In a distant land, in an era long forgotten, five mighty wolf packs laid claim to vast territories, their borders stretching across landscapes eerily reminiscent of ancient China and Korea. These lands were shaped by expansive forests, winding rivers, and serene lakes—each pack’s homeland a unique reflection of its soul, bearing distinct traits that embodied the spirit of the clan it housed.
At the dawn of time, the Wolf God, Fenrir, created the first wolf, molding him in his own divine image—strong, fierce, kind, tempered, and wise. From this first wolf, Fenrir gave birth to the leaders of five packs, each born with a vision to guide their clan. However, as the wolves grew in power, a great conflict emerged between them, for they lacked defining traits that separated one from the other. Their strength alone was no longer enough to maintain peace.
Seeing the growing discord among his children, Fenrir, in his boundless wisdom, knew that balance was needed—each wolf must have a strength and a weakness, a gift and a flaw that would shape their clan's future. With this understanding, Fenrir took his divine core—shimmering with celestial light—and shattered it into five parts, each corresponding to one of the four cardinal directions: North, South, East, West and Center.
He then placed a fragment of this core into the hearts of each pack leader, imbuing their souls with unique powers that would forever define their clans. As the wolves slept, the power of Fenrir’s gift took root, and when they awoke, each found within themselves an elemental affinity that tied their essence to their land, forming the core of their clan’s identity.
Yet, not all was peaceful in the wake of Fenrir's intervention. Darkness soon descended upon the world in the form of a rogue wolf, consumed by bloodlust and rage.
During a fateful Blood Moon, this wolf tore through villages, both human and wolf alike, leaving death and devastation in his wake. His rampage sparked a fierce war between humans and wolves, the once fragile alliance shattered by the violence.
The five packs, divided in their views on how to approach the conflict, each offered their own solutions. Some advocated for a ruthless war to reclaim dominance, while others called for an immediate ceasefire, seeking peace with the humans. The lands were torn asunder by years of bloodshed, the world standing on the precipice of annihilation.
In the midst of this chaos, the wise wolves of the Gusu Lan pack rose above the fray, led by their revered Alpha, Lan Qiren. Known for their deep knowledge and insight, the Gusu Lan pack proposed a peace treaty between the humans and wolves, offering a glimmer of hope where none seemed possible. Reluctantly, the packs and the humans agreed, and an uneasy peace was forged, halting the bloodshed but leaving scars that would never fade.
However, The Lanling Jin pack, once revered for their elegance and strength, met their tragic end at the hands of humans during a violent conflict ignited by the pack's insatiable thirst for power.
In the aftermath of the war, the Gusu Lan pack founded Fenrir Academy, a sanctuary where young wolves and humans could learn to coexist in harmony, honoring the wisdom of the past and striving for a future of unity. It became a place of learning, not just for the mind, but for the spirit—a place where the ancient teachings of the clans were passed down, nurturing a new generation of leaders, warriors, and scholars.
For centuries, Fenrir Academy has served as a beacon of hope, its halls echoing with the wisdom of the past and the promise of a future where wolves and humans might live together in peace. Today, Lan Luhan, a venerated member of the Gusu Lan pack, serves as the headmaster of this esteemed institution.

general rules

Age Requirement: This is a mature, 19+ roleplay. All users must be 19+ years or older OOC to join, as mature themes will be discussed. Anyone found lying about their age will be banned immediately.

Triggering Content & Safe Word: As a mature roleplay, triggering topics are permitted, provided both parties consent and a content warning (TW) is given at the beginning of each plot. The safe word is “pineapple” – as soon as it’s used, the other party must immediately stop.

IC and OOC Drama: In-character (IC) drama and complex storylines are encouraged! Discuss ideas with others if you wish to coordinate. However, out-of-character (OOC) drama is strictly prohibited. Previous drama history may result in a declined application. Applicants with a history of unnecessary drama will not be considered.

Three-Strike System: Violating the rules will result in a strike. Upon receiving three strikes, the user will be removed and blacklisted from the roleplay. Face chasing (targeting specific characters for relationships) and god-modding (controlling others’ actions without permission) are strictly forbidden. Let’s give everyone a fair chance to enjoy the roleplay!

Face Claims & Character Age: face claims of international and asian idols aged 19+ are allowed. In-character (IC) ages can be adjusted to suit the storyline, but face claims must be suitable for a mature roleplay. pw: holy fenrir! However, an 19 old cannot change their age to 30+ and vice versa!

Respect Others: In Bloodlines, we value respect and creativity. Respect everyone’s boundaries, give others the opportunity to interact, and remember that everyone deserves a chance to enjoy the roleplay.

Activity Check: You must use the IC chat or the tags room to demonstrate activity, as OOC rooms do not count toward activity.

Hiatus & Semi-Hiatus: Both a full hiatus and semi-hiatus can last up to a month. Requests for an extension require a valid reason and must be made in the “Inquiries” room. Failing to respond to inactivity warnings will result in removal from the roleplay.

Multiple Characters & Points Requirement: Each user may have up to 3 characters. For a second character, you must earn 100 points with your first; for a third, 500 points and a blog post are required. Users with inactive characters may not apply for new ones.

Inactivity: Inactivity is set to 7 days. If you receive an inactivity warning, you have 48 hours to resume activity. If this happens twice, you will be asked if you need a hiatus. If no response is given, your character will be removed from the roleplay, but not deleted. If you cannot commit to being active at least 3-4 times per week, please do not join. We expect members to engage consistently and be a part of the roleplay's ongoing story.

Relationships & Mating: Move-in couples are allowed but must be declared in the application form. Relationships can develop at any time as there is no dating ban, while mating is permitted only after one month in a relationship. Character Change & Count: Character changes are unlimited but should not be abused. If a user chooses to leave or is removed, the character will be deactivated rather than deleted unless deletion is requested.
