@♡ blinded_snakeᶠ it was nothing more but a fairly pleasant surprise. to be quite frank, juyeon had honestly joined the show without many expectations other than those he held for himself. he was to stay put as a cast member, get his job done, and that was that. until, of course, he’s unexpectedly swept away into the bottomless pits of conversation. and one that didn’t seem all that off-putting. for what almost felt like the first time since he arrived, the man felt comfort resonate in the form of another person. things couldn’t get any better than this. yet, surely enough, fate would appear to play tricks with juyeon. for comfort had essentially returned to being a luxury, especially when chaewon had appeared.
instantly did his boyish features quickly transition from shock at his companion falling over, to bewilderment at the random turn of events, and then disbelief at the female that had soon seized all semblances of space by his side. “chaewon,” he sighed. it had been too early for all this commotion. “i’m not so sure about that, but thank you for your concern? how.. have you been?” he added, his eyes warily following his former companion as she miserably swam to the other end of the pool, surely signalling an unfortunate end to what conversation both she and juyeon had.
@♡ blinded_pantherᵐ usually, living in a private paradise would appeal to the up-and-coming actress. despite the hidden cameras and the persistent interviews from production that couldn't mind their own business, it was peaceful compared to her life back at home. but chaewon couldn't find an ounce of peace within her, not when every corner of the sharehouse and resort was crawling with her past connections, bitter ones at that. the only time she was able to find some alone time was in the early mornings by the pool. she let out a peaceful sigh as she laid her belongings onto the chaise lounge chair only to realize she forgot her sunscreen. "ugh. almost perfect, i guess." she lifted herself up and disappeared for a moment to grab the tube of sunscreen she'd left on her vanity. when she returned, she was met with an unpleasant sight—juyeon.
her canines sunk deep into her bottom lip when she saw him smile at the woman in front of him. he never smiled at her like that. she scoffed, taking careful steps towards her chair that was conveniently stationed right behind them. "remain calm, kim chaewon. it isn't worth it," she mumbled under her breath. but as she got closer, she could hear him laugh. the laugh that used to sweep her off her feet only sounded like nails scratching on the chalkboard now. "excuse me cuties~!" she rolled her eyes, annoyed, and pushed past the pair gently, elbow nudging the woman a little too hard and sent her into the pool. "OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY! the poolside it's super slippery, we all need to be careful..." she turned to juyeon and tilted her head, brows furrowing. "juyeon? is that you???" should've sent him flying in there, too. "ah... you were in the middle of an important conversation, huh? I'm sure you can pick that up another time. somewhere else," she suggested, flashing him a cheeky smile.
