Kwangju is the kingdom of war, it always has been and as much as the current Dominos would like to change that, it always will be. More of a passing town, Kwangju houses the palace's army and the wives of soldiers gone to battle. Kwangju women aren't particularly know for the usefulness, more so their beauty. Their husbands are never home, so as long as they can run a bath and cook a meal once in a blue moon... A pretty face is what truly counts, although a full skirt and a plunging neckline never did anyone any harm.
Occupation wise, there is little to be found in Kwangju apart from the scattered inns and the many blacksmiths... All the shops are heavily aimed towards the visiting warriors, so the finest armour and weapons in the whole land can be bought here.
The Kwangju palace is know for their beautiful gardens, their embellished throne room, lack of slaves, and flicker of magic. With the reign of the openly magical Dominos Yixing, magic is now no longer a whisper in dark alleys... At least not in Kwangju. And despite Yixing being harmless in his ways; a healer. It has driven the kingdoms further away in their fear of not only being attacked by the biggest army. But the prospect of being held captive by magic. However, is still a very rare talent, and very, very few are born with the talent. Even if they have been gifted with it, most people never notice unless they are taught to unleash it.
There is one last feature that distinctly defines Kwangju, and that would be their infamous coal mines. Deadly and toxic, more men have died there than in the feats of their wars. It is the employment choice of the desperate and the punishment of those soldiers that defy their king, or those who prove cowardly or useless in battle.
