@Lilith Quartz Rome saw the bo walked out, he seem a lot better which calm the elder down since he didn't want him to hurt. The elder put the plates of food next to the lantern then he sat down "Please come join me. I won't hurt you" he spoke in a soft tone as his own eyes change colors "I'm...kind of like you,..." he wanted to mae sure the younger felt safe, especially with the storm outside he didn't want to make things more complciated "There a big storm, and in this town if you can't control your transformation they might get rid of you, so u can staay here the night" he spoke softly offering the plate of food to the younger.
@[SH] Rome Zeus - 11/02 The world was speaking out to him, weirdly. The rise of the tides and the waters rising. Felt like music to Lilith, oddly enough he loved storms. His breathing started normalizing, his eyes opening to look around. Where was he? Shaking his head, he carefully climbed out of the tub. Watching the water run down his body, humming curiously. Peeking his head out, he smiles at the man that saved him. "H-hey.." Ruffling his wet hair, he steps out. "I.. I hope I didn't say anything unnecessary. I feel somewhat better... Still warm. But definitely a lot better." The rumbling he could feel sent shivers down his spine. Oh how he wanted to be outside. Lilith sat on the floor, his hands touching the ground beneath him, eyes soon glowing green. With a loud crash of the waves, he used that momentum to strengthen the ground and close any gaps that would allow water to come into this home and any surrounding homes. Eyes closing as he could visualize and when he was satisfied with what he saw, he stopped using his powers. Opening his eyes to reveal his normal blue eye color, he sheepishly grins. "Fixed."
@Ambrose Wynne (RATED M / CONSENT WAS GIVEN FOR THIS POST)
Alec had enough of the younger attitude he scuffed a bit annoyed it was the first time ever that someone didn't do as he said nor was scared of dying. He actually was impress, however the crowd was getting a bit too drunk. He stood up to grab another drink, and three men from his crew walked over 'look at this cutie..disrespecting the captain' one of them said as he touch Ambrose hair. The other two sat down beside the younger, they spoke bad and ed things to him. Then they started to touch the younger back and arms. The crew started to laughed they though they would get a show, when one of the men got impatient and grip Ambrose hair making him face him he was about to kiss him. Then they heard a gun shot, and the whole place went death silence. Alec weapon was pointing to the person who fell death to the floor from a gun shot in his head. He glare at the other two as they let go of Ambrose and walked slowly back. The room felt intense, people began to shake from terror, does eyes of death scared a lot of them. They have seen the things he has done and mercy was never in his vocabulary.
"Did I say touch?" He asked the crew and all of them replied fast "No, Captain" he lean into the bar "Did I say you can have your way with my guest?" He glare around his eyes were glowing the blue was a bright neon blue and His green eyes bright neon. The lanterns were not justice for the bright eyes when he was angry, they all stared knowing someone else would die until he would calm down. Alec walked to the table he gran Ambrose by the arm forcefully as he looked at the crew "This one is not to be touch... he is mine....and if something happens to him by any of you... I will kill each and every one of you" he warned. Then he looked at the other two men "Now... do whatever you want with these two. " he order. Alec dragged Ambrose out, before they left Ambrose was able to see the crew Basically stabbing the other men that touch him for making their captain mad as he walked outside he threw the younger out. He light up a cigar "Get out of my face.... And don't expect the same mercy next time" he spoke in a deep dark voice as he was still angry he smoke and walked away from Ambrose needing time to calm down if not he would end up killing him too.
He walked until he reach the beach again, a rocky area he lay down and sighs as he finished smoking then he lay back looking at the sky. The water washing over him a but for this time he didn't care his anger always made him go slightly insane. Since he was in town he couldn't do much if he did he would get arrested.
