@rico kim The day started like any other. He prepped the flowers and got started on the cookies. It qa a the one thing he could cook well. Hoseok had learned how to bake at a young age but never got the hang of it. He either burned the pastries or they would come out undercooked. But chocolate chip cookies were his favorite to cook, and he cooked them well. He took out the fresh batch of cookies and plated them in the display case.
He tended to his other duties, packaging orders, clipping the flowers and making bouquets. Arranging flowers soothed him and it was something that he liked doing. He took a break to have a light breakfast and then went back to it. After finishing what needed to be done, he sat behind the counter re-arranging some bouquets when he heard the door open and saw a small little girl roam in with another young woman. He smiled when he saw the little girls face light up in excitement.
He thought maybe she would like to pick out some flower since he overheard her. He got a basket and walked over and squatted down to the little girls levele. "Hey there sweetie, if you'd like for pick out some flowers, I have this basket here that you can fill up with as many flowers as you'd like." He smiled softly and handed her the basket carefully before standing straight and smiling politely at the young woman. "All the flowers don't have thorns; so it's safe for her to choose whatever" he smiled before saying a soft "enjoy" and left back to the counter to give them their space.
@lee hoseok The smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies wafted out from a flower shop caught the attention of a little girl. Small hand tugging on her nanny's, pleading to be taken to the source.
"Alright Nina, I'll take you there," the mid twenties young woman chuckles. There are no cafe or bakery nearby so it got to be the flower shop. The scent grows stronger as feer carries them closer. A bell ding when the door swings open.
The array of colorful flowers on display causes a pair of brown eyes to glint in fascination, "Miss Tan, I want flowers," she tugs at her nanny's hand again, "and cookies, please?" Those brown orbs look up pleadingly. Of course, her nanny would get them for her. Rico told her so unless she wanted toys. That she would have to ask her parents directly.
When Nina spots a man, whom she assumed to be the employee, she goes quiet and tugs her nanny to take her to look at the flowers. Whenever she accidentally speaks too loud, she would quiet down and glances at the man, afraid that he would be angry at her for being noisy.
