paces the floor, fingers cradling his chin with a deep furrow making home between his brows. he murmurs incoherently to himself, shaking his head every so often when an idea is subsequently dismissed after it comes to him.

instead of verbally answering, abel continues their walk back to his dorm. it isn’t like abyss requires permission every time to enter his abode, but abel appreciates the sentiment.

before abel even relayed his answer, abyss had already settled upon a decision. he already knew what his response would be, but it gave him a sense of fulfilment to know he was correct and hear it.
as you wish. shall we use the kitchen at your dorm?

given the chance to choose, abel halts his walking to think about his options. he usually doesn’t snack since he prefers to have meals, but there is a particular one that he would never refuse.

as abel’s demeanour shifts just slightly, abyss bites back a smile when he notices; despite his usual disposition, there were rare moments where abel would show a childlike innocence that only he could witness.

abyss’ offer catches his interest, and he stops midway to avert his attention back to abyss; fully turning his body to face the other.

tilting his head curiously in question as he walks alongside abel, he hums in contemplation.
i could make you a snack. it isn’t time for a proper meal yet, so i don’t want to ruin your appetite with something big.

abel quietly mutters, heading towards their dormitory to search for food.

immediately changing his expression to offer abel a smile as he turns to glance back at him, abyss gives a shake of his head in response.
i haven’t. are you hungry?

as abyss steps aside, abel immediately turns to step on the path. he looks over his shoulder to make sure that abyss follows him.
did you eat yet?

Watching Camellya's demeanour change, Fu Xuan only just sighed, she was used to this happening quite a bit so it never fazed her, however seeing glimpses of the vine Fu Xuan became curious perhaps a little too curious as the thought of cutting the vine to study it come to her mind before shaking her head, dismissing it. "I never meant it in that sense, but if it is your business it does not bother me, but uh perhaps you have not seen a small bottle that I left in this corner though? I do need it." After speaking the truth Fu Xuan took a few steps back almost tilting her head a full ninety degrees to just remain keeping eye contact before frowning. "Firstly you might of thought you where peacefully resting but it certainly did not look like it from my end and secondly I already told you, I need the bottle I left here." At this point, Fu Xuan's tone of voice silently turned shaky, if she cannot find it, knowing she was low in healing potion ingredients could mean disaster in the future.

her eyes darken as they land on fu xuan initially, quick to drop her sweetly curious facade and summoning a narrow, poisonous vine from her wrist with the intent of lodging it in the other's throat, but after taking a good look at the small young lady, she scoffs out a laugh nearly as short as the other. she meant well... and it turns out life had already dealt her a rough hand by making her tiny so she can spare her this once.
i believe me sleeping in a room full of others is my business.
she responds to her lattermost questions while ping herself fully from her sleeping bag to step out and stand beside her, trying not to pay any mind to the fact that she had to look even farther down than she was expecting as she converses with the other.
why did you wake me? it's not polite to disturb a person peacefully resting.

After seeing the back of both Abel and Abyss she returned to the couch, frowning in thought that, perhaps making conversation was not the correct way to make friends. Slumping down with a small sigh she , once again, absorbed her compass into an orb of water before closing her fist entirely, completely disintegrating the entire broken compass by altering the atmospheric pressure that resides in the orb. "Suppose I will just have to buy a new one." With yet another sigh of frustration she just slumps down further into the couch, uncertain as to what to do now, yet also stares at the door, pondering as to who would come in next.

silently standing by and waiting for an order to act, abyss turns his head to the side as he regains abel’s attention. he gives a small nod of his head and turns on his heel, stepping to the side to allow abel passage and lead the way.

abel doesn’t speak another word throughout beidou’s monologue, still staring at her blankly before she decides to step away from the (one-sided) conversation. he shakes his head and the top of his doll again, finally averting his sight to abyss.
abyss— shall we go?

