In the wake of this influx of visitors, many young people, entranced by Hanbit's serene beauty and sense of community, decided to put down roots in the town. They saw the potential for growth and redevelopment in Hanbit's newfound popularity. The town's real estate market began to thrive as old buildings were renovated, and new, eco-friendly accommodations sprang up, catering to the diverse needs of both tourists and newcomers.

Hanbit is an OC AU-driven roleplay. Your characters are in an alternate universe with different names than their faceclaim names.

Please be mindful of others. Keep all rated posts, images and content in DMs and walls. Refrain from posting rated/ or engaging in rated discussions in spaces that are not tagged rated(M).

We discourage face chasing. Do not bubble chat or RP. There is no dating ban, and we allow move-in couples. However, if your partner is the only person you are roleplaying with, you will receive a strike.

This community runs on a three-strikes system. Failure to comply with any of the general rules will earn you a strike. You will be removed after three strikes.

Inactivity is set to 30 days. We ask for activity checks in the form of an active thread. Please provide a link to the thread in the checkpoint room. You may not use the same thread for activity checks three times in a row.

Please prepare a profile picture within the first 48 hours and a basic profile by the 10th day. we will also be asking you to let the admins know when you are finished your profile in the story review room so we can ensure that it fits the story hanbit is trying to tell so your character is a fitting part for hanbit's story progression, A basic profile should at least provide the details required for plotting and writing. You may retrieve your characters after three days if you are removed from inactivity. You will receive a strike if you are removed for the second time. You will then have to wait a week to reclaim your character. If you are removed for the third time, you cannot reclaim that character anymore. Please be mindful and stay active for each of your characters.

Your character must be 21 and older, internationally, IC and OOC. You are allowed to have NPC children. We discourage anyone from joining as a face claim involved in significant scandals, someone deceased or face claims that do not wish to be roleplayed. We welcome characters of all nationalities, orientations, genders, pronouns.

Four characters per account will be allowed. You may earn your second by upvoting, and you can secure your third with a minimum of one thread each on both of your current characters. For a fourth, you must be in the RP for at least a month, have three threads each on all three of your characters and a blog post.

You may reduce and increase your character’s age by 3 years, and as long as your character age is not under 21
