@yoo yongha ˡᶦᵏᵉᵃᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ It was exciting slowly getting to know someone new, but this had a whole new level of excitement for Daehyeon, especially since, so far, Yongha hadn't had any sort of distaste towards him just because of his race. One of the main things on his mind when applying for this sight was that he wouldn't be accepted by his partner. Of course, Daehyeon was sure that there was some sort of insecurity of his husbands end and though he wasn't sure of it yet, he wanted to seem just as accepting towards him.
"I'm looking forward to tasting what you make for us." He said, a hint of excitement in his voice. He watched as the other placed his clothes neatly in the dresser before walking back to his suitcase. Looking up when the other spoke up again, Daehyeon nodded with a small 'sure' letting him go. He waited paitently in the room while he had unfinished packing the things in his bag, and setting his other essential things neatly on the bedside table before sliding his empty luggage out of the way, hidden from sight. Sitting on the bed his back leaned against the headboard, closing his eyes for a moment waiting for Yongha to come back to the room.
@jang daehyeon ᵃʳᶜʰᶦᵗᵉᶜᵗᵒᶠʸᵒᵘʳᵈʳᵉᵃᵐˢ "Yeah, I'd be happy to whip up something special for us then." Yongha replied with a grin, feeling excited about the evening dinner with his husband. Until now he had been only cooking for the customers and few people around him so he's started to feel shy about revealing his culinary skill. He neatly stacks the clothes on top of each other and heads to the dresser to arrange them nicely. While returning to his luggage, Yongha pondered whether to cook grilled chicken or spaghetti bolognese. Both of the dishes were the only ones he had been considering, as they were his favorite and perfect for dinner to go with the red wine if they have one. He picked up the pack of toiletries for the bathroom and turned over to Daehyeon, "I'll go check what's in the fridge and fingers crossed, we won't need a last-minute grocery run.”
@yoo yongha ˡᶦᵏᵉᵃᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Daehyeon nodded his head once the other agreed, and once he got conformation that it was alright for the two of them to unpack, he continued to open his suit case. For the changeling, it was easier for him to get the small mundane tasks out of the way fist or he'd have put it off until it was finally time for them to pack up and head back home. So he was a little happy to hear that Yongha wasn't in a rush to relax or anything. "Oh, that sounds good then." He looked up at the other as he had grabbed a few pairs of pants in his hand ready to put them away. "Dinner?" He tilted his head curiously, but his eyes lit up at the thought. "You can cook? I think I'd be okay with whatever you think you make best! A surprise!" He said, walking over to the dresser to put the clothes he had away.
@jang daehyeon ᵃʳᶜʰᶦᵗᵉᶜᵗᵒᶠʸᵒᵘʳᵈʳᵉᵃᵐˢ Yongha chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his nape. “Yeah, eventually. It's just a bed.” He returned Daehyeon's smile, feeling reassured by his husband. It was gentle and comforting. “Unpacking sounds good to me and maybe we could explore later. It's fine to take it easy today since we just arrived.” he nodded his head. Yongha tried to mask his lingering shyness by settling down to unpack the luggage. His fingers paused over a familiar shirt, a fond smile crossing his face. Glancing at Daehyeon, he suggested, “I could make something for dinner as a celebration. Anything specific you're craving?”
@yoo yongha ˡᶦᵏᵉᵃᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ Observing the other as he waited for the other a gentle smile painted across Daehyeon's lips, as he reached a hand out, grabbing his husbands and squeezing it gently as he rubbed his thumb on the back of the others hand momentarily before dropping his hand back down to his side. "I'm alright with it, something we should get used to, right?" He said tilting his head his grin widening. It was easy for him to hide his nerves the more he talked. "We can unpack, rest a bit and then maybe take a look around the cabin? I know I'm a little exhausted after the flight." He moved to his own luggage, before pausing looking back up at his husband. "Unless you wanted to rest first?"
@jang daehyeon ᵃʳᶜʰᶦᵗᵉᶜᵗᵒᶠʸᵒᵘʳᵈʳᵉᵃᵐˢ It would be a lie to say that Yongha wasn't feeling a tinge of nervousness about the wedding. The idea of marrying a stranger was quite a strange but interesting concept to him. His heart was racing with a mix of anticipation and nervousness, wondering about the first impression his soon-to-be husband would make. Yongha was scared of the regret once he signed up and spent the night worrying about it but it was better than nothing. After learning that his husband is a changeling, he found it cool that Daehyeon could transform into anything he wanted. This was in contrast to Yongha who wasn't able to become a dragon. He was instead just a plain imugi.
When they arrived at the resort and headed their way to the room, Yongha didn't realize that they would in fact share a single bed. The obvious detail somehow never crossed his thoughts. As the reality set in, a flush of flustered nerves hit him at the thought of sharing a bed with his husband. "Uhm, it didn't really cross my mind earlier," Yongha admitted, his tone betraying a hint of shyness. He shifted awkwardly, glancing at Daehyeon. "I’ll be okay... I think. How about you?”
@yoo yongha ˡᶦᵏᵉᵃᵈʳᵃᵍᵒⁿ The wedding was something that Daehyeon wouldn't forget, but of course, who could forget getting married to a complete stranger? He was nervous about the entire thing and he had felt like baking out a couple of times, especially given his past but he didn't want to upset anyone, including himself from possibly missing out on this opportunity. Since meeting his now husband, Yongha, Daehyeon had felt things could go smoothly. Albeit he had yet to reveal his actual self in front of the other, but when signing up for the marriage, there was a bit of information given to the other, so his race was already revealed to the other, it never shook the feeling of him not being accepted.
Upon arriving at the resort with the other couples, the two of them had seperated from the others and found their way to their room, Daehyeon took both their bags and gently placed them on the bed that was given to them, a single bed. A thing that hadn't occurred to Daehyeon before this that they would be sharing the sleeping space, let alone the same bed. He turned to look at Yongha, pointing at the bed. "Are you okay with this?" Indicating the sleeping situation, though he was nervous he would never show it vocally.