@[SH] Alec Cross - 11/02 Ambrose had only a scowl to offer in response to the words - unimpressed as he had been since they’d met. “You have abducted me, when I have done nothing to you, and have never met you before this in my life. You are now threatening with an insinuation to have your men me. I am not going to be engaging in a ‘pleasant’ conversation with you at the moment.” His voice was slow, as if speaking to a child, looking away and towards the tavern’s entrance, paying the gun no mind. Admittedly, all he was craving was freedom, no longer finding the idea of diffusing the situation peacefully so appealing. Still, he refused to touch his drink, falling silent once again.
@Lilith Quartz Rome went to bedroom, he prepared a bed for the younger, a comfortable one. Since he put wood inside the house, he went outside and finished putting wood in the windows. When he walked inside it started to get comfortable and warm. It was cold outside, and before he close the door he saw everyone running to their houses since the storm reach its peek. He was happy he got everything settle, he even put small towels under the doors to prevent water from entering his home. The fire place soon was off, since water came down the chine. He put a big wooden frame to cover it, as he light up lanterns around the home, then he went to the room and light up a few to keep it warm, he went to the kitchen and finished making dinner and warm drinks for both of them as he looked at the bath room door hoping the younger would come out eventually.
@Ambrose Wynne Alec felt a bit annoyed, he had never been kind to mermaids and this was one of the reasons. In his mind he thought the mermaid was being rude and worst being disrespectful when he could easily pull the trigger. "Either you start being nice, or you can have fun with the men in this bar, and then after that maybe I'll spare your life" he warned as he took a sip of his drink. Why was he being nice? Was was he given this men chances and options? He raised an eyebrow to himself. As he stared as his reflection in the glass. His blue and Green eyes always made him stand out, since he was curse and yet not even his handsome face was able to get the man in front of him intrested. It made him intrigued, as he took another sip of his drink.
@[SH] Rome Zeus - 11/02 Lilith felt like the world was spinning, his head bobbing lightly, every step bringing an unbearable pain. Every inch of his body hot to the touch, he was starting to see doubles and it was not looking good. Maybe he could just rest? Sleep for days. He would be fine right? Not knowing what was really going to happen, he somewhat felt like he could be okay with this man. The hammering rang in his head, covering his ears lightly, he laid down in the hay. Relaxing, that was possibly the only thing he could do. In this state he was useless, he watches Rome move about. Lilith focuses on regulating his breathing, he felt exhausted. Could he finally rest? Lilith wanted to speak, but he couldn't really speak anymore. He was parched. Clinging to the male, he rests against the other's chest. Soon shivering and groaning quietly once he was in the water. "Y-you are doing plenty to help me. I shall try." He speaks up, eyes closing as his body was now resting in the warmth, his scales coating and covering his legs and up his torso. The storm was fast approaching and he could feel it's power. Lilith starts to relax, his breathing starting to even out. "H-home..."
@[SH] Alec Cross - 11/02 Admittedly, the man’s skin prickled uncomfortably under the glares of the men. He sat down with a great flurry of fabric from his clothes, cold, from his swim. “I would prefer not to have that happen, no.” He murmured with a lazy glower over at the man, not touching his drink before him. “Given that you’re wholly mistaken, of course. The sooner you come to accept that, the sooner we can go our separate ways.”
@Ambrose Wynne Alec walked to the bar were the rest of his crew was the moment they walked in. The crew stared at Ambrose he was beautiful, even when he walked he was just stunning. Alec sat down on a table by himself ordering drinks for both of them. He put the pistol on the table "Until I get drunk or tired....and yet your still not free...so might as well enjoy ot...unless you want me to spill that your a .....adventurous person a bar full of killer pirates.?" He asked with a slight smirk on his face. He just stared at Ambrose with his different shade of eyes, what was it about the man in front of him that captivated him? He could have killed him easily and yet he peek his interest.
@[SH] Alec Cross - 11/02 Slowly, Ambrose began to walk - the threat of the weapon was enough motivation not to try to make a run for it the moment he could. Wearing a faint scowl he fell silent as they walked towards a tavern - a competitor of where he himself worked, but he couldn’t much complain about where they ended up. It beat taking a bullet to god knows where. “Well then? How long am I going to be stuck here drinking?”
