After whining about needing retail therapy for several dates on an app he'd recently downloaded, Hyeokjin decided it was time to dig deep into his empty pockets and get to the mall. Texting a bunch of total strangers without doing anything had started feeling a little too pathetic. Now he stood leaning against the railings of the 3rd floor, tired but satisfied with 3 large bags resting at his side. He had a milk bubble tea in his hand and was lazily sipping on it. He did not typically go to the mall to buy clothes, but his favourite shops were far out of his price range this month. Well, this was good enough for now.

He didn't notice a toddler waddling up to him. They must have been interested in his baggy jeans because he only noticed their presence when a small hand started tugging at his jeans. Hyeokjin looked down and smiled at the toddler, who shyly smiled back. Seeing that the small child still wasn't letting go and staring at him, Hyeokjin reached down to pet his head. That's when it happened. A dog, some kind of mix, came charging at them faster than Hyeokjin could react. He jumped and latched his teeth in Hyeokjin's wrist. Someone screamed. A woman dashed over, apologising profusely and tried to get the dog off of Hyeokjin. The small child was crying and hid behind the woman, their mother. The dog was growling and hanging off of Hyeokjin stubbornly.

The woman tried pulling the dog off, which made it hurt so much more. "Ah! Wait- wait!" ing hell. Today was supposed to be a good day. Hyeokjin crouched down so the dog wasn't dangling in the air, but it still didn't let go. Blood dripped onto the floor. A small crowd had formed. "Don't you have snacks or something to give him?!" Rewarding a dog with a treat after it bit someone wasn't appropriate, but if it made the damn thing let go...

@◦ l. taemin ᶜᵃˡᶦᶜᵒ It was a weekday afternoon so business was slow at the mall. Akito was folding the shirts in the sale aisle of the shop he worked at, in the hopes of keeping it tidy at least until the next customer arrived. As he was working on the last pile, he noticed an unattended client and quickly placed the clothes down to bow to the man. “Welcome! Can I help you? Are you looking for a gift?” The script for a male customer left his lips automatically, only as he spoke he took a better look at the other’s face and found it somewhat familiar. A returning customer? No… An old acquantaince? No, it hasn’t been long since he had seen that face… Oh! It finally hit him. He had only seen one or two pictures of Calico but he definitely looked very similar to that customer. “I have something you might like.” Akito took one of the shirts, which had a calico cat print. He wasn’t sure if the blond man would recognize him - he was fully crossdressing - so he decided to take it slow.

@◦ p. jisung ᵖʲᶦ_ "Woah you sound like a busy bee! That's insanely cool though. I admire that about you Ji.. and you sure you don't mind? I don't care about such things but I know others do so I'm being cautious." She muses with a grin before thinking long and hard about the ones she loved the most. "I'd say chocolate truffle," she mumbles and holds the spoon out to the male's brims with a fond smile before laughing softly. "Nah, I don't think anyone really knows. Mmh, I'm a student, studying forensic psychology and I work part-time as a library assistant and well, I also work with Chan on the app we met." She teases lightly before tapping his brims gently with the back of the cute baby pink spoon with some of the gelato.

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ Jisung offered a small nod. “Yeah. I don’t stream too often though. I go into Blvck, my company, and work on some stuff, train with the others and stuff like that. I also film on the side. Little projects here and there.” The smirk elicits a laugh from him, taking a spoonful of pistachio, another raspberry and then tiramisu. He hummed loudly with each bite, mainly for the cashier, and pointed at the bubblegum flavor. “Speak for yourself. Feed me some. Which one is your favorite?” He asked, his lips. “Wait… did I ever learn what you do? I don’t really pay attention…”

@◦ p. jisung ᵖʲᶦ_ The little squeeze of her shoulders was the kindest thing he could've done and it has her feeling elated before flashing the male a gentle smile. "Thank you, Ji, you're far too kind, also homebody isn't that bad, I mean, I don't even recall what you do for a living but I believe it's something with streaming?" She asks curiously, almost in a whisper due to not wanting to disturb the female worker behind the counter. Once the ice cream comes their way as *samples*, Jiwon flashes Ji a small smirk before taking one at a time and dividing them up with him, she tries a spoonful of bubblegum gelato, then cheesecake gelato, and the third, chocolate truffle. "Hm, these are all pretty good, I would give you a taste of mine, but I doubt you'd want to eat from my spoon." She mutters with a sheepish and apologetic smile. "How was your set of flavors?"

