@Prism Kori started going through a list in his mind of people he could casually ask out. That feisty girl from detention, that other guy from detention who was in a few of his classes, hell he could turn it around and use it on Danika. Or Darion. Why not?
@Night Owl "Great! And you know, the sooner the better. The dance will be here before you know it and you don't want her to get snatched up before you have the chance." She smiled excitedly. "I know it's a little bit of putting yourself out there, but really it's not so bad. Confidence is a wonderful attribute." She continued talking away, rambling off subject a bit without even noticing.
@Prism Kori grinned, slightly amused that she'd assumed it was a girl, not that it would be totally inaccurate. But that's about half the population he'd be missing out on there.
"That is perfect," he agreed. "It's a little nerve wracking, but I'll try it." He should really find someone to try that on though, because he wanted to see if it would really work. Anyone really would be fine. Well, almost anyone.
@Night Owl Danika grinned, rubbing her hands together excitedly. This was definitely her cup of tea. "Hold that thought," She said as she dug through her gigantic purse, fishing out a pair of cute framed faux glasses. Putting them on, she cleared . "So, you don't think she acknowledges your existence? Almost everyone faces that bump on the road of love." She cooed dreamily, "but have no fear because there is always a way! Start by noticing her in the halls, maybe smile at her as she passes by and work up to saying hi. That's really a good way to familiarize each other, casual greetings daily. On the dot. And as this escalates, one day, you ignore her. And if she stops you first in the hall you know that at least she considers you an acquaintance. So after you get to that point, since you don't know her well, going all out with a grand gesture will definitely make her go nuts! 'Wow! All this time he was planning on doing this and here I thought he only saw me as the chick he passed by at the bathrooms between periods everyday!'" She clasped her hands and sighed happily. "It's perfect."
@Prism He raised his eyebrows, uneasy about the laptop. But he supposed this was his way of paying her back for the sandwich. So he should probably make it interesting.
"Well," he sighed. "We don't have very many classes together, and we never sit by each other or get paired up for projects or anything," he fabricated. "Actually, I'm not so sure they even know I exist." He leaned back and rubbed the back of his head. "I dunno, what's your advice? I mean, should I just forget about it and not ask them? Or, maybe the opposite. Go all out with a grand gesture so romantic they can't say no?"
@Night Owl She raised arched eyebrows at that. What did he mean by that? Pursing her glossed lips, Danika regarded the boy curiously. "So, Kori, how are /you/ going to ask your crush to the homecoming dance?" She opened her laptop, fingers poised over the keys, ready to type. She have him an encouraging smile, not even sure if he had a crush or anything like that. Which is mainly why she was asking.
@Prism He chuckled a little, meeting her eyes and expressing some sort of nonverbal thanks between them. With his eyes.
"You do the same," he said, not entirely sure what the hell he meant by it. Watch yourself. You know, don't go down any suspicious alleyways by yourself.
@Night Owl Danika laughed, a blonde ponytail swinging from side to side as she did. She reached out and dabbed the corner of his mouth with a napkin. "Watch yourself, sweets." She cooed, nodding in understanding. Rough life. Everyone had it just in different ways.
@Prism He flashed her a little smirk, mustard adorning the corner of his mouth. "I dunno if I would call it romantic, necessarily." He sighed, looking off to the side as if staring at his thoughts. "It's a pretty rough life."
@Night Owl Danika nodded, giving him a look of understanding as if she did understand. Which she didn't. Batting thick coated eyelashes, she reached out and grabbed the pack of crackers on his place. Eyes locked with Kori's, the blonde nibbled on the stale salty thing. "You against the world. That's so romantic." She dreamy-eyed him again, sighing admirably.
@Prism Kori returned to the table with the sandwich, glancing up at Danika as he sat down. "'The Man' is just another name for it, I guess," he said. "Authority, society, government, all the same, and none of them favor me." He punctuated that with a bite of his sandwich, as if emphasizing, this is why I have to swindle people like you into paying for my dinner.
@Night Owl "The system, huh? You sure it isn't 'The Man' mentality." She air quoted the man. She laughed and shook her head, her teeth habitually biting her bottom lip to keep in an incessant giggle as their eyes met. She was also acutely away of the fact that her most hated flaw of the gap of her two front teeth were on display.
@Prism "Well," he muttered. "The system doesn't exactly favor me." He holds vaguely profound eye contact with her, wondering at the same time if she was the type to be secretly dominant because the idea was a turn on. His order being called out breaks the moment, and he gets up to grab it.
@Night Owl She tilted her head, her fingers brushing her hair back yet again. She was giving Kori the dreamy eyes. Had he always been this cute? "Oh I wouldn't call it cattle-driving. School is nice. I like school."
@Prism Flirting his way to a free meal.
"Just enjoying the day, I guess," he answers lamely. "Outside of the societal confines of that cattle-drive prison we call high school." It was supposed to be a light hearted joke, but it probably came off a little more serious than Kori intended.
@Night Owl "Yeah I guess." Danika pursed her lips and nodded. She brushed bangs from her face, frowning at her empty cup. "So, what brings you out on this fine Saturday afternoon?" She questioned, batting eyelashes at him.
