nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: Soon he was off again, plodding on, alone in his consciousness. He was edging the city now, passing the worst of the houses, some merely just a frame, most without wolves. But the few who were there watched him evidentially, dragging his feet in exhaustion, trembling in desperation and unknowing of what to do. He was out of ideas now, and that hadn't happened before. He sighed softly as he passed the final house on the way to the park he'd been directed too, his arms moving to roll out knots as he keep moving with all his family supported by him and him only.
He met a pair of hazy purple eyes then, old and wise in age, clouded by many years of protecting probably the most vulnerable house in the whole city, and Chanyeol could help but watch for awhile, taking in what he could become before he turned around to finish the last hundred metres to his location. The last of the glow in his eyes fading.
But his back was soon met with an endless howl, a roar into the night sky and he spun again, staring in disbelief in the wold that had just been staring him down. He was howling for him. It was soon a chorus, the sound echoing like Chinese whispered before it ghosted all over the outer tier of the city, lighting the way for Chanyeol's tears to fall.
This wasnt you're regular chorus, not an alert. Not a message. Not even a prank, nor an urge just because the moon was high. it was a salute. A salute to the latest group of wolves to be shattered by human cruelty. Everyone knew that sound, for it echoed to often, the tears of a hundred wolves, crying for a pack brother. This town really was a pack, all the wolves had the same hopes, all suffered the same and all, even be it somewhat secretly, craved the thrill of freedom, of escaping into the forest. Of breathing the fresh air they knew did lie there.
They never did.
And now Chanyeol was broken, and tangled in the dying grass of the abandoned park, the wolves noise soon folding into silence as his own quiet sobbing replaced it.
"S-Sehunnie... What are we gonna do. They're gonna find us soon enough, and we wont make it far enough into the forest. I'm too weak for that right now...and you're.... Hunnie you have to hang on okay! Y-You can't leave me... Just hang on a little longer, I'll get someone to help you. Ajumma, the infirmary, anyone! I don't care if they lock me up for erirnity...theyre going to anyway. Im a killer now, Hunnie. A cold murderer. And I'd be surprised if they let me live.... B-But, but as long as your okay. Then it'll be fine. Right?"
Chanyeol sighed gently, wiping at the heavily flowing tears on his face as he placed the other in the grass, the sound of the guard drawing closer and closer. He shifted ready, standing protectively in front of his family. Ready to fight to the last breath.
He fought hard, but they came more prepared this time, this wolf killed humans, he was surely very dangerous. And falling under to the guard all Chanyeol could do was sob desperate pleas.
"I don't care if you lock me up! I won't fight! I won't argue just please. Help Sehun. P-Please....
nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: Solemn, pitiful. Desperate and broken. Chanyeol supposed that's what he would have looked like if anyone saw the way he was trudging down the street. But would they even think that? Did the human population even care about what happened to him? His family? His mate who was currently stuck in a state passed unconscious, who was wrapped in a tattered blanket he'd found at Hyuna's house, who was hanging limply from his cradled arms? Or what about his pups? The small whimpering balls of fluff that were ambling behind his feet, sniffling and trying to stay as close to his legs as possible. Small terrified and unknowing of the world they were now passing through.
Did they even care? Did the even give a solitary piece of thought to the broken wolves padding through their streets.
/Slaves/.
No they didn't.
It was dark now thankfully, so there weren't many humans about to bother him, especially not in this section of town. They were all behind boards, the occasional wolf lazing by the door; tired and overworked. Like always.
It was those creatures that gave him the piteous glances, pairs of tired and yet still glowing wolf eyes raised to the broken group plodding down the street, heading for the edge of town, to where the darkness creeped. Where the humans wouldn't think to go until the sun rose.
Away. Home. Further than they'd ever gone before. Was it even possible to stay safe forever? Chanyeol didn't know anymore.
It was when they reached an abandoned looking house, one that resembled the house of his old master, that Chanyeol snuck inside for a moment, looking for a bag he could tuck the pups inside, so they could rest while he walked. But the eerie house had Chanyeol spinning to often to snarl at apprehensive shadows and grabbing the closest, most suited item, he scampered out into the streets again, rathering the clouds of darkness than the human confines. It was what he had always preferred.
He sat himself in the street to rest awhile, hesitantly checking over the bandages he had thanked the abused, lady wolf profusely for. He also managed to bundle the sleepy puppies into the limp back pack he had gathered, tucking them in with trembling kisses to their ears before he snuggled them inside.

