as she approaches the pods, she feels her heart beginning to race. her legs tremble, while her feet stutter in their steps. it was a good decision on her part not to wear high heels. most definitely, she would have sustained some kind of injury. taking a sharp inhale through her nose, she engages in some deep breathing—a habit she often defaults to when she's nervous. finishing her walk up to the pod door, she looks up, making sure that the light above the door isn't on. it's turned off—the pod is not being used by anyone else.

"h-hello. is anyone there?" she croaks out, gently clearing afterwards. not hearing anything but silence, she counts mentally to three, before taking the door knob into her hand. she turns the door knob, but the door doesn't budge. she looks at it confusion, wondering what's wrong with it. she tries again, this time with more force—still nothing. this would be her final attempt. gripping the doorknob once more, she leans her shoulder onto the door. it pops open, but retaliates. the sudden give causes her to lose her balance and crash right into it. "aishhhh—t-teru!" she quickly improvises, remembering that she was being recorded and that she had to watch her language.

rubbing the sore, throbbing spot just above the middle of her eyebrows, she walks in. she turns around, closing the door, but only before making sure that it would open from the other side. she did not want to get trapped. fortunately, the door opens without any issues. closing it again, she steps to the couch in the middle of the space. she sits down, before opening the notebook she's brought with her, unclipping the pen on its cover. "knock knock—w-what's a fox's favorite retail store? ... ikea, because of all the fur-niture ..."
