@♡ blinded_elephant ˢᵃⁿᵃ [ hhh only a month and 5 events late :zany: ]

in the silence of the pod where the only noise was the soft buzzing of the production lights, her sweet voice spread a smile from ear to ear. he closed his eyes to listen to her speak as if she were right before him. "elle is a cute nickname of elephant," he commented softly as she went on about her transition and, quietly, he was glad to hear things seemed to be going well on her end.

"i don't mind at all," he reassured her before answering her question, "there's a plethora of things i'd love to do with my future life partner, but i'd say something i'd like to experience with my future life partner specifically would definitely be to travel abroad and experience a variety of new experiences and memories together." he eyes wandered to the top of the set as he dreamed about all the things he's yet to do with the woman he's yet to meet. "how about you? what's the first thing you'd want to do with your future life partner?" he reflected her own question toward her, "anything you don't want to do?"

@♡ blinded_tanukiᵐ In the softly illuminated room, elle stood before the sleek, imposing door, her mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. Entering the show to find true love in the midst of hidden identities was not what she had in mind when she thought of the subject, and yet here she was, a door away from meeting her potential life long partner. It was almost too much one she thought about it. The pressure in finding the right person, and being the right one for whoever it may be that she was to meet. All she had to do was turn the handle and step into the room. The room of beckoning.

It was inevitable, and despite the bundle of nerves that surrounded her being, reflected in every minuet movement that she took, that she was to step inside and continue the show. That was what she was here for, after all. There was no delaying any longer.

it wasn't as if nervousness was the only feeling that swirled within her, it was only the most prevalent. There was also excitement, the opportunity to find a like minded person, no matter what their relationship would end up as, was simply, exhilarating. She had been too cooped up, too busy to really meet other aside from her close group of friends and family. Too engrossed in the different recipes that she could make. All the traveling from place to place for work.

Maybe this show was exactly what she needed. No, she was certain of it. And she wasn't one to miss an opportunity when it's so graciously bequeathed before her. That simply was not the type of person elle was. She was here to enjoy the show, to branch out of her shell as people would say, and she would make sure she did just that.

It was at that moment that his voice cut through the air, almost deafening against the silence that had lingered in the room. That was all she needed to regain her composure. After all, she wasn't the only one here who decided to step into the unknown, diving into the cold waters of sea in search of a warmth that they could claim as their own. He too, was in the same situation as her. His little introduction spoke well of that.

"Hi Tanuki, I'm Elephant, but you can just call me elle, it's much shorter and I'm sure having to say elephant the whole time will get tiring fast. Nice to meet you." There is mirth in her voice, calm and reassuring. They were to keep in contact for the rest of the day, and it just won't do if they were not quick to rid themselves of the awkwardness in meeting another for the first time. "I can't say I've met many people, but the few that I have talked to made the transition here much easier than if I was to handle it myself. If you don't mind me asking, as we're in a show like this, what sort of activities were you hoping to do with your future life partner?"

@♡ blinded_elephantᶠ nervous? no, it was excitement. tanuki could feel the electricity in his nerves as he opened the door to the pod where he'd have his first conversation with someone who could possibly be the love of his life. his dimples flashed the camera as he took a (not) nervous gulp before getting shocked by the metal door handle. "ouch!" he exclaimed before grabbing the handle firmly in his large hands as if he were punishing it for hurting him - talk about electric. he pulled the door closed behind him, pushing it just once to make sure it was closed shut before greeting his match in the open air, "hello?" he looked around, observing his surroundings before taking a seat on couch, rubbing his palms over his thighs - a nervous - sorry, not nervous - habit that probably made him susceptible to electric charges. "I'm-" he was about to blurt out his name, but paused to correct himself before making a mistake, "tanuki.. nice to meet you." his posture was proper and rigid, facing the other pod as if he were at a job interview. "have you been adjusting to the set well?" he asked, warming up with a little small talk, eagerly waiting to hear the other's voice.
