residents: residents are the lingering souls who have mortal attachments. they cannot move on from their past unless their lingering attachments have been resolved. They have temporary physical manifestations and are able to roam freely around the premises.
visitors can bring them out by carrying their ashes but residents cannot be seen by others (but the carrier) nor manifest into physical forms outside the columbarium. Be careful not to scatter their ashes as they may not find their way back.

resident guidebook
1. All residents are spirits that have not crossed to the other side. Their remains are kept in the columbarium.
2. As long as the residents reside in the columbarium, they will have a physical manifestation that only works within the premises. Residents that attempt to step out may find that people cannot sense or acknowledge them as humans. Residents may choose if they want to be seen by the visitors or not. Staff will be able to sense the residents' energy regardless.
3. New residents may take a while to get used to their new abilities. Staff are trained to help them adapt to the transition.
4. All residents’ ultimate weakness is their ashes. Misplacement or scattered ashes may lead to severe consequences. Other weakness are encouraged to make them unique.
5. All residents need permission to physically interact with humans. Humans are able to revoke their permission at any point of time. (Eg. Verbal: Yes / No. Non-Verbal: Nods / Shakes Head)
6. As residents may find more comfort being in their living forms, the columbarium is equipped with facilities that simulates daily living of a normal human. That includes having their own personal bedrooms, dining area, games room.
7. Residents are in no way allowed to harm any humans. If they do, they will be casted out and become homeless ghosts. Without the protection of the columbarium, they will be hunted and punished by the grim reapers before being dragged to the other side.
8. Residents are allowed to leave the premise if accompanied by a human. However, they will be in their spirit forms and can only interact with people who could sense them.