xH_Oh Sehun: "Umma," Sehun turned abruptly, confusion swallowing him whole.
Who was that? Sehun didn't recognize the voice, but he could tell it was a child's. A male's. He looked at Seongyeol, but the boy had his head tucked into Soojung's fur, her orange hair, her fur.. "Umma.."
Sehun began to panic. That wasn't Seongyeol's voice. "Umma.." Sehun looked to his side and his eyes widened as wide as they could muster. There was a young boy next to him, lengthy brownish-black hair that was neither straight nor curly, but a harmony of both. His eyes.. His eyes were silver, and Sehun could see a fleeting speck of gold in them. He had Chanyeol's double lids, the same curve of his eyes, but Sehun also saw his own in them. He had Chanyeol's eyebrows, as they were upturned in a pout that resembled Sehun's.
This boy.. Was he their third child? Sehun's jaw dropped as the boy wrapped his arms around one of his legs, clinging to him, and Sehun felt a strong connection to him at the moment of contact.
This boy was, indeed, the child growing inside of Sehun. Sehun reached down and picked him up, hugging him, and shielded his eyes. He didn't need to see his current state in Chanyeol's arms, and he wished he could do the same to the twins..
Seongyeol sniffled a few times before looking up, catching two faint lights on the other side of the room, lights that didn't originate from the sunlight bathing the room with its amber glow. He stared at them for a moment, a whimper escaping him as the smaller light lifted slightly. Seongyeol nudged his sister gently, directing her to look at what he was seeing, to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. Soojung looked, and jumped slightly, a giveaway that she saw them as well. Soojung was just about to tell their father when a commotion sounded outside of the room, in the hallway. The puppies scurried under the bed instinctively, poking their noses out simultaneously as the door opened.
A female entered, a maid who smelled slightly like a mutt, with a medium sized box. Her eyes were glassy as she closed the door and she frowned upon hearing the angry snarls from the twins. "Please, I'm not here to cause any harm, little ones.. I want to help your mother," She spoke softly, immediately going over to Chanyeol and dropping down in front of him. "I can clean his wounds and stitch some up.. But I don't have much time. Neither do you.. You all have to escape, it won't be long before the center is called to take you back along with him and the puppies.." She whispered, opening the box.
Sehun watched on, squinting his eyes at the woman. He knew she meant no harm, but he had a hard time placing..
Then it occurred to him.
The dog! Or, as Sehun could see now, a wolf. Was she bonded to a worker in the house? If so, why was she kept locked up and in a dungeon? Sehun shut his eyes, thinking about what she must've went through, if she was tortured, if she was slowly broken to the point where her wolf form was a true beast hell bent on spilling blood. He shivered, and the small child in his arms nuzzled into his neck, soft breathing signaling he was asleep. Sehun smiled faintly, though everything bled to black as the she wolf unwrapped the makeshift bandages in order to tend to his numerous lashes.
The girl frowned at her finished with. Due to the sheer amount of lashes, she couldn't stitch them correctly in their limited time. She did, however, clean them all and stitch the side carvings, though the words became more apparent and clear. She taped the gauze and bandages around Sehun's torso and stomach, bowing deeply to Chanyeol as she stood up. "I'm sorry, but that's the best I can do.. You have to go now; there's a park in the lower class that's never maintained. You could hide there for a few hours, but no more or they'll find you, and I'm terrified of what will happen. Please, take care, and good luck. Be strong.." She whispered, shifting into her wolf form. She snarled crazily, fur bristled and matted, and leapt out of the room with a venomous growl, snapping at whoever was nearby, gaining a distraction so Chanyeol could escape with Sehun and the twins.
xH_Oh Sehun: Sehun walked aimlessly, trudging down a narrow corridor blindly, gripping at his elbows with his claws. His eyes were dull; once a neon green now a dirty sludge. They were clouded, shielded, losing their color as the life was slipping out of his body. That light.. That beautiful light was enticing Sehun, so he moved forward as if it were a magnet. There were no pictures or videos or voices; just the hollow and echoing click of the soles of his shoes as he walked on.
Hyunah had whipped him for a total of thirty times. Thirty times that blade dug into his skin, thirty times it shredded his skin, tore open new gashes that were deeper than the ones made with glass. This time, the blade embedded itself past his skin, dug into the muscle just before being pulled out; only for the process to repeat. Sehun had instinctively tried to hunch over to protect his stomach, protect the new life growing inside of him; the baby he conceived with his mate, with Chanyeol, but he couldn't. The fourth lash to his stomach, number fifteen, is when Sehun stopped feeling pain. Eighteen was when he could no longer hear the snap of the leather, the whistle of the blade, or the whimper of Seongyeol.
