@hwang hyunjin. just as soon as he thought he'd gotten rid of the annoying omega, minho's exquisite sense of smell and supersonic hearing instantly picked up on the pup following behind him. didn't he make himself clear enough? after their entire argument, the other male changed his mind and /wanted/ to go with minho? seemed messed up. abruptly, he stopped and glanced over his shoulder with a scowl. "what? not satisfied with how our little meeting went? i thought for sure you weren't interested in what i had to say, or even knowing more about me and the situation i'm in." he grunted, lip curling up a bit. "did you change your mind pup?"
@lee minho. "I'd rather not." Hyunjin decided, if this man was going to be a source of information then Hyunjin wanted it. He liked the spark of anger he saw in the man anyway, it always drew him like a moth to a flame. His self preservation skills were ed at best so it didn't surprise him when he began following the man instead of just letting him leave. Bringing his camera up to his face he snapped a few pictures of the man's back as he was walking. He was actually very photogenic, even when he was storming off in a huff. Hyunjin wouldn't mind photographing him in other angles, he was sure the man was beautiful enough to be a good model. Hyunjin wasn't keen on letting him get away so easily anyway, he might as well get something good out of him too.
@hwang hyunjin. minho desperately wanted to claw his own face off. god, why was this omega so ing irritating? no matter what he said, the other male had something smart to say right back to him. "i don't have time to bicker with a damn brat!" he finally hissed, throwing his hands up. "whatever the you wanna do, i don't give a . live your life however you want, and i'll do the same. obviously, you just wish to fight me on everything that comes out of my mouth...so fine. we can both go our separate ways and never see each other again. i think that'll be less stressful on both ends." minho grumbled, then spun on his heels and stormed off in the opposite direction. dealing with stupid little pups. he didn't need that.
@lee minho. “How exactly would I go crying to you anyway?” Hyunjin asked, tipping his head with the same carefully blank expression. He still didn’t quite know what to think of this random alpha who had single handedly ruined his life based on a mistake. He was still getting over that realization. They were both disappointing each other today it seemed, that almost gave him a small sense of satisfaction. He was glad he wasn’t what this thought he should be. “It’s not like I have your number or know where to find you. What would you even want to do for me anyways? Don’t you have revenge to get? You know, against the right person this time.”
@hwang hyunjin. his spawn was an omega? god, that made this much, much worse. minho ran a hand over his face with a sigh. "i didn't even create an alpha..." he muttered to himself. "something tells me you might not be telling me the entire truth, but whatever. if you think your life is perfect now and you don't need any guidance, then congratulations. sounds like you have all of the answers then, hm?" the alpha shrugged. maybe he should just leave this pup to fend for himself after all. "don't ever come crying to me if something goes wrong. there are more threats to wolves...especially reckless ones, than you think."
@lee minho. That got him to pause and he looked back at the man with an entirely empty expression. "I'm an omega dip . I've at least figured that much out. Hard not to when I got into heat twice a year." He didn't know where this idiot got the idea that he was an alpha. He was the exact opposite of an alpha. "And yes, I'm living my best life these days. I've figure things out all on my own without your help all these years. I don't need your help now." He had a small list of alphas he could call when his heat hit. He didn't worry about needing to protect himself because he liked being thrown around and taken advantage of. He might have gotten wired a little wrong when he was turning into a werewolf, but he embraced it now. He wasn't scared of what he was anymore, he enjoyed it.
@hwang hyunjin. "how adorable... this little wolf knows how to talk trash. however, that's exactly all you can do. you're just talk and have no bite. you're a pathetic alpha," minho grunted, lip curling in disgust. out of all the humans he could've turned, he just /had/ to pick the one who was more beta or omega material than alpha. "i could show you what it means to be a proper alpha, pup. besides, what other choice do you have? can you honestly say you've been living your life to its fullest potential?" he called out after the other male. even if the wolf walked away, minho would be able to easily find him. he wouldn't shake minho off that quickly. "you're wasting an opportunity!"
@lee minho. "Fat ing chance," Hyunjin shook his head, turning his back on the psycho. He didn't trust himself not to get into a fight that he wouldn't win. "Do it your damn self, and maybe this time rub those two brain cells of yours together and actually target the right person." He bite out, his tone cold and trembling from the amount of anger that was coursing through him. This was not how his night was supposed to go, he was pissed off and not in any mood to continuing take pictures. What a waste of a beautiful night.
Shaking his head he started to walk away, he had no business with a man who meant nothing to him now. He got his answers, his life was destroyed over a mistake. He went through Hell all alone because some idiot couldn't be bothered to be sure he had the right person before he attacked. It blew Hyunjin's, mind because out of every possibility he could think of, that was the last one that had ever crossed his mind. A mistake. He was nothing but a mistake.
