow, this is actually.... its an honor to be asked this Chan. I didn't think I'd be asked this, I really thought it was something bad." Her lips form a little pout at her overthinking nature, always thinking something bad or negative is bound to happen due to her terrible past experiences. "To answer you though, I know I am quite busy, yes, but it's not that hard making people feel welcomed or indulging when I can't sleep for one, then I take breaks in between studying. My evening job is just part-time and not many hours. The most are six on Saturdays, so I would be honored and really happy to accept. I mean— who wouldn't? You're an amazing person Chan and I admire your intelligence. I also wouldn't say no, since the money will come in really handy for my studies too."

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ Chanwoo could notice the small bit of panic coming from the other so he tried to hurry up with the tasks so the other wouldn't be kept wondering for long. Once they were sitting back down at the table, Chanwoo took a breath for a moment, taking a bite of the blizzard. His eyes widening in delight with the flavor. "That's really good. I like it!" He smiled with a nod. "Okay, so I just wanted to talk to you about the app!" Chanwoo began. "Nothing too big, but you've been such a friendly face on there, many of the app users recognize you as the nice friendly and welcoming person." Chanwoo knew the other had a lot on her plate to begin with so apart of him felt bad for asking. "I just feel bad, because I'm so busy fixing the tiny details of the app that I get so distracted with it, and was wondering if you wanted to be the 'official welcomer' or something?"

@◦ j. chanwoo ʲᶜʰᵃⁿ_ʷᵒᵒ "Hmm, okay I am trusting you that everything's fine," chortling softly, Jiwon has a slight panic in her still and she grins sheepishly, looking at the older male before walking over to the table they were once at. Jiwon acted like a little kitten walking and following as the man walked back and forth. Finally, she settles down, a breath coming out nervously as her orbs skittishly look at the male, down at her ice cream treat, and back at him discreetly, or so she hopes she's being. Seolhyun always told her she was not as sneaky as she may think and it caused her to flush a bit as she realized what she was doing. Once she's finished waiting, she mumbles around her spoon before swallowing. "So, what is it that you wish to speak to me about? Oh, and do tell me if you like the ice cream choice, this blizzard would be one of the bests on Park Jiwon's list."

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ The hug from the shorter was brief, but nice and soft. He had been glad to have been finally able to meet the other in person. "I am sure I will love it." He nodded a grin on his face. "No problem, I don't mind it one bit." He said, before going up to order their treats. He stepped back and looked at Jiwon upon the others comment. "Oh." He said a small nod. 'It's nothing bad there isn't anything to worry about." He grabbed the treats from the worker once they were finished and handed one of them to Jiwon before continuing. "Let's have a seat, and I can talk a bit more."

@◦ j. chanwoo ʲᶜʰᵃⁿ_ʷᵒᵒ The hug was like flower petals dancing in the air, light, soft and sweet. Her lips are pulled into an overly fond grin as her slender arms wrap tightly around the male and she's squishing the man with all her might. Even if Jiwon is delicate and quite petite compared, doesn't mean she's anything close to being weak. Not at all! Her strength comes by in numbers as she feels the effects of her training from years ago to prior. She attends Kung fu classes when it's possible due to being extremely busy and tired after classes or her job at the library. Once the male decided on his treat, a happy, pleased grin forms on her brims as a chuckle ensues after. "Cute, I hope you would the sweet, chocolate goodness because it's one of my favorites actually." Her voice is light and airy and full of excitement due to the man trying out a flavor she's crazy about. "Also, thank you for bringing me out to buy me ice cream, it means a lot, you're so sweet." She whispers with a happy smile and even nudges the male a little before humming under her breath. "You said there was something you wanted to speak to me about earlier hm? Is it something bad Chan?" The pent-up nervousness she had coursing through her mind and veins prior to their meeting finally came out as she peeks up at him curiously albeit a bit scared, due to her overthinking nature.

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ Chanwoo let out a small chuckle at the others comment, "You're right, I'm sorry." He said holding his arms open inviting the other for a hug, his arms wrapping around the other for a small moment before pulling away. The male turned along with the other to look at the menu board, he wasn't exactly sure what he was in the moodboard so everything looked good to him. The other's mention at the brownie batter blizzard piqued his interest though. It had been a while that he had that flavor, he had usually gone for the mintier flavors. "Actually, that sounds pretty good." He responded, with a small smile. "So two of those then?" He asked to confirm before he went to go order.

@◦ j. chanwoo ʲᶜʰᵃⁿ_ʷᵒᵒ "You know it's rude to not hug me," the girl haughtily mutters with a puff in her cheeks. Squinting at the taller, she huffs out, most people that she met are usually taller and bigger than her and it's no surprise that Chan would be taller than her too. Any person who she meet tends to loom over her. Shaking her head once, the petite girl turns to look at the menu with pursed brims as she thinks long and hard over her choices. "Hmm, let's see... I am feeling for the brownie batter blizzard! I'm feeling for something extra sweet and chocolate-y. Is that alright with you? What you'd prefer?" The girl curiously looks over at the male's attire and she notes that he's coming from work as expected of their app developer. A hardworking individual indeed and her heart goes out to the male because of how precious he is in trying to make things ideal for the users.

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ Chanwoo had been checking his emails , and occasionally looked up at the menu thinking of what he would want. It wasn't long after he had gotten there that he heard a voice calling his name. "Oh Jiwon." He greeted the other with a smile. "You're fine, I had just gotten here myself, so don't worry." He answered honestly. "But it's nice to finally meet you too." He looked around the building looking to see what tables were open before looking at the other. "Would you like to order first?" He asked his hand gesturing towards the front counter. "It's my treat, so get whatever you want."

@◦ j. chanwoo ʲᶜʰᵃⁿ_ʷᵒᵒ Jiwon as always could never manage her time! She's such a clutz, rushing to not stumble over her own two feet as she rushes from classes that ended a bit later than expected. The girl rushed over to the dairy queen establishment close to her new employee's hometown, or maybe it's his company? Either way, the dark-haired girl can't necessarily remember as she finally barged into the doors and rush over. Her eyes immediately found the male since she got acquainted well enough with him that she could recognize him off the bat. Her eyes brighten, lips pull into a bright grin as she pants out and comes up to the male. "Chan! Hi, shoot, did I have you waiting for too long?" She frowns deeply, her eyes searching the area before glancing at the male and smiling warmly at him. "It's nice to finally meet you!"

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ After a bit of messaging back and forth, the two had agreed to meet at a dairy queen, Chanwoo had walked his way over to the restaurant. Having not been to far from the fast food establishment, he was only about a five to ten minute walk, and the weather was pleasant enough to not worry. Upon arriving at the establishment, he looked around before heading inside and taking a quick glance around to see if the other had arrived before him. Not seeing the other, Chanwoo sent the other a message letting her know that he had arrived and would be inside waiting by the doors.