Twenty-two was when Sehun's body felt light. Everything was floating in his blindfolded darkness. Hyunah's laugh was blurred as he drifted from reality. Twenty-seven was when he let go, thirty was a seal.
Sehun refused to let go, he refused to die, refused to leave his family, refused to give up.
So he opted for slipping into a vegetative state; a coma. His body shut down, his heart ceased pumping, his brain went into recovery mode, ordering the light in his body to gently channel and slowly heal him from the inside out. The light created a shield around the growing puppy, protecting it, as Sehun temporarily died, falling limply in a rapidly growing pool of blood.
Sehun grunted as the light vanished and he walked straight into a wall, knocking him back into the darkness as he stumbled. He hugged himself tighter, a return pulling on his lips as he looked around. He was in a void; an inky blackness where he couldn't tell where the floor ended and where the wall, or sky, began. Total blackout, yet he could see himself clearly as if he was the sole light source. Sehun dropped to his knees and curled in on himself, leaning against the wall.
"Chanyeol.. Seongyeol, Soojung.." Sehun sniffled, nearly in a ball at this point.
"Appa, appa..," Sehun snapped his head up, looking around desperately as he heard Soojung's voice. "Umma's not moving, why?"
Sehun shivered. Chanyeol was there with their twins and they were both seeing him in his comatose state. He never wanted them to see that, and he fought back the strong urge to heave at just the thought. He knew he was bloody, lashes littering his back, chest and stomach; profanities carved into his sides. Sehun's stomach fluttered and he clutched it, looking down at it worriedly. "You.. Are you?"
His stomach fluttered and churned once more and Sehun sighed in relief. Their baby was fine; it was still alive. He stood up slowly against the wall, pushed it and quirked an eyebrow as it seemed to bend.
What?
Sehun pushed, pushed, pushed again until he fell through, eyes clamping shut as he anticipated a hard surface to fall on; but it never came. Instead, when Sehun opened his eyes, he saw four figures.
Soojung and Seongyeol huddling together near Chanyeol, Chanyeol holding his limp body wrapped in sheets. Sehun froze as he saw tears fall from Chanyeol's eyes, the puppies' glistening and whining.

nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: Mind still clouded with blood thirst and a odd rage, Chanyeol telepathically asked his pups to wait outside the door for a moment before with a terrifying snarl he leapt inside, furry paws hitting lush carpet. There was no one in the reception room, and so with crimson vision, Chanyeol shifted. Still snarling, and still driven by the reeking smell of his mates blood.
Maybe that was still in there, maybe she was still carving his Sehun, but with another growl and a thump up a few stairs, soon people were scurrying out of their hiding holes, wondering why this male was back again.
Most recognised him, despite how long it has been, and it seem as the devil herself made herself apparent, that she did as well. The shocked Hyuna didn't have much of a chance to react before Chanyeol had his forearm pinned against , his eyes glinting dangerously.
Chanyeol was gone for now. There was just a beast.
Just a wolf.
"I warned you..." Chanyeol growled deeply, and as a strange flash of red took over his golden irises, his twisted his arm and the girl fell to the ground, limp, broken. And surrounded by the screams of her household.
"Seongyeol! Soojung!" calling the pups in now that the deed was done, Chanyeol's blood cooled just a little and he bent down to scoop the pups into his arms before shielding their eyes as stepping around Hyuna's corpse. He tried not to think about what he'd just done, just that it was necessary.
He warned her, he warned her...
Chanyeol was quick to push through into what used to be and what once again was Sehun's room and he choked t the sight inside, tears welling as he hid the twin from it. But he needed his arms to he tentatively placed them down with an incoherent whimper, asking them to pull the sheet off the bed as he knelt at Sehun's side, tearfully pulling the other into his arms.
He cradled Sehun gently, his hands flitting in confusion as he had no idea what to do, he tried to quench the blood flow with his hands before the twins brought him the sheet and he quickly began to rip it up, making bandages and tight torquinets to stop the blood flow. Anything.
And then he cried.
Cause he wasn't a doctor.
Cause he didn't know what to say.
And he could smell the fifth presence in the room.
nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: Red. Chanyeol didn't remember how long it had been since he had seen this much red. And soon cradling two puppies in his arms, he was puzzled at how suddenly everything was tinted in the blooded shade. But it wasn't that confusing really, not when he thought about it. Chanyeol was made. So blood boilingly angry that everything was now tinted to that pigment and he growled lowly, holing the twins protectively as he darted into town.