@Ambrose Wynne Alec continue to walk as he begin laughed "I'm the captain of a pirate ship. You can call me thief and people will just laugh" he stopped on his tracks then he turned around "I'm good at taking things, don't make me take more... or I can just shot you" he pointed his pistol at the person "Mermaids can heal, but if I shot you in certain areas you can't heal... I suggest you don't ask questions...unless you want the ...grosome details.." he spoke as he looked at Mermaid a bit better, he was quite handsome. It was a bit of a shock even for him.
@[SH] Alec Cross - 11/02 His patience quickly fading, the man jerked his wrist away, the band on his wrist safely hidden beneath his long sleeve, stick to his wet arms as they did. With a faint scowl, he rolled his shoulders back. The band itself had no adornment to speak off - plain, neatly intwined leather. Blessed as the piece was, it relied on no one part to it to help him keep his form - and he’d be dead before he allowed the man close enough to it to get a grip on it. The necklace he wore was simply a gift from another a long time ago - but he wouldn’t enlighten the other to that. Ambrose moved his hair out of his eyes, letting out a deep sigh. He’d humour this a little longer. Then he’d diffuse the situation and leave. “I fear I have no time for a drink this evening, my friend. I would like my belongings returned to me and then to go about my way. Unless of course you would like a run in with the law as a thief.”
@Lilith Quartz Rome could feel the younger body heat up as he tried to hurry, when he made it back to his cottage. He lay the young boy down in a pile of hay, as he close his windows. He started to use his harmer to block the windows since the storm was coming in fast, after he was done he went to pick up few buckets of water, his neightbors saw him and help him. They filled the back of his room with a lot of water and food. Then he waved at them good bye, when he came back in he put wood on the small fire place, and light it up "I'm sorry give me a few minutes" he spoke gently as he went into another small room, there was a small tub, but a person could fit. He pour water on it, as he use his own magic to warm it up. He added some sea salt, he added some lavander and some other herbs to help calm a fever, then he walked over to Lilith picking up and then he went into the bathroom area and lay him down in the water "Relax ok? once you are calm, please let me know. I'll make you food and bed. You need to rest, the storm won't be clear anytime soon, so I need to grab more water if both of us are going to stay here" he spoke honestly. He walked out and close the small door behind him, then he went to grab more food and water, it took him about thirty minutes until he finally finished. He was drained already, then he started to make some tea, and dinner for both of them. He had not been in the sea in years, and he wanted to know why the young mermaid was so far away from home.
@Ambrose Wynne Alec scuffed a bit, the fact that the man in front of him was acting as if he was completely black out drunk amuse him. He looked at the man again raising an eyebrow "I am not your friend, also you transform mermaid...I am not that drunk to the point my eyes can't work.." he scuffed a bit as he walked closer "However....we can play this game...I won't say anything, but you might need to return the favor..." he smirked a bit darkly. He moved the weapon close, but not too close then he back away. He started to walk away from the younger to the village and as he walked ".....Let's go have a drink...." he spoke as he started to hum, then as he walked he put on of his hands up holding the amulet (idk if you have an amulet or a bracelet). Alec knew better than anyone that mermaids needed does stones in those amulets for the mermaids to stay in their human form, if they got one drop of water they would transform quickly back. He smirked even more turning his head slightly "Let's go have fun shall we.... friend?" he spoke in a very calm voice as he continue to walk to the village.
@[SH] Rome Zeus - 11/02 There was a loud buzzing sound in Lilith’s head, like a whistle. Waking him from his unconscious state, his head lulled to the sides, sand clinging to his wet body. Danger. Lilith turned his head to see what was coming, thats when he saw the predator from earlier. Was he done for? Trying to drag his weak body further onto the beach, his eyes looked to the stranger that approached him. Human? No. His own kind. Lilith could feel the strong aura from this man and he felt at ease? He froze in place, yet his body soon relaxed at his presence. “H-hot.. I-i feel hot.” He whispers, watching this man healed him enough to have his legs transform fully. Lilith tried getting up on his own, struggling to keep his balance. “S-storms..” weakly clinging to the strangers arm. “N-name is Lilith.. Thank you for saving me.”
