❥ DORM : Miranda & Tao

@Miranda Zhao YuFei Seeing he'd had nothing to do other then spend his day bothering the female who'd seemed to have unpacked all her stuff in a couple of minutes. She didn't carry alot did she? Tao nodded slowly before he'd leaned over his night stand; Reaching for his reading glasses before he'd stood. "I'll be heading to the library." He said dismissively before he'd turned his back on her, what else did he need aside from his work sheets and his laptop?

He'd grabbed the essentials and slid them inside a large bag before he'd slung it over his shoulder.

Hearing her call out quietly, 'Do you need the bathroom for anything before I go in there?' He'd showered, he'd used the bathroom, he'd relieved himself. What else would he do inside the bathroom aside from that. "No, seeing you must be blind; I've already done what I needed to do." He commented before he'd turned to walk straight to the door, getting his key and shoving it into the back of his pocket before he'd opened the door, slipping out before he'd left.

@Tao "I'll shower in a few." she replied, mostly because she didn't want to be rude. Attitude would likely just put her in worse shape than she was in. Still, she wondered why on earth he cared if she showered then or not. Just by looking at him she could tell he was very conscious of hygiene but it was odd for him to bring it up.

Not so odd was the fact that she didn't want to shower with him there at all so she was putting it off, hoping he would leave. It appeared she was going to have no such luck though as the minutes ticked away. If only he had a girl or boy that he could bother, anyone but her.

Eventually she finished her busy work and had no choice but to finally shower. "Do you need the bathroom for anything before I go in there?" she asked quietly and pulled out the things she would need once inside.

@Miranda Zhao YuFei Now sporting a comfortable look, a pastel toned buttoned down with dark blue denim jeans, moccasin like shoes to match. Comforting yet classy. Tao stepped out of the double doored closet, custom made for him since most of his clothing clearly would not fit in the drawer. "Aren't you going to shower?" He'd questioned her.

Seeing she was unpacking her things, most of which he had to say were rather simple but form fitting to her body type. He then casually strode do his bed and sat down, eyeing the girl as she silently put away her clothing. Was she going to ignore him in all the time they'd be in this room?

@Tao (Panda-Chan) Unfortunately he wasn't wrong and it would be better for the family as a whole if she put up with him but she didn't like it, not one bit. Rather than rebel and cause problems for her mother she decided just to take it. It wasn't as if he was any more thrilled about her being there so he probably would ignore her if she left him alone.

That was her only hope for sanity and salvation as she began putting her things away, not paying attention to Tao at all. If she could just avoid him and his things then there would be no need for them to even converse. "Oh that would be heaven." she mumbled to herself and laid down on her bed, looking through her phone as a distraction.

@Miranda Zhao YuFei "Ah, quite dense you are." He chuckled at the irony. She seemed to have forgotten who it was she was talking to. Quite frankly if she'd moved to another room he'd request for her things to be placed back in his room. It'd be fun to play with her anyways. She seemed feisty at first glance. "I'm sure mother and father wouldn't want to hear disruption between the two of us, that would break my father since he's sensitve at most times about his son and his wife's family, am i right?"

"Now I suggest you get your back where it belongs, in that bed; Before I tell father otherwise." He'd warned her primely before he'd disappeared into the doors of his closet. Wanting to change in there because she was there. He'd give her that bit of privacy atleast.

@Tao (Panda-Chan) Miranda stopped in her tracks and turned around despite herself, leveling a look at him with thinly veiled annoyance. "Just because I have nothing to hide doesn't mean that I care to spend any time with you at all." she answered, doing her best not to clench her jaw. Everything about him just seemed to set her off and she wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.

"If it is all the same to you I would really rather be with someone I actually like." she stated and shrugged. He didn't really see her as a person, he had made that clear, so she figured he wouldn't care at all about how she felt about him. Tao didn't seem the type to worry about people he deemed as lesser than himself so she doubted he had any strong feelings one way or another.

@Miranda Zhao YuFei It seemed to him that he wasn't the only one with that feeling of dislike put out on display, though she was more subtle about it, he could still see it clearly. "Why so? I'm quite comfortable with you as long as you don't try anything, don't you remember what I said that night?" He'd spoke soon after he'd saw her rise. Most likely to walk out of the room.

What for? "As far as I know, you have nothing to hide right? meimei?"[Sister] He'd called out in that of a mock, what reason did she have to leave anyway.

@Tao (Panda-Chan) Again the dislike rose up in her like bile pushing up the esophagus before vomiting. It was as if he polarized every single cell in her body from the inside out just with his presence. Not even seeing him in the towel caused any feeling in her other than disgust. Fate was an .

"This is where I got assigned." she replied, her voice clearly containing hints of displeasure at the thought. "I think it would be best if I go back to the office and see if I can get this changed around to make it more comfortable for the both of us." With that she stood and gave him a short bow and headed towards the door, anything to get away from him.

@Miranda Zhao YuFei He'd froze mid way, his eyes deceiving him. He'd blinked multiple times before he'd approached the other cautiously. "What are you doing here...?" He'd asked her, leaning over his bed to get a spare towel, one to dry his hair; Atleast wanting to get it to that of a dampened texture.

"Did father send you to do something for me?" He'd asked once mroe, seeing she was rather silent. Other then seeing her mutter a couple of words under her breath. He'd shook his head before he'd turned to walk towards a drawer, stashing his underwear and personal belongings.

@Tao (Panda-Chan) The shower had been so quiet that Miranda hadn't even heard it running. As far as she knew she was completely alone until she heard the soft clicking of the door opening in the silence. No amount of preparation could have helped her for the shock and disappointment she felt as she saw her step-brother walk out in a towel.

"You've got to be kidding me." she muttered to herself, almost not believing what she was seeing. It had been a while since they met at their parents' wedding and she had been thankful that she had avoided him for so long. It seemed fate was having fun with her now and she wondered briefly what it would take to get her out of sharing a dorm with him.

Showering, he'd stood with shampoo in hand. Pouring a decent amount into his hands before he'd set the half emptied bottle down. Reminding him; He needed to go shopping and re-stock. Clasping his hands together, he'd rubbed the substance all along till he'd rose his arms. Gliding his long fingers across his now bleached hair. Eyes closed so the oozing liquid wouldn't get in his eyes. He'd been to busy shampooing his hair, he hadn't noticed the front door open. So he'd continued, taking his time.

A few minutes later, stepping under the water; staring downwards as he rinsed out the foam. Sighing before he'd turned the water off. Stepping out of the shower. He'd stood on the mat as he wrapped a small towel around his waist. Ruffling his newly washed hair before he'd walked to the door. Turning the knob a soft click heard before he'd opened it. Stepping out of the bathroom. Still quite not noticing til he'd faced forward;

A part of her dreaded entering her new room at the school. Miranda knew that her room mate was also Chinese but that did little to ease her fear. What if they hated her? What if they were annoying and touched her things? Any or a myriad number of problems could arise and she wondered briefly if it would have been better if she waited to try to purchase a room for herself.

She braced herself and walked inside, deciding not do anything until she spoke to whoever it was she shared the space with. Miranda took a seat on her trunk and decided to wait for them to show up. With any luck she would be able to get along with her new room mate well.