The looks he got were strange, but they always had been; so it wasn't anything that came to Chanyeol's attention. He was too focused on the tunnelling red of his vision and the streets of which he has to turn to get to the right house. He was having trouble remembering to be honest, he was still weighing of the tranquilliser side effects, and plus the fact he was trembling with range and carrying pups..... He couldn't exactly find a house he'd only been too once before. But finding a set of large black gates that looked somewhat familiar and that cause a whimper from Seongyeol that he had to nuzzle away; Chanyeol was pretty sure he found it.
He had one thing to do though, before he kicked down the fence and tore Hyuna's throat from her neck; and with a simple tilt back of his head he placed the pups on the ground and rolling his neck muscles he puffed up his chest and howled. Deep, strong, and hallucinatingly terrifying; despite he was in human form and with that, Chanyeol broke open the gate and stepped through. Puppies trailing a few steps behind.
He was in wolf form before he was halfway down the drive.
He was snarling before he reached the steps.
And Hyuna was dead before anyone could snap their fingers.

( I could go on....but I'll leave it here for now. OTL
I hope it's okay...)
nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: Dull gold met panting parted green and auburn and Chanyeol whimpered, scurrying over to the bars only to collapse beside them, mirroring his whimpering crippled son as he stretched his arms through the bars, reaching for him. Soojung had also stuck her nose out the cell in a similar matter, the little black muzzle nosing her brother paw with a whine as she also tried to decipher what the other was saying.
"Seongyeol! Seongyeol baby calm down, please. I don't understand, what happened to your umma? How did you get here? I-" Chanyeol was cut short as a sudden onslaught of crippling images filled the depths of his mind. Videos, images sent from his own baby boy of his mother, tied to the bed, lash after lash being placed on Sehun's fair skim. Blood splatters up the walls and on the furniture. . .... Chanyeol shrieked, tangling his fingers tighter in the young boy's for as he resisted the urge to claw his golden eyes out.
He couldn't watch any longer, he couldn't see anymore. Not as his mate was clawed apart, and the fact Seongyeol had witnessed all that was only half the reason Chanyeol was on his toppling feet, of why he was so desperately trying to open the door, of how his kept throwing himself time and time again as he hoped for it to give way. But it didn't bend, and all too soon Chanyeol crumbled, falling in a heap at the bottom in a pile of tears. Sehun was hurting. And he couldn't get out.
Soojung wasn't happy with her fathers years so as soon as they began to spill she lapped them away as they came, nuzzling her father until he felt better. Seongyeol whined, Chanyeol breathed.
"S-Seongyeol baby. I need you to be very grown up boy. Arrasseo? You have to help your appa and your sister get out of here yeah? There should be a key in here somewhere...." Chanyeol frowned when he realised Seongyeol would have never seen one. "It's a small piece of metal, with a unique jagged edge and a circle top....Can your find it?" teeth met bottom lip, and up his courage Seongyeol began to sniff around the room; searching for this mysterious "key". He nose snuffled all over, his small legs lead him up on counters and chairs, until finally, after what seemed like forever for a mate knowing his pair was suffering, a sudden tail way gave Seonyeol away before he bounded over to Chanyeol, the key indeed between his teeth.
"Appa? Is it right?"
"Neh! Ahh my Seong-bi, you're amazing. Ta for appa, then we'll go rescue your umma okay.
Chanyeol was twitching with the need to get moving as Seongyeol gently dropped the key into his outstretched hand, and using his oversized human fingers Chanyeol twisted it until it was opened and he and Soojung flew out, all three of them bolting through the prison until they reached facility tiles.
A faint, question "Chanyeol?" may have been called as they passed a cell, but it was long gone now, and none of the running wolves had noticed it.
They forced on, and although Chanyeol kept stumbling woozily, the whines and nuzzles of the puppies at his ankles kept Chanyeol going. He led them through hallways, sneaking the infants past guards and personnel until finally they made it out sound, and a simultaneous whimper of all three filled the air. Moving them onwards.
Seongyeol's legs presumably gave out not long after they started running, as he had already made the long trip once, and for such a small pup it would have been twice as long. And so he bundled the youngest up in his arms, carrying him as Soojung ran by his feet.

nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: Soon, as the smell of strange cement filled the little pups nose, she gave up on her appa's limp ears and instead made way to nuzzle herself beneath his chin, hiding between his paws as they were dragged past a large group of wolves. They were whispering odd things, not nice things and Soojung whimpered, earning herself a few horrifying glances.
They dispersed inside a big solid rock, but it smelt different to their cave back home. Soojung was too young to remember being here before, and so looking around the seemingly new surroundings she couldn't help but whine as everything got deeper, as they started to go down. As it got darker and colder. Soojung didn't like it, she didn't like it, and she snapped angrily as her father was pushed behind columns of metal and rungs of chains. The pup obviously followed and she began to wail and howl painfully as she head a door slam and keys slink away. "Appa..."
--
It was a little while before Chanyeol awoke, his body shimmering in its drunken state before he unconsciously made it to human form. A head of curls raised, glazed eyes squinting through the darkness as Chanyeol's vision faded him once again. He couldn't see yet, not as the drugs still affected him, not as it was still too dark for damaged eyes, and so sitting up with a groan, Chanyeol dropped down to his more animalistic senses, letting his sense of smell guide him.
He was back in the centre, the cement and stink of wolves gave that away. He could fell Soojung faintly too, but before his fatherly instincts could kick in, another smell caught his pallete and he reverted backwards this time, to his childhood. Blind eyes filled wit tears, rough, bony fingers reached out the wall. "Umma..." the scent was there...Chanyeol could smell it. She'd been here, and judging by the collection of scratches his finger ran over; a long time too.
He could see it behind his hazy eyelids, the collective whit fur of his mothers wolf, lacing this room, bashing against walls. Howling for the pup left back in the forest, the pup that didn't deserve to be trapped in here as well. The pup left in the butterfly grass.
Chanyeol.
He was sobbing now, bawling incorrectly as he grasped at her scratches, desperate for anything left of his mother. He'd been deprived of her too soon, and now his own puppies were separated. But not left out in a better place; No. Trapped in prison cells, split between their parents. Longing for something that may not ever happen again.
Something young pup eyes shouldn't have to see.
"Umma, I'm sorry." he whimpered gently, resting his head against the cold brick of the wall. He'd failed, he'd failed so bad. He was caught, trapped here like she'd sacrificed everything to avoid.
Trapped with his own pups, that he, himself had failed to protect....wait...
Soojung!
Suddenly coming out of his homesick daze, Chanyeol's weary eyes scanned quickly around the room until gently they befell a curled human child on the corner. Waves of gold coating her shoulders, and tears obviously shaking the young child, Chanyeol knew from the ghostly flashes that it was his daughter, and so dragging his drug induced and still trembling body over, he reached for her with shaking hands, skin evaporating to fur with the simplest touch.
He was right, she was crying, and he cradled the ball of fur to his chest, a hand occasionally appearing to grip at his shirt. He rocked her, wiped her tears and whispered soothing apologies, telling her that Sehun would be back, that Seongyeol was okay. Every aching thought of his own mother he burried for her, although it was so irritatingly hard when his own daughter's eyes echoed his mothers so solidly.
But he did it, he did it for he as they bother trembling the corner of the ancient cell, surrounded
By rusting metal and shivering under the draft; they rested their together for much too long. Leaning on each other, until a familiar pair or clumsy footsteps awoke Chanyeol from his daze.
nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: {soundtrack; B.A.P - Oneshot. This could be interesting)
They were still too close. Still much to close. That's what had echoed in Chanyeol's mind ever since they'd first entered the seemingly perfect cave; since he'd stolen a twin to cradle and feed to save Sehun the hassle, since he'd kissed the forehead of his sleeping mate before disappearing out into the flowers to play with the pups. Ever since.
They were barely over the line, he knew they were pushing it. In fact, he was staying with his parents deeper in than this when they got dragged back,
But like most new parents, when there's a will, there's not always a way. And there wasn't, not this time around. The cave here was too well suited. Easily marked as territory, brimming with resources, and with soft earth for the twins to roll in, Chanyeol pushed the thought of moving to the back of his mind.
The pups were growing, Sehun was healing. That's what mattered right? It'd be okay...It'd all be okay..
Wrong.
The months of freedoms were numbered. The hours spent dragging back food, guarding, protecting putting every measure in place. Wasted. Wasted as the centre came knocking on their door.
It was Chanyeol's heart that was shattered the second time he was dragged back. With the time spent in the forest, the gold in his eyes had at least doubled in intensity, and he'd somehow grown from the fresh food and the environment he belonged in. He'd been thriving amongst the trees, at home at last, stuck in wolf form again, with out the need to change once more. He didn't even care as he felt his human form thin from lack of use. He didn't care. He was free.