@Prism Kori bit his lip and shook his head. "Nah," he said. "It's more trouble than it's worth." Although honestly, he never had a wallet in the first place, but if he did he wouldn't get the cops involved anyway. He hated cops.
Kori took the seat opposite Danika and drummed his fingers on the table.
@Night Owl "No problem, hon." She smiled as she pocketed her change. The blonde took her spot at the table. "Oh yeah of course." Danika closed her laptop and slid it to the side, sipping at her tea. "Bumper about your wallet. I know it seems futile but you should file a police report anyways."
@Prism Kori looked at her with both appreciation and bewilderment.
"Yeah, wow, thanks," he said with a relieved smile. "This is really cool of you." He recognized her, for sure. She was one of the pretty girls who strung guys along for her own entertainment. At least, that was the impression he got. He gestured to the table. "Is it okay if I..?"
@Night Owl Danika glanced up from her startup page, watching the altercation. The person behind the counter was getting irritated. The guy looked both familiar and stressed out. She pursed orange creme glossed lips, racking her mind to place the guy. Her eyes shot open in recognition. The guy Darion had gotten in an altercation with! He was cute enough. She stood up form her spot, wallet in tow, handing over the cashier a bill. "I've got you. It's so easy to get pick pocketed around here it's ridiculous." She looked at him, sending Kori her most dazzling smile. "I'm Danika. I'm pretty sure we had a study hall together last year."
@Prism Kori saw her as she walked in, exactly the kind of person he was waiting for. Young, somewhat pretty, and definitely privileged judging by the computer she hugged to her chest. He walked up to the counter to order, just a few feet away from her. He picked out a sandwich from the case and reached into his jacket to pay, but, "unexpectedly," his wallet wasn't there.
"Oh, no," he lamented. "No no no, I had it earlier, shoot. I must have lost my wallet." He made a display of dragging his fingers through his hair from the stress, glancing sidelong at the girl with the MacBook.
Wind blew through the city, the sun blotted out with dark clouds. The sharkbite hem of Danika's chiffon tank flew around her as the wind picked up. The blonde hugged her MacBook as she slipped into the cafe. The air conditioner was blowing on full blast, making it way too cold in the hole in the wall establishment. There weren't that many people there she noted as she got a steaming cup of tea and say down to do some work.
Power: Weather Manipulation, Immunity to temperature extremes
Origin Story: Valentina’s parents knew for a long time that their daughters were different. They did everything they could to keep their gifts a secret, including moving from their home in Mexico to America so the local cartel wouldn’t find out and try to use their powers to their advantage. Valentina had always been anti everything. Every week there was something she was protesting, whether it was too much homework, or the local dog pound was putting down animals too early. As she got older this sense of justice grew stronger and she and her sister realized they could actually make a difference with their powers. Her sister could control the earth and the plants on it, so she skipped college and went to work in the rainforests. But Valentina stayed, turning her eyes to the corrupt government and corporations polluting her beloved earth. They were going to pay.
Tragic Flaw or Weaknesses: Valentina’s tragic flaw is that she has no idea what she wants from life, and lacks the will to commit to anything. Her powers take concentration, so if that concentration is broken she becomes open to attacks.
Physique: https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6215/6242410917_2ab3d7ce08_z.jpg
Tempestas’ costume is simple: black spandex like material covers her from her chest down, heeled boots that come up mid thigh, and black and grey cape that covers her neck and shoulders. She wears fingerless gloves that cover her arms up to her elbows, and uses a domino mask to conceal her identity.
Superhero Personality, and how they appear in public: The name Tempestas comes from the goddess of storms, and she embodies that persona when she becomes Tempestas. Regal and fierce. She doesn’t engage in petty verbal spats, or any sort of fighting unless necessary.
Could you please add Kuranosuke Koibushi for me?
I know he's not entirely original, but I plan on maiking him a completely new person.
If that's not okay, I understand.

Trivia Info: Finn has a total of 315 tattoos, of which 176 show insects and 139 show bones. After his surgery, he used all his begged money for tattoos. He got his first tattoo at the age of 16, and it showed a Jolly Rogers. ‘Villain Info’
Name: Zombie
Power: Necrokinesis/Death-Force Manipulation, esp. Death Sense & Reanimation
Team: Unalinged – Even though he’s more of a Villain, Finn doesn’t feel like he belongs to a team, and doesn’t want to identify himself with others.
Origin Story: Finn doesn’t know whether he always had these powers, or whether they appeared after the surgery on his brain, but he does know that when waking up, they strangely were there. If he went to a place, he would suddenly have blurry visions of a person being shot there, of a girl being and killed, of horrible deaths the then 16-year-old couldn’t handle. But he had to, because those things would happen more and more often. And then he reanimated a dead dog for the very first time. His newly found powers were undeniable by then. His uncle helped him to cope with all the mess, but it was clear that he viewed the boy differently after that. The time Finn moved was also the time he decided not to use his powers for good anymore. He knew he could solve cold cases, could work for the hospital maybe, but because there were never people helping him, he decided that nobody deserved his help either. Nobody but his uncle. Whenever he would be in trouble, Finn would be right there to help him. Finn is a hard shell to crack.
