@♡ : lalisa m. although he didn't mind picking her up at all, he liked to about it. but the kisses she planted on his cheek made it hard for him to keep doing so. "who knows, you haven't even tried?" junhui turned his body, stacking the boxes on top of each other so he could carry both in one hand, trusting lisa to hold onto him tight enough for him to be able to keep her lifted with one hand. "alright, you've got a point there. should i feed you too then?"
@♡ : junhui w. she beamed, knowing full well how spoiled she was, because junhui didn't even hesitate to comply with her request, if not doing much more than she initially ask for. wounding her arms around his neck, she planted a multitude of kisses upon his cheek, before settling to tuck her face in the crook of his neck as he carried her around her house. "i wouldn't be able to carry you, so i don't think i will. besides, one of us is younger and therefore gets to be babied."
@♡ : lalisa m. laughing at her demand, the male tucked his hands under either side of lisa's armpits to help her up onto the couch before he lowered them to her . he cupped the sweet little mounds and got her to wrap her long slender legs around his waist. "you lazy . what if one day i get lazy, would you pick me up as well?" he joked, patting her once she was nestled against his chest and he was able to make his way toward the kitchen to get the lunch boxes he had prepared.
@♡ : junhui w. "a little bit?' she mused at his eagerness, holding out her arms out of pure neediness for his touch. "pick me up, i'm too lazy to get up myself."
@♡ : lalisa m. "oh, or, the dining room," the male shrugged, fine with either, but he was a bit curious what the area would look like. so he turned his hand that reached out to her around to help her up instead. "alright, let's go? I'm getting a little hungry."
@♡ : junhui w. "the dining room, you mean?" she had a grand room just for it. the problem was that she rarely had people over for dinner because she was so busy. "i don't know. you pick. either way, the cats are going to try to sniff the food, whether we like it or not."
@♡ : lalisa m. humming to her response, he wasn't going to pry any more in her past. "that's understandable, and nice, that you never forgot what started you on this journey. anyway, should we go get our lunch?" pushing himself from the couch, junhui put his drink down on the coffee table before holding his hand out to stop lisa from getting up as well. "should i go get it, or would you rather eat in the kitchen?"
@♡ : junhui w. "maybe both. maybe i was just cocky." she lifted her shoulders in a rather nonchalant shrug, although she remained silent for a moment as though she was really thinking about it. truth be told, she didn't really know what the answer was. "maybe, you know. sometimes i just reminded myself that i came all the way to this country to make something of myself. i couldn't bring myself to give up after that."
@♡ : lalisa m. "really? damn, perfect," junhui laughed, it being a very nice coincidence, or she was just being way too sweet. watching her put her coffee down, the male too turned toward her, letting her know he was interested in what she was about to say. "oh? i'd say that's very optimistic. you enjoy the little things? know the future will hold something good for you? or maybe you were just very confident in your abilities?"
@♡ : junhui w. "i do enjoy those! i have been craving dumplings and rice, actually. okay, hold on. let me put it this way," she cleared , reaching forward to place her coffee down on the table before turning to him. "if i went through five years and three months in training and actually enjoyed myself for the most part, would you consider me an optimistic or pessimistic person?"
@♡ : lalisa m. the excitement she showed when talking, had an equally as happy smile spread on his own lips. "i love that- the optimistic view of it. yes, things /will/ look up after the first sip," shifting around too, junhui faced the female head on as well. "would you say you're an optimistic person? i brought a bento box. it has different sorts of vegetables, some rice, and dumplings. hope you like those."
@♡ : junhui w. The compliment he elicited pulled a smile from her lips, big and bright and pushing aside the tired, just-woke up look from her features. She shifted around in her seat to fully face him, amusement sparkling in her eyes. "The first one is what kick starts your day. You know things start to look up from the very first sip. Don't you agree?" She chuckled, taking another sip. "So what did you bring for lunch?"
@♡ : lalisa m. "thank you," his head turned toward the female, although he didn't even have to check to know. "you look beautiful, always," he admitted, copying her move by taking a sip of his own as well. he had ordered the same drink as hers, curious about the taste, and definitely not disappointed about it. "yeah? i once heard someone say the last one, the last bite, is the best one. but i agree though, about the first one. because you crave for it, and finally get a taste of it, right?"
@♡ : junhui w. "Suits," she answered, plopping down on the couch. She patted the spot next to her, welcoming him into her space. "You look handsome today," she observed, reaching forward to pick up the cup of coffee. Without another thought, she carefully swirled the contents and took a sip, humming in delight. "First sip of coffee of the day is always the best."
@♡ : lalisa m. “i’m glad you like it.” his hand reached over to pet the cat while he smelled the beverage but before he actually got to touch him, he was gone already. “oh, what’re you watching?” junhui wondered aloud as he took two boxes out of the plastic bag he put down on the counter, moving one over to lisa while he kept one for himself.
@♡ : junhui w. "It /is/ a cute idea," Lisa chuckled, placing the drinks on the coffee table. Leo, as usual, hopped up up the table to inspect, but hopped off as soon as he got a sniff. Coffee. Lisa was sure he recognized it, did she not often get coffee. "I haven't eaten breakfast, either. I kind of just woke up, got ready for the day, fed the cats, then passed out on the couch watching my current TV show."
@♡ : lalisa m. with a shrug of his shoulders, the male entered the female's house, doing exactly as he was told. "you wanted to be spoiled right? and it sounded like a cute idea to bring you lunch," junhui stated honestly, the spring in her step not going unnoticed as he followed a few steps behind her. "or breakfast, in case you haven't eaten yet?"
@♡ : junhui w. "of course you are, i just..." she sighed, turning around to put lily down when the cat started wiggling in her hold. lily scurried off to the living room, probably to get more sleep, and lisa turned to junhui with a soft smile. "you're too good to me. come in. and yes, i love oat milk." she chuckled, taking the carton of drinks in his hand before turning to follow lily to the living room. "close and lock the door behind you, yeah?" she threw over her shoulder. she already sounded awake, and looked it, too, because there was a bit of a spring in her step.
@♡ : lalisa m. "yeah, i'm a little later than expected, but hope I'm still welcome?" a sweet smile decorates his features, eyebrows slightly raised in curiosity as he held up the carton in his hand; within it two iced coffees. "i didn't know what kind of coffee you liked, so i just followed the video you send a while ago - for as much as i could. and i could be wrong, but i feel like you mentioned you liked oat milk some time ago?" while inspecting the drinks, he noticed the ice had almost completely melted already - which wasn't a surprise judging by the weather. "can i come in?"
@♡ : junhui w. the sound of the doorbell startled her. she had accidentally fallen asleep on the couch, cats laying on top and around her, television playing a movie in the background, and the air conditioning whirring throughout the house. she must have jumped a little bit when the doorbell woke her up, because the ragdoll curled up on her chest let out a displeased whine. lisa apologized with a little kiss to the top of her head before sitting up, holding the cat to her chest as she slipped off the couch and headed to the front door with a groggy groan. with a soft yawn, she opened the door, sleepily looking up at her visitor with a confused sound. "jun? you're here..?"
@♡ : lalisa m. after making his way over to lisa’s place, familiar with the road and the neighbourhood by now, junhui stepped out of his car - two cold beverages in one hand, and a small bag in the other. as he rang the bell, he could all but hope she’d enjoy what he has prepared for her; coffee with oat milk and a bento box with various snack vegetables and dumplings. he had put quite a bit of effort into it, especially because he made each of them a share, but he was convinced her reaction would be worth it. and as a little bonus he had also bought a small packet of cat treats, because who was he to spoil the owner / mother but not her children.
