mortal cultivation

there are nine stages of qi energy to breakthrough to become an immortal.

each tribulation requires strong mentality, or else the practitioner may lose sight and go down the path of demonic cultivation (up to muns).

status:
rookie ‒ 1st to 3rd
(cannot see otherworldly beings)
intermediate ‒ 4th to 5th
experienced ‒ 6th to 7th
expert ‒ 8th to 9th
immortal ‒ 10th and beyond

immortal cultivation

upon achieving immortality, each realm have their own sets of cultivation to complete in order to gain a recognised status.

(ghost & spirits) ‒ 13 tribulations
as they do not have a physical body, they require more effort in order to get promoted to either a demon or immortal.
ghost have to wash their sins before they can attempt being an immortal.

(immortal & demons) ‒ 7 tribulations
immortal have another career progression after the 7th tribulation while demons rely on their mischief to garner status.

junior ‒ 3rd to 4th
senior ‒ 5th to 6th
elder ‒ 7th
deity status ‒ 8th & beyond

demon status:
private ‒ 1st
corporal ‒ 2nd
sergeant ‒ 3rd

captain ‒ 4th
colonel ‒ 5th (0/14)
sin ‒ 6th (0/7)
ruler ‒ 7th (only 1/7 can reach this)