@hwang hyunjin. annoyed, minho crossed his arms over his chest. "as if you have a choice. and who taught you all of those colorful words, pup? seems like you think it'll scare me if you talk tough...honestly, it's more amusing than anything." he smirked and cocked his head to the side. "if you think about it, helping me get back at those who wronged me would also be you getting justice for what happened to you. they're the ones to blame for all of this, not me. if you had been in my position, i'm sure you would've done the same thing in the end, no matter what it took to get there."
@lee minho. "I don't owe you ! You owe me for ing up in the first place." Hyunjin hissed, taking a step back when Minho stepped closer. He did not want this raging psychopath any closer to him. Hyunjin was so pissed off he was shaking. He couldn't believe, after all these years, he finally meets the monster that ruined his life and he turns out like this. Hyunjin was almost reeling from it. His ears ringing and his vision shaking, he wasn't sure if it was anxiety, or if he was just that angry. "I'm not helping you. You can right off. You're the one stupid enough to make the mistake in the first place, fix it your damn self."
@hwang hyunjin. "i didn't say you wanted it...hell, i know when you first start out, it can be rough, but you learn as you go. look how you turned out. you're fine now, hm? nothing to complain about." minho rolled his eyes, completely unphased by the other's deadly glare. "although, /i/ certainly can complain. all these years, i thought i had my revenge, but i'm not even close!" he hissed, stepping closer to the taller male. "this time, though, you're going to help me. you're going to help me attack my rivals to get back at them and right the wrongs. you owe me this for getting in my way, pup."
@lee minho. "You think I wanted this? With no explanation? I thought I was dying! And it was almost worse when I went into heat, I had no idea what was happening to me. I had to learn it all through Google searches and trial and error." Hyunjin spat, glaring at the man. He was not about to be thanking this delusional for anything, especially not for ruining his life and turning him into some kind of creature. Hyunjin hadn't even believed in werewolves before he was suddenly turned into one. He'd just been a child, a terrified child all alone dealing with trauma he couldn't tell anyone about. Certainly nothing to be thankful for.
@hwang hyunjin. "you weren't the one who i was supposed to attack!" he hissed, spinning back around to face the other male. "i mistook you for their precious little son...but it turns out you're just the human who got in the way of my plan." his eyes narrowed. "don't act like this life isn't better than the one you had before! i gave you strength...power...what more could you want? so don't get your all in a twist; you should be thanking me." minho didn't fully understand why this pup harbored so much anger toward him. it wasn't like minho /meant/ to turn him into a wolf. "you're no longer prey."
@lee minho. Slowly Hyunjin took his camera back, his confusion slowly shifting to anger. "What do you mean I wasn't the one?" That sounded a lot like Hyunjin's life being turned completely upside down had been a damned mistake. He'd gone through Hell all alone, his first shift, his first heat, trying to navigate what he was without his mother finding out. It had been horrible, and now this man was standing here saying he was the wrong person. "You did this to me by mistake? Are you ing serious?" He demanded, self-preservation be damned, he was pissed. He couldn't believe what he was hearing after all these years, all the times he imagined this moment, it had never played out like this.
@hwang hyunjin. minho's eyes widened ever so slightly. , he'd never meant for the pup to remember him...or the event. minho had thought the other would've been too young to recall exactly what had happened, but based on his words, minho had clearly been wrong this whole time. not to mention...how could he have gotten the entirely wrong person? the man standing in front of him hadn't even been the one he'd wanted to attack all those years ago. that would explain why he had no idea about the feud going on between him and the lunar pack. "i had done that to make a statement. but what i'm finding out now is...you weren't the one who should have suffered my wrath." cursing angrily under his breath, minho out the camera to the other wolf before turning away and running a hand over his face. "what a mess...what a damn mess!"
@lee minho. Slowly Hyunjin's head tipped to the side, though his expression stayed with the same level of curious confusion. He didn't really know what this man was getting at. Hyunjin wasn't stupid, despite what many people seemed to claim, he knew very well that he was in a potentially deadly situation but he wasn't certain that he cared. His life being in danger wasn't much of a motivation for him, he had learned that the hard way over the last few years as he grew more and more reckless. He didn't want to risk his camera though so he answered. "Yes, I was. It turned me into... something. A werewolf I guess. I didn't understand it then and I still don't now. I just know that other wolves can pick up my scent. They've found me before." It wasn't all that much different to how this man seemed to have found him.
@hwang hyunjin. someone else? impossible! he recognized this wolf by his scent; there couldn't be a mistake. yet, as minho studied the pup in front of him, he failed to find an ounce of deceit anywhere. but...if he somehow was telling the truth, how could he have gotten such a mix-up? "while i still don't believe you, i have to know something. if you answer honestly, then i'll hand your camera back to you." he paused for a moment, gaze hardeninig. "were you or were you not attacked in this very spot years ago by another wolf?" he asked, continuing to study the other for any sign that he could be trying to fool minho. if he lied, well, he could say goodbye to his precious camera...potentially along with his life.
