Then she moved her hand to tightly gripped the beta's face by her jaw as she looked at her intently, "It is rare for someone to be a child of both Wen and Lan, you are one of them." Taeyeon smirked while forcing Joohyun's face to tile from left to right to look at the feature of her face, especially the eyes.

"For a reliable one, you sure had been through a lot." She said before she lets go of her face before she starts to look at the lake, the water rippled through wind and the reflection of the sky distorted on the water's surface, the other half of reality is twisted and cruel. Just like the land and the sea. Taeyeon looked at the sky and saw that it is getting darker as the sun is running thin from the horizon, "The reason why I dragged you here is because I would like to see your wolf myself." She said, "Your wolf had done something from my soldiers that they can never forget in their lives."

The young omega stared at her phone screen with an incredulous look crossing her features, her short hair flipped in the breeze as golden kissed, blonde strands sway with every little nudge the wind passed by and blessed onto her. She was taunting the person on the other end of the text and she wanted to know if they genuinely were following her. How would she even know, her nose even her omega— Lucy, isn't picking up much of a trail. Whoever it is, seem to have disguised their scent or a least hid it properly, which caused her to worry a little. Her omega wasn't catching much as she'd like to nor was she comfortable but she decided it won't hurt that much — if it was someone who knows her, right?

Deciding to shoot the unknown number a quick text, she pulled her phone back out, noting the person didn't reply to her, causing a furrow in her brows in confusion. They seem to know chaewon like the back of their hand and they wanted to reach out, so why the heck are they radio silent now?! Shaking her head in frustration, a low snarl leaves her lips as Lucy paced within the back of her mind, showing how uneasy she is, unsettled, hair standing at attention and fangs bared.

With that being sent, the pixie haired girl, started undoing her blouse, tugging off the silken material that has the jiang emblem and her student year sigil before starting with the pleated, plaid skirt she wore for classes today — yet, here she is skipping out as per usual. They dragged Joohyun like a sack as she blinded her with a cloth, this is kidnapping. Someone from Qishan Wen wanted her in a very bad way. They heard the other mentioned their boss as lady before they took off the cloth from Joohyun's face and her sight adjusted to the surroundings around her.

Joohyun's face only had a scratch and popped lip, then she glared at the boss who had kidnapped her: Wen Taeyeon.

"What do you want from me?" She asked, the only question as to why she was taken away by her men, "I don't have problems with you elsewhere, Taeyeon." She explained as she tries to sit up from the ground while her hands and feet were tied up. "Why are you doing this? Why did you kidnap me?" She added as she tries to adjust her wrist to loosen the rope's binding. But then she tries to remember something, was this about her wolf? She made sure she chained herself up every full moon when she shifts into wolf. Maybe that one time she trespassed into Wen's territory. "I... Is it because of my wolf?" She asked another, knowing the only reason why she is here is because of that one tragic event Hela let loose and slaughtered a group of soldiers in Wen territory.

They never caught the wolf whom mercilessly slaughtered them. They said it was from their ranks but she questioned enough soldiers from their pack, a wolf black as the night, eyes red like blood-- The description is enough to make her question whom within their pack.

However, she had just found the answers within the academy. Meeting a certain Lan professor, seeing through her eyes, a pair of blue and red. A half-blood, tied between Lan and Wen.

But deep within those eyes, lies something ferocious, something dangerous. She can also sensed the intimidating aura just by walking passed by her, is she the one who trespassed their territory? The one they called the kind and caring Lan professor, Lan Joohyun.

Taeyeon waited by the dock of the lake, sitting in a sturdy wooden chair while two of her trusted Wen guards are beside her. It was dusk at that time, the sun is setting, but when the full moon comes, they will know if she is the culprit who slaughtered them. A group of Wen soldiers dragged the Lan professor, tied and bound with ropes, her head covered with black sack to obscure her surroundings.

"My lady, here is the Lan beta you wanted." One of them said as they knelt in front of her, recognizing whom they are serving for, "She put up a good fight, but we outnumbered her." They explained before Taeyeon swished her hand, wishing to see the face of the Lan herself. One of them harshly removed the black cloth away from the Lan professor's head.

When she finally see the face of the woman she wanted to see, she smirked. "Put her down." She commanded and they obeyed before they put the tied woman down to the ground, "Lan Joohyun, it's nice to meet you again. But we're not inside the school so I won't be nice to you all through out." She greeted and looked down at the beta on her feet. "As you can see, we're in the lake. So it would be much easier for me to drown you if ever you try to escape."

despite his rough behaviour, heejin was attracted by his possessiveness around her. it's makes she feels loved — maybe it wasn't love, but heejin wants to think it that way. by holding onto that small of hope, that changkyun would be able to look at her the same way, heejin stood stronger and be able to live until now.

"ah well, i guess I'll just have to work part times after this, so i can pay that to my professor. " said her, as she clung onto his neck tighter. hiding her reddened face when people starts to give them looks.

His breath was shakey due to the coldness that clung to his body from the wet clothes. He would be harsh to Heejin for making him jump into the cold lake however he had to in a breath to not lose his temperment. Almost losing her life and losing the camera was punishment enough he felt. And besides, he was carrying her to the nurse. Anymore injuries and the nurse would look at him for attempted murder instead of the h task he took on.