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ “Ten days the same ? Smart man.” The gamer doesn’t look at her when she spoke, though he’s listening, he didn’t want her to feel the pressure from his eyes. “It can feel a little bit like that, huh? No matter how much you stretch or push, that heavy feeling never really goes away until it decides to go away. I’ve been there.” He hummed, a comforting squeeze sent to her shoulder. “Uhm… yes. Not it’s been a while. I’m more of a homebody… excuse me sir? It’s my first time here. What favors do you recommend?” The lie came out too easy, but he really wanted the free samples. The girl behind the counter chirped and offered some options, even going as far as handing them tiny spoonfuls.

@◦ p. jisung ᵖʲᶦ_ "Ah, dramatic as well to the list huh? Tsk, I might have just slipped out a 'charming' male in the mix there but... I guess I'm here questioning that." She playfully jests with amusement lingering on her features. The girl doesn't realize how dorky they must look, standing in the middle of the entrance while playing around with each other via their teasing words. "I like that phrase though, it sounds similar to what Ten has been saying too. Pixels and patterns make sense though. Mmh, thank you for asking Ji, I am getting there hmmm I'm just stressed about way too many things at the same time, and as you can see how tiny I am right now, it's like the world is weighing on my damn shoulders." Her orbs scan the area with him before nudging the male curiously, "have you ever been here before? You also look a tad bit lost."

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ Despite the roll of her eyes, he couldn’t deny how pretty her eyes were, especially how they crinkled when she smiled. A smile of his own formed to mirror hers as he took her dainty fingers into his soft ones, giving it a firm shake. “I waited ages for you. But I’m okay since you’re here now.” He chuckled, taking his hand back and stepping aside to walk with her towards the food court. “We’re all a bunch of patterns and pixels until we’re face to face with people. I almost didn’t recognize you as well. Are you feeling a little better since last time we spoke?” He asked as his eyes searched for the gelato shop.

@◦ p. jisung ᵖʲᶦ_ The woman perks up when hearing that voice, her eyes finding the visual reference to the sound before flashing a light smile with a roll of her onyx orbs. "Haha, very funny, I wouldn't, because frankly, I would probably snicker a little because seeing someone cry over something like that may just be endearingly funny." Jiwon deadpans with an amused grin curling on plush brims as she reaches a hand out with a wiggle of dainty fingers in his direction. "Pleasure to meet you Jisunggie. Did I keep you waiting far too long? I was looking around for you in a flock of non-familiar faces so either way, it was hard to put a face to the person I've been talking and bantering with for some time."

@◦ p. jiwon ˣʲᶦʷᵒⁿᵖᵃʳᵏˣ It was cute how easy it was to fool those online with his soft persona, but Jisung was far from baby. He did have instances where he would find himself needier than most days, but that was it. Today was one of those days. Attention was important to him. With arms crossed, and head tilted, he watched as she searched for him in the busy mall, his lips curling into an amused smile. Slowly, he approached her and was in the perfect vicinity to hear her small complaint. “I almost did. And if I did, would you have wiped my tears for me?” His voice came off playful despite its deep, husky tone as he curled around to face her. “Jiwon?”

@◦ p. jisung ᵖʲᶦ_ Jisung is such a baby, cute, but a baby, her lips curl into a fond smile as she thinks about the other Ji in question. Eyes scanning the little crowd just outside of the mall doors while awaiting to spot the familiar boy. She doesn't know if she would get him in a "one" but that doesn't stop the woman from trying. Looking at every face that comes into view before walking over towards the main entrance and standing with her arms folded in front of her delicately. Her body sways back to forth nervously as she waits for the male in question. "And he said if I'm late he'd cry, pft." Rolling her eyes playfully at that, her hawk-like gaze keeps glancing to and fro for the younger, excited at the prospect of having some Gelato.