@lee minho. "I don't know, I've never known my father, don't care to know him." Lifting a shoulder in a shrug he kept his eyes on his camera, he was getting more and more convinced that this stranger had confused him with someone else. His mother worked to the bone at the hospital, she was gone more often than not and had left Hyunjin to himself or the care of neighbors who were sometimes persuaded to cook for him. His mother might have been proud of her work or something, but definitely not of her afterthought of a son. "I really don't know what you're talking about. I think you have me confused with someone else." He just wanted his camera back so he could go one with his night.
@hwang hyunjin. he raised a brow. well, that certainly was new. not that minho cared, but what the hell happened to the pup's father? he had unfinished business with the old wolf. "where's your father? he didn't skip town to avoid dealing with me when the time came, did he?" he grunted, purposely holding the camera out of reach. "i think you do know what i'm talking about, you're just acting like you don't. your parents were proud people...they'd definitely groom their son into becoming one of them. i have a hard time believing that they kept all of this from you." minho pointed out while mindlessly scrolling through some of the photos that were, thankfully, not of him. "seems as if you have a passion for photography, hm?"
@lee minho. "Parents?" He echoed the word, shaking his head slowly. "Only my mother, she works too much to keep an eye on me." He said, reaching out to try to take his camera back. He didn't really care what happened to him, but he did care about the fate of his camera. Granted he would only be losing his photos from that night, but he couldn't afford to replace the camera. "I don't know what you're talking about." Sighing he realized he wasn't getting his camera back unless this man decided to hand it over. Picking a fight wasn't really something Hyunjin cared to do. That took far more effort and passion than he had in him. "There is no pack. There's just me."
@hwang hyunjin. minho laughed, although the chuckle was devoid of amusement. "'looking to be snatched up'?" he repeated as he glanced between the other's face and the camera in his hands. "why is that? i know your parents treasure you more than anything. surely, they'd treat you as such, hm?" a hand came up to run through his hair, the strands falling right back into place afterward. taking a few steps closer, he focused on the camera, a brow raising. "do you always take photos of people without their permission?" minho reached out, quickly snatched up the device, and deleted the picture of him without even bothering to glance at it. still wielding the camera, he leaned back against the fence, his expression hardening. "seems like i need to send yet another message to your parents. this land is /mine/. i don't appreciate other packs walking all over it without my permission."
@lee minho. The voice was not as surprising as it should have been. Admittedly Hyunjin seemed to draw attention to himself like a moth to a flame. Those looking for trouble, or creatures looking to satiate one hunger or another, they always seemed to find him. Raising his camera he snapped a picture of the man, the wind catching his scent and it struck something familiar in Hyunjin. It reminded him of that fateful night so many years ago. He wondered... but no, it seemed impossible for it to be the same wolf that made him into what he was now. "Maybe I'm looking to be snatched up." He answered, looking down at the picture he took. It wasn't bad, but he could do better. He was tempted to take another, but he didn't think he could get a better shot without getting closer and he didn't want to risk his precious camera.
@hwang hyunjin. stupid. why was it always the young wolves who never listened? minho always asked himself that question, despite already knowing the answer: immaturity. either that, or stubbornness. something inside of the pups made them want to seek danger. honestly, there were times when minho couldn't blame them since that fire burned within him more often than not. the difference between him and them, though, was that he had experience. minho wasn't ignorant. no, he wasn't even close to being the same as the wolf he currently was peering at through the heavily wooded forest. it seemed like deja vu... many years ago, he stood in this exact same spot just before attacking the young pup. he had to make a statement; he had to make sure that the pup's pack, specifically his parents, knew whose ground they were trespassing on. even after what happened, that threat didn't seem to stick, since their son was, once again, stepping foot into minho's territory. finally stepping out of the trees and into the shining moonlight, minho allowed himself to stand face-to-face with the other wolf, a scowl curled around his lips. "didn't you learn that it isn't wise to be alone outside this late at night? someone...or something...might snatch you right up."
@lee minho. It was getting dark, the moon was already hanging heavy in the sky as the sun began to set behind him. His camera held up to his face as he snapped a picture of the rotting wooden fence covered in graffiti. His shadow overlapping with the fading colors of the paint. It was a perfect picture, exactly what he wanted. It was nearly a full moon tonight, he wanted to get more pictures once the moon was the only light in the sky. Washing everything out into monochrome shades. It was his favorite time to be out in the city. The middle of the night was so much more beautiful than the harsh light of day. He never knew what he might find, what he might run in to. Occasionally the scars on his side would ache as the full moon crept closer, a painful reminder of exactly why he shouldn’t be out so late. He didn’t care though, there were pictures to take and if something inhuman happened to hunt him through the allies… well… it wouldn’t be the first time he fell prey to something that went bump in the night.