"The camera is expensive. You're in trouble with whoever supplied the cameras." Out of the forest, kyun was reaching the campus. Ignoring the eyes that laid on them, Kyun remained straight forward in silence.

@☼┊wen changkyun ᵃ heejin clung onto his neck when he started to pick her up in bridal ways — one way to makes her heart beat so fast right now. heejin holding back her smiles by biting her lips when the male starts asking ( read : nagging ) about her being in the water clans but didn't know how to swim. "ah, i— i was surprised and panicked when i fall into the lake —so i couldn't think of anything at that time. which is why I'm drowning. and i — er i have some photography tasks to do." she answered with a soft mumbles and a small pout formed on her lips. "but my camera is gone now."

@❀┊jiang heejin ᵒ Just as quickly hands wrapped around his wrist, Kyun's gaze pierced down to Heejin. He in a breath before agreeing. Upon taking her hands away from his wrist, Kyun grabbed his phone before picking up the omega. Her legs dangled over his right arm while her back was support by his left. The acadamy wasn't far and he thought this would be quicker.

"What made you go into the lake in the first place?" Kyun spoke after moments of silence. Branches and twiggs crushed at the bottom of his shoes as he hiked on through the small forest. "You're from Jiang pack but you can't even swim?"

"t thank you, kyun-ah. i— i am grateful that you are the one who s-saved me." said her with a small stutter, since it's pretty cold. she know he's about to dismiss her after this, but heejin just couldn't let him out of her sight yet — well. she quick to grab his wrist. "c can you please take me over there then?" asked her nervously. her gazes went elsewhere as she bites her lips, didn't dare to meet his eyes. "i am scared."

Dark gaze loomed over the omega as she started to come back to life with questions. Not even a thank you for saving her. Instead he is hit with her ungratitude. His face was unexpressive. Water droplets fell from his fringe framing his face and beads of water danced along his skin.

"There is no god." His tone flat. "Also, you should thankful to someone who risked his life to save yours." Changkyun was sharp. After a moment, he stands up and helps Heejin to stand as well. "Go to the nurse. You need a check up."

@☼┊wen changkyun ᵃ heejin was unconscious—that much was certain. all she could think of in that moment was death. maybe god wanted to take her so she could finally rest in peace, and she didn’t mind at all. with everything that had happened in her life over the years—the pressure, the tension, the abuse—how had she even managed to survive this long? it felt like she had been dying inside all along. maybe—just maybe—god had chosen the water to be her final resting place, a peaceful end to her suffering.

but before she could fully embrace the thought of peace, her body jerked violently. she coughed, sputtering as water poured from . her chest heaved as she gasped for air, her lungs burning. panic and confusion clouded her gaze until her eyes landed on the man crouched beside her—the man who had just saved her.

heejin’s chest tightened, a painful pressure that wouldn’t release. “kyun,” she muttered weakly between heavy breaths. her vision blurred with tears as she choked on a sob. “w-why…” her voice cracked as her tears spilled freely. “why did you save me? i thought… i thought god was calling me...”

@❀┊jiang chaewon ᵒ He needed this honestly. The last few days, the last week or so, had really taken a toll on him. So much so it seemed that it had started to make him physically unwell too. He'd spent most of the morning hurling his guts up in between trying to attend classes, but thankfully the nausea seemed to of dissipated by the time the afternoon rolled around. To be sure he had swung by the infirmary to get checked - aka, by orders of Jungkook - and she'd dismissed it as being a stomach flu so off he went down to meet Chaewon.

He seemed to reach the lake first so he slipped his shoes and socks off, rolling the pant legs of his school uniform that he hadn't bothered to change out of up before sitting down on a rock nearby to sink his feet into the cool water, breathing a heavy sigh of relief at the coolness.

@❀┊jiang heejin ᵒ It's mornings like this that made Changkyun's mood boost. The air is crisp at dawn and the sun is just waking up. There is a band that held his phone securely around the muscled bicep. Music played through his canals as he brisky held a good paced jog through the forest and towards the known lake. Usually there are small squawking of birds bouncing off tree to tree however thanks to the bumping bass through his ears, Changkyun was oblivious to them.

Upon jogging towards the lake, his eyes caught sight of someone falling into the lake. He saw the wrestling of water and the rings fading out. Silent and still the lake had become. No, it's not his problem. Pretend that nothing happened and carry on. His feet shuffled towards a different direction before halting. "God damnit," A string of curses fell from his lips as he stripped the arm band off of him, tossing his phone to a safe place before running into the water. As the fire clan, water was very draining to the alpha. Changkyun risked himself as he got the female into his arms and swam to shore.

Carefully, he laid her on the ground. Unresponsive. He couldn't leave her like this. What do they using do? Oh right- Changkyun's hands clasped together and pressed into her chest, pumping in a forty five second count, quickly attaching his lips to her and breathed. unbeknownst to her, she had ventured dangerously close to the edge of the lake, distracted by the water's allure. suddenly, she slipped on the wet path and fell into the lake. panic set in as she struggled to keep herself afloat, her movements frantic and uncoordinated.