Free to watch his pups thrive in the sun. Free to rock love into his mate when they're heat came around, free to notice something amiss in Sehun's scent a month of so after. Free again, and although he missed the touch of his parents, and the flit of his butterflies; Chanyeol reminded himself that he had created his own family now.
And they were all they needed.
But now they were being dragged away from him, and Chanyeol hadn't even heard their kidnappers approaching. They grabbed at Soojung and he snarled, howling to the Sehun who was being dragged away with Seongyeol. He cried, he snarled, he snapped his jaws and teared at skin; all with a frightened and wailing Soojung hiding between his legs. But despite his futile efforts, he didn't last long, some fluid being jammed harshly into his back before with a woozy cry and a snarling topple, Chanyeol was out cold on the ground, Soojung caught half beneath him and the wolfs around him all rather impressively injured. Chanyeol was strong, stronger than they expected.
Cheat or die.
They somewhat pitied the small pup that was stuck underneath her father, rear legs caught and whines painful as she tried to stir her father so he could remove herself. But no matter how much she whimpered "appa" the large dappled wolf was irresponsive, ears down flat and skin bleeding in a few spots.
"Appa, appa wake up!" Soojung was glad to be free when they rolled Chanyeol onto a tarp to make it easier to drag him along, and being not as bold or as strong ad her younger brother, Soojung snarled from a distance, bounding up to stand on her fathers shoulders to glare at all those moving him. "Appa where are we going! Appa! Umma....I don't want to leave them! Appa wake up!" yelping as one of the wolves snapped their jaws a little too close, Soojung cried, pawing, petting desperately at her fathers ears as the scenery kept changing. Her paws nudged, her fingers pulled. She was desperate. And too small to do anything.
It was obvious that although smaller than her brother, Soojung was more advanced. And unlike her brother who had taken so much after his father, the female pup took more so after her mother, and therefore was able to turn more at the early age. She was still young yet, a month or do until she was officially of age, but Soojung was still turning, in flashes, in ghosting flashes. In fact several times when she'd been clinging to he father as she often did, Chanyeol had seen her paws flit into tiny hands for a moment, seen her hair develop into long orange waves, and her eyes flash bright blue in an human almond shape. It only lasted a second, enough for the little girl to reach out for a flower before reverting back to her puppy form only to crush it with her paw. She was so close to doing it, and in a stressful situation she was flitting constantly in fragment second flashes.
She was neither wolf nor human, and she was scared.
HS_Lu Han: They were dropped off inside the house, Hyunah smiling sweetly at Sehun, though her face twisted into an evil grin upon seeing the fairly big puppy in Sehun's arms. Sehun shielded Seongyeol immediately, though he had to run when Seongyeol bit Hyunah's hand. She had tried to pet him and Seongyeol growled in warning, not liking her automatically, and he snapped faster than Sehun could stop him. He was just like his father, because even at his young age, Seongyeol had powerful jaws. Hyunah's hand was a bleeding mess as Sehun could glimpse just before he ran upstairs. Seongyeol whimpered and whined, sputtering out apologies as Sehun closed the door to his old room.
"Umma, umma..!" Seongyeol whimpered, backing away from Sehun when he set him down. Sehun shook his head, getting down to hug his frightened son. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.. I don't like her, umma, I want appa and noona back.."
Sehun hugged Seongyeol tightly, though he had to hide him under the bed as he heard the telltale stomping of Hyunah herself edging closer to the room. "Stay quiet, okay? Please.." Sehun whispered, immediately getting up and going to the window. He opened it and looked down as Hyunah walked in, enraged. Seongyeol carefully stayed quiet, watching his mom and Hyunah with his eyes. He had a full view, and he nearly jumped out when Sehun was slapped. Seongyeol clamped his eyes shut, though, when Hyunah pulled a knife out from a drawer, a whip with a small blade attached to the end, rope, tape and a blindfold. Sehun was forced to listen to her commands, their bond still locked in his mind and he knew it was the only way to prevent her from searching for Seongyeol.