This time, Beidou folded her arms, focusing on him for a little while longer before looking away from him, pondering a little more before sighing. "Really? if you are not a monster, how did you end up there? along side myself, I have been deemed a monster my whole life, albiet not thinking of myself as one." Frowning at the other possibilities shes merely just shook her head. "Never heard of such a title? perhaps sir, just perhaps .. you are lucky." Growing more frustrated, Beidou just gave one last sigh in defeat before getting up and walking over to a window, silently staring and pondering about herself.

a monster? how preposterous, he thinks. if anything, rarely anyone approaches him other than abyss — or maybe that is the reason why. regardless, mortivex has a reputation of not being a friendly bunch, but he never cared about it.

Fu Xuan could no help but be entertained slightly upon the sight of Camellya stirring, yet with entertainment came confusion as to why and how the other slept in a room with so much commotion, looking away to see the weird pirate girl on the couch talking to two handsome looking men before staring down at Camellya as she spoke. “Whom? Myself?? I am fu Xuan, some people call me fusion.” She shrugged before sleepily rubbing her eyes. “Why are you sleeping here? Yet again I also cannot blame you for sleeping any where you seem fit, but In a room full of others?” She trailed off to only just tilt her head at Camellya.

Looking over at Abel she smiled, a sly smile however. “Oh yes I recognise you, unfortunately but also fortunately.” Mortivex, Beidou does not understand why she was sent there but she just had to accept the fact that she was. “So I assume, people have classed you as a monster too? Yet perhaps also not.” At this rate Beidou was just generally curious as to how Abel become in Mortivex, but yet after pondering it was best push him even more.

she feels the nudge from a foot and hears someone speaking to her—in fact, it causes an annoyed twitch and furrow of her brows—but she tries to continue sleeping anyway. at least, she did until more people came piling in. her eyes open with frustration and she s part of her sleeping bag to stretch out her arms, rolling over and more into the room's light so she can get a good look at all the people making all that noise she keeps hearing.
...may i know the name of the individual who was kind enough to kick me awake?

based on beidou's behavior, abel concludes that the woman is quite... domineering. however, he recognized her from past encounters in their dormitory, so they /must/ have something in common — it certainly wasn't personality.
i am abel walker from mortivex. we met before.

Beidou looked up upon feeling eyes upon her, shaking her head she pointed at her compass before clicking her tongue. “I have your attention now, I know nothing of the other, the one in pink however is the medic.” Her voice was a little louder, yet still silent due to frustration before encompassing her compass in a small water bubble and sends it flying towards the wall. “Stupid thing. Nonetheless who are you? You have what seems like an interesting aura, Sir.” Leaning back against the couch, she crossed her legs, intrigued upon both the men.

overhearing beidou's utterance, abel stares (almost too intensely) at beidou. he doesn't say anything, merely petting his puppet as he continues watching beidou's fidgeting.

Looking over towards both men, she sat up from the couch, playing with her broken compass silently, she did not know what to think of them both so remaining silent, Beidou just stared at them, turning into a small smirk.
Turning her head to look at the other women she shook her head and muttered silently. “That is until you need to be healed.”
Pulling out her broken compass again, she growled in frustration as it was not repairing the way she hoped.

immediately snapping his gaze back down to the two strangers so he could glare at them one last time, abyss gives a huff of agreement before turning the other way.
right. they aren’t worth your attention.

abel doesn't spare a glance to abyss, still focusing on the other two before turning his head towards another direction.
never mind them. i do not want to engage with foolish behavior.

quickly manifesting at abel’s side, abyss stands behind him to peer down at the other two in the room with disdain. only when his attention is turned back towards abel does his expression brighten.
shall i remove them from the premise, lord abel?

ruckus appears to be a common occurrence at the institution. it has gotten so frequent that seeing a young lady sleeping in the midst of nowhere does not surprise him. instead, he blankly stares at the girl (and the other one), unsure how to interpret the situation.

Walking into the room, Fu Xuan could not help but stare at the whole situation that was going on before giving a small sigh.
Walking to the person in a sleeping back and gently nudged it with her foot. “Hey! What you going sleeping here for? Are you lost?” Waiting for a response, yet uncertain as to weather it would come or not, she just stood there, staring again while chewing on her fourth chicken kebab stick again, in an attempt to wake up Camellya with the scent of food.
