The friends to lovers note has a typo, idk where ‘orated’ came from. That sentence is meant to read that Kai realised his feelings for your muse later then maybe some of the other relationships.
I also didn’t realise the soulmates ooc note is a little janky too. I want it to be clear that although he appears to love you deeper then the others, he won’t be obsessed or OTT with showing his affection; it’s meant to be a more unspoken thing between everyone that, for some reason, you’re different? Idk how to put because he doesn’t love you more than the others or place you as more important. Maybe it’s because you’re his first- ideally his first with most things but that’s tbd. Idk, the connection for the soulmates one should just be more intense for some reason. Again: not more important, just different.

His love for all the boys is equal, he’d never even consider placing one above the rest but all(except maybe him, this is tbd) know that there’s something different, something inexplicable and all-encompassing about the way he feels about you; he’d not think twice about dying for the others, but he’d let the world burn for you.

It wasn’t easy- forming the first bonds of friendship but you and Kai made it, and your friendship is unbreakable. He’d call you his best friend, maybe you would too, but regardless of that; the both of you are partners in crime, inseparable even in the stickiest of situations. You manage to pry out Kai’s goofier personality easier than the rest, and you are someone that he doesn’t mind showing affection for in public. So it was only natural for Kai to fall in love with you, slowly but surely; feelings of wanting to further the fleeting touches from simple hugs to linking fingers or kissing you during a romantic part of your movie, jealousy when anyone vies for your attention, late nights watching movies have butterflies fluttering in his stomach. Natural, effortless, simple, it was easy falling in love with you; because you’re perfect.
+ this will be the relationship that Kai is orated in love with towards the end of the poly relo(aka before everyone agrees there’s mutual feelings between everyone) but he realises that, outside of the soulmate connection, you’re the person he’s been in love with the longest. It may not have been from day one, but it was always there- it just took him time to realise it.

One of the ways Kai decompresses after a stressful day is by retreating to his room and burying himself under the mount of blankets stacked on his bed to watch an unhealthy amount of television. You know this little routine well enough by now that when he comes storming in after classes that it's been an incredibly bad day; the slam of his bedroom door seals the deal for you. Sometimes he likes company, sometimes he doesn't- it's a real roll of the dice, but even though you might get thrown out, it's still worth it to check in on him.