Hyunah taped Sehun's mouth, to prevent him from howling, and blindfolded him. She made him remove his shirt, smiling at the old scars. Seongyeol grimaced, but stayed silent otherwise. Hyunah tied his arms above his head similar to last time, and immediately set to carving '' and '' into both of his sides with the knife. Seongyeol whimpered very quietly, sensing the pain his mother was emitting and not liking that red liquid coming from him. He'd have to show Chanyeol this, so he reluctantly watched. Seongyeol jumped a bit when Hyunah began whipping Sehun, more of the 'red stuff' coming from Sehun. Seongyeol nearly cried, however, when Hyunah laughed and ripped the tape off of Sehun's mouth, the blindfold afterwards, and asked him a question.
Sehun didn't respond. His eyes didn't open, his mouth didn't move. Hyunah lashed him again, no response. She cut the rope holding his arms up and Sehun fell immediately to the floor, not moving. Blood was pooling around him and Hyunah hissed at the sudden headache she got, blaming it on Sehun's bad blood. She then began looking around for Seongyeol, dropping to the floor to check under the bed after a while and smiling devilishly. Seongyeol could only smell his mother's blood, and it was too much. He had to get to his father, quick, and he quickly bit Hyunah's hand and nose before scurrying out of the room, down the stairs and out of the door that a maid was opening.
Seongyeol cried the entire trip, tripping and falling over branches and roots, just thinking about how his mother didn't move, how that red stuff was coming from everywhere and making a puddle on the soft floor. His his mother's eyes were closed. Seongyeol couldn't help but think it was his fault; he'd bit Hyunah and then that happened. Seongyeol ran faster, sniffing and sniffing the air for his father and sister. He managed to get to the center before long, his legs feeling like jelly and he was totally out of breath. He followed the scent and found himself in what seemed like a prison in the center. Seongyeol didn't like this place, not at all, but Seongyeol flopped in front of the correct cell.
"A.. Appa..," Seongyeol hoarsed, edging closer to the bars. "Umma.. Umma is.. Appa.." Seongyeol trembled, unable to talk properly. So, he settled for sending Chanyeol the gruesome images, video, of Sehun being cut and whipped and how limply he fell to floor when Hyunah untied him. The blood was all over the room in splatters. "Appa.." Seongyeol wheezed after sending the video, curling up into a ball of terrified fur to cry.

HS_Lu Han: It was during month eight that Sehun went into heat, whining at Chanyeol in his human form when the puppies were outside playing. He'd never experienced the need to mate this badly, so Sehun really didn't know how to act, though he did manage a normal facade when the twins were present.
Month nine is when Seongyeol and Soojung began to mentally communicate, sending pictures to both of their parents, and even managing a few spoken sentences down the lane. Sehun was one happy parent.
Month ten is when Sehun felt his stomach flutter, though it scared him at first until he realized what it was. He was just about to tell Chanyeol the good news when everything shattered. Their cave was raided by wolves, wolves who smelled of that center. The cave became a disaster as they forcefully separated the mates and puppies, Chanyeol being dragged away with Soojung back to the center while Sehun was knocked out and taken away with Seongyeol. He had shifted during the ordeal in order to hold Seongyeol close to him, the puppy latching onto his mother with his jaws.
Sehun dreaded when he could no longer see the trackers taking Chanyeol and Soojung, both groups branching off, and he paled considerably upon realizing they were taking him back to the city; back to Hyunah. "No, please, don't.." Sehun whined, unable to fight them due to a rather large wolf behind him threatening to snap his neck with one bite. They ignored him and Sehun began whispering to Seongyeol, the air around them warping into something menacing. He could feel his son shake in his arms in response.
"Yeollie, baby, I want you to promise me something.. We're going somewhere, okay? It's not a good place, no, and something might happen to me," Sehun nuzzled Seongyeol's muzzle, the puppy whining at his words. "Shh, shh.. Listen to me. You have your appa's scent, right? If something happens to me, I need you to run to your appa as fast as you can. Don't stop for anything; go straight to your appa and noona, okay? Promise me this, Yeollie, please.." Sehun held back the sniffle when Seongyeol his cheek, whispering back a trembling 'I promise.'
Sehun kissed Seongyeol's forehead, the tears from his eyes forcing themselves out and he could only hold his son closer when he whined and them away, the boy telling him, "Don't cry, umma.."

HS_Lu Han: Sehun was ecstatic, excited, thrilled. Actually, no, even those words dwarfed the sheer happiness that bubbled up to the surface and popped, exploding with joyous emotions. They were free, they had a home, everything was going well. They hadn't gotten caught by trackers during their journey and that's what calmed Sehun down the most, their puppies whining against his chest. Sehun figured they were hungry, having been asleep the entire trip, which meant they hadn't eaten yet. Sehun managed to calm them down by whispering and kissing the tops of their heads, lightly petting them afterwards.
