@♡ : joshua h. She was exhausted from her schedules and yet she was buzzing with excitement. She had been high energy all day despite the slight dark circles under her eyes. Maybe it was because she drank a couple of cups or coffee; maybe not. All she knew was that, despite her body yearning for a nap in her comfy bed, she was looking forward to heading straight to Joshua's place. She didn't care that she was tired. She didn't care at all. Because she thought that, maybe, today would be the day when they finally made things official. Not that she expected it. Although, it would be nice. Really nice. Well, she liked him more than enough to prioritize him over sleep, so that must be saying something, right? And so, after her schedules, she headed home for an hour to take a shower, fix herself up so she looked pretty and awake and not-at-all tired, putting on the outfit she spent the night before putting together. She did not waste any time afterwards, driving straight to Joshua's place after sending him a text that she was on her way.

@♡ : xiaoting s. He pat down the pillows he prepared to build the cozy fort in his room, making sure it's sturdy enough to hold everything together. The fairy lights he hung added a soft glow, giving the whole moment an intimate touch making him smile proudly after all his attempts in laying them still. Joshua left the space right after to check on the chicken and fries he cooked for their dinner before serving them to his miniature dining area where he planned they would eat before escaping into his room for movies. Everything was ready, all except for himself. Joshua left his appearance with hair a bit tousled around, his blazer open, enough to let any curious eyes to take a peak on his abdomen. He figured to fix all that before Xiaoting would arrive.

@♡ : joshua h. "just like that," xiaoting murmured, all but burying herself in his wamrth. "thank you, shua."

@♡ : xiaoting s. "Sure, love." He smiles, resting his hand over her stomach and allowing his thumb to rub across it, giving more heat on the area for her to relax better. "Like this?"

@♡ : joshua h. She smiled, her eyes fluttering shut as her body melted onto the mattress. She scooted back just a bit, molding her body against his front until his warmth encased her entirely. "Put your hands on my stomach?"

@♡ : xiaoting s. "so cute." he coos before lifting her up in his arms. his feet taking them to his bedroom, laying xiaoting first before joining in. joshua took the blanket lying from the side, tucking them both in before cuddling into xiaoting.

@♡ : joshua h. "carry me?" she asked, pulling away to meet his eyes with a little pout on her lips. "i'm too lazy to move."

@♡ : xiaoting s. "i'd rather move us to the bed so i could take care of you better and you won't feel cold. period pain can come back right?" he pats her back gently.

@♡ : joshua h. "i'm okay," she reassured, scooting just a bit closer until their chests were pressed together. "unless you want to move to the bed and we can cuddle like that?"

@♡ : xiaoting s. he pats her back, soothing her hair down. "are you sure this is a good posture for someone like you on your period? wouldn't this be uncomfortable for you?"

@♡ : joshua h. she hummed, pushing herself off the couch to sit on his lap instead, legs on either side of his thighs. she wrapped her arms around his neck and drew in close, resting her head on his shoulder.

@♡ : xiaoting s. "in a way i love." he chuckles before kissing her forehead.

@♡ : joshua h. "in a good or a bad way?" she asked, reaching up to brush his bangs out of his face.

@♡ : xiaoting s. "nothing-." he shake his head. "you just made me really shy that's all"

@♡ : joshua h. "hm?" she asked, tilting her head as her eyes grew wide with curiosity. "what is it?"

@♡ : xiaoting s. his cheeks turned red with each word that escaped through . "w-well... i- i don't know- it's just- well," he was out of words.

@♡ : joshua h. she chuckled softly, leaning in to kiss his chin twice. she pulled away to look up at him, eyes glowing with adoration. "i think you're kind and compassionate, and the sweetest person i've ever met. i think you're a hard worker. i admire your tenacity. and i admire you, in general. i can't imagine not having you around at all, anymore. my mind revolves around you, now, and i'm still trying to figure out how on earth someone like you has taken interest in me at all."

@♡ : xiaoting s. his cheeks turned a soft tinge of pink. though, he still kept his stare on her. "y-yes... well, i am that serious about you. just..." he turned shy.

@♡ : joshua h. "meaningless?" she repeated the word as though she had never heard it before. her eyes were wide with fascination and perhaps even a little surprised—she didn't think he felt that deeply about her. "you mean that, joshua?"

@♡ : xiaoting s. he hums, thinking of how to say it to her. "you're very caring, sweet, even through tough schedules you still remain to be as strong as ever..." he whispers, "life is meaningless without you, xiaoting."

@♡ : joshua h. "but i wanna hear," she insisted, that frown turning into a little pout. "i wanna know."

@♡ : xiaoting s. "of how much i like you?" he was about to kiss her forehead again before looking at her, confused. "no- i- i don't wanna overwhelm you too much if i go overboard with it."

@♡ : joshua h. "put what into song?" she asked, a frown marring her features as she pulled away to look up at him. "do you only like me because i'm 'talented and pretty'?"

@♡ : xiaoting s. "i could put it into song, but i haven't composed anything like that yet." he chuckles and pats her back.

@♡ : joshua h. "is that all you like about me?" she asked, her voice soft and small. she buried her face in the crook of his neck, wrapping an arn around his middle.

@♡ : xiaoting s. "its a big deal for me, i wanna take care of you." he mumbled before kissing the top of her head softly, cuddling in her petite frame. "you're so cute... i like you a lot, darling. you're so talented and pretty." he kissed her head again.

@♡ : joshua h. "because it's not normally a big deal," she mumbled, closing her eyes and leaning her back against his chest, seeking his warmth. "but i'm cramping. i have tampons in my bag, don't worry. i just... hold me, please? and tell me how much you like me, maybe?"

@♡ : xiaoting s. he opened his mouth in confusion before shutting it. "ah- why didn't you tell me? do you have enough pads? what do you need?" he instantly pulled her close, rubbing her tummy softly. "my poor baby..."

@♡ : joshua h. "what did i do?" she repeated, blinking up at him with a little pout. "nothing. just-- period." she sighed, closing her eyes. "i wanted to get a lot done today but i couldn't because my dumb time-of-the-month made me fatigued and nauseous all day. i only stopped being nauseous like... three hours ago?"