@[SH] Alec Cross - 11/02 Drunk. Even as a bartender, Ambrose had little patience for fools - some could hold their alcohol well, others could simply not. For a moment, he froze, hearing a faint click that made him pause in his tracks. Of course, the words had reached his ears, but he’d quickly decided to ignore them. Slowly turning around, his hands raised with a calm smile, the man tilted his head. “Friend, I fear you’re mistaken. Let us not do anything we’ll regret, hm? I’m our tavern’s bartender in the village, nothing more. My apologies for frightening you while out on an evening swim. You know how it is - sometimes you just need to destress with a little salty water,” He purred evenly.
@Lilith Quartz Rome was walking out of the forest when he notice a small fragil3 mermaid struggling. He raised an eyebrow when he saw some sharks and some weird fish things getting close. He walked as he stood in front of the mermaid, his eyes change color "Try getting close and you will loose your life" he warned as the preditors swam away. Then he turned around "You need to relax" he spoke softly as he looked at the injured boy "Your badly hurt let me" he spoke gently as he used his powers to heal a part of his tale that would let the young boy slowly transform back into his human form."There a storm coming. Come I'll let you stay at my home... you need to rest" he touch the boy leg to confirm the wound was good but the boy body was hot. He was sick, and he frown a bit. Mermaids that lost their ways were very hard to not get sick especially after being attack.
@Ambrose Wynne Alec has drank too much, even for his own standards. He had to get back to the boat especially hearing their would be a storm at night. They even said it would be dangerous so everyone had pack everything and went higher in the mountains. Alec being the captain of a ship needed to make sure his ship was fine before goingnto his hotel, he yawn a bit walking on the beach when his eyes caught a glimpse of a mermaid transforming into its human form. The elder private was drunk, but his hate for mermaids were the same. He smirked darkly as he continue to walked then he stopped after the young man had pass him "Rude....cruel...and disgusting....a mermaid among the humans" he spoke with his deep voice slowly turning he took out his pistol pointing at the mermaid "Turn" he order not able to see the persons face.
@Rome Zeus What had happened? Lilith was swimming away from a predator, injuring himself in the struggle and with no time to stop, it felt like he had swam for miles before exhaustion hit. The injury itself was somewhat healing, but from that he started getting a fever, the exhaustion the most tolling on his body. Lilith hated this, not getting himself to a safe place. His home. A hidden cove under the waters and debris of a fallen and wrecked ship. Lilith was swimming, half conscious and half unconscious. Like his body was just on overdrive and unmoving, he was losing it. Eventually falling asleep as his body was washed up on a sandy surface. The mermaid's eyes opening for a moment, it was warm. His body trying to transform into it's human form, but staying half transformed, his legs scaled and up his torso. He prayed that no human that could hurt him find him washed up.
@Alec Cross Practiced hands wrung out his soaked hair as he crawled from water to land, letting out a deep, shuddering breath as he found his feet again. He took a brief glance around. Alone, he concluded, he couldn’t see anyone who might’ve witnessed the transformation between sunlight speckled tail and long legs. Staggering some - the transition always a strange sensation, he rubbed the neat bracelet around his wrist, and hastened to wrap his clothes around himself. If anyone questioned him returning to the village, he was rockpooling, and the water had been significantly deeper than expected. Shivering some, he rounded a corner between the rocks, bare feet warmed against the sand, before he froze in his tracks. A man, not far away. Too close for comfort. Surely he hadn’t seen anything, right? With a slow nod to him, as if they simply went about their separate ways, he picked up his pace, trying to avoid conversation as he made to walk past the man.