He didn't really want to make them wait, but it was the best option for now until they made it to the cave. Sehun sort of took the lead since he knew exactly where the cave was and walked briskly, his body growing weary from everything. He pushed on, though, because Sehun didn't want to disappoint. He wanted to show Chanyeol that he wasn't all that helpless.
Sehun's pride was still bruised from that mountain lion attack in the holehill caves months ago. He'd never admit to it, though.
They made it to the cave after a few miles, and Sehun let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. The cave was, thankfully, empty, though overrun with weeds, flowers and vines like he'd thought. The entrance wasn't wide and immediately fed into a small corridor. At the end of the corridor, however, was a large room. Sehun estimated it to be about half the size of the dorm room back at the center, which meant it was big enough for the four of them. "If cavemen really existed, this was probably a goldmine to them."
Sehun lowered himself down to the stony ground. He pulled various weeds and flowers and laid them down in a pile. Sehun removed the holder for the pups and set it down on top of the patch, opening it and adjusting the whining twins. Sehun huffed before standing up again, groaning slightly from a sudden wave of dizziness. Come on, Hun, Sehun mentally pushed himself to retrieve the bottles he'd prepared earlier from Chanyeol's bag. Sehun checked the bottles, making a face when the milk got in his face, and sat back down.
Sehun carefully picked the puppies up, adjusted them, and finally began to feed them. He yawned a little before looking at Chanyeol, flashing him a tired but sincere smile. "We'll probably have to move after a while, but this should be okay until then, right?" Sehun asked, looking around the cave before looking back down to watch the puppies. They'd stop eating after a while and Sehun put the bottles away with a heavy yawn. He cuddled them to his chest, shifted, and lied down with his head resting atop the opened holder. "I'm going to take a quick nap.. I'll help you hunt or hunt myself in the stream when I wake up.." Sehun managed out, already half asleep mid sentence.
Sehun enjoyed their new lives. He'd finally gotten the rest he needed and his lashes healed enough to the point that they wouldn't pull open upon running. When Chanyeol watched the puppies, Sehun would go out to train himself, bringing back fish or a deer afterwards. There was a time he managed to kill a buck on his own, but he swore to never do it again because pulling it back was a pain in the . The twins grew nicely and rapidly and they outgrew the milk, ready for solid food at this point. Sehun would usually feed them, though Chanyeol volunteered at times.
A few months passed by and Sehun found himself smiling mentally as their puppies ran around the cave playing, barking and toppling over each other. Seongyeol proved himself to be the exact replica of his father, his fur patterning out in a similar way of Chanyeol's, though his fur was lighter due to Sehun's genes. Soojung's fur came out in apricot waves, like Sehun's.
More months flew by and Sehun allowed the puppies to play outside in the clearing in front of the cave, their territory heavily marked by now due to both him and Chanyeol. Predators feared Chanyeol and actually stayed away, not wanting any limbs torn out.

nH_Park Chanyeol {HIATUS}: Chanyeol could feel his calm muscles stiffen as he sling the bag for the hundredth time that day, his hair disheveled and his eyes pitying his mate who carried two puppies all this way as well. He whined gently, insisting that they would be edging the border soon and he gently wrapped his arm around Sehun, kissing the top of his hair affectionately as they moved step by step closer.
"Oh I can smell it..." sniffing the air, the exact location Sehun was referring to his his pallet and a lot of information was given just from that. It seemed rather good, and close enough for them to spend the night, but Chanyeol was edgy about staying permanently that close to the border.
Call him paranoid, but he had a family to protect.
His finger solemnly reached out the pet the puppies as he realised that they were going to be hungry, and then active for the next few hours, and he settled that he'd let Sehun get the rest he needed whilst he kept the younger two out of trouble.
He could keep guard then too, cause tonight was the night yet had to worry about. Tonight would be the night large groups would be actively searching, tonight was the night everyone would notice they were missing, and if they could get through that, and then move another few miles away at least from the border.
They would finally be free. And chanyeol could breathe properly for the first time in months.
He nudged his mate along, along sure he was okay as always as he let his nose need them to the location described, other sensed of plus resources flooding in and he was glad Sehun knew such a great place. It would benefit them greatly for the next few hours, and he smiled.
"Good job Hunnie, its perfect. Maybe you can get some rest finally? Hmm..?" he hummed gently, pulling the other close as he now felt edgy whenever the other was too far away.
