@katherine pierce Sebastian laced his fingers together and leaned forward in his chair. He stared at the white tiles of the hospital floor almost as if he was lost in thought. "You need to promise me something," Sebastian started as he raised his eyes to look back at Katherine. "Try not to escape Haverhill until you're officially released, okay?"

Sebastian shook his head as a quiet chuckle escaped his lips. Katherine reminded him of his kid sister that he hadn't seen in years. She seemed so eager to be free of her hospital room for a while. Sebastian knew how it was when you felt like you were trapped in a place with no escape. "Sure, kid. So long as you stick close to me so I can keep my eyes on you," Sebastian stood back to his feet and pulled out his key card.

"It's a storm that may cause damage to this city and to several people that reside here. Which is why all of us here are doing our best to keep all of you comfortable and safe until this all passes," Sebastian explained as he motioned Katherine to follow him into the emergency room so he could tell the head nurse that Katherine would be with him until the storm passed. As Sebastian started to swipe his key card, the lights above his head blew; leaving the pair in the dark.

@castiel Jongdae was totally thrown off kilter at the mention of angels and healing. What was this guy talking about? Of course, he'd feel pain. It wasn't as if the man was some robot or something. But when the man grasps onto his shoulder for support and stares into his eyes as if trying to make Jongdae believe in the his strange murmurings about how it should not hurt... He's almost convinced with how sincere the look in the patient's eyes is. But that's when he also guesses that this patient is probably one of those who had problems that weren't physical, but pyschological. "Wha...what do you mean angels and what healing? You're huma—" Before he even comprehends or finishes his sentence, the other man is talking strangely, referring to the lift as technology and talking about saving people.
"We can't force it open like that," He states in response. However, the man slammed his palms against the door much to Jongdae's alarm and he reaches out to pull the other back, "That won't work too! That door won't give way to you, your hands would be the first one to give way, I swear!"

The man slumps down, murmuring about being uncomfortable in small spaces. Was he claustrophobic, by any chance? Jongdae squats down near the other as his identity is asked about.

"I'm Chen. I'm not a nurse or doctor or anything, just the chef, "He answers, "And, if you get too uncomfortable in this space, just breathe and try to calm down, kay'? You're not alone here, so if you feel any worse, tell me and I'll do what I can." He smiles at the other, trying to comfort him even though he isn't sure if the patient can even see it because it's really dark in here and he has to squint a little sometimes. Jongdae gets back up and moves to the lift button panels.

"Okay... where is it..." He mumbles as he moves closer to look for the button used in emergencies. He presses it, and the bell rings slightly shrilly. He presses it a few more times and presses closer to the door, yelling, "Hello? Is anyone out there? We're stuck and a patient has a wound on his head!" He doesn't get any response but he still yells out for people, pressing the button sometimes. Jongdae mutters a prayer to whatever being up there that the situation does not get worse and everyone in the hospital will be safe.

Deciding to stop all that yelling for now, he goes to sit down beside the man again, examnining his head closely and finds out, much to his dismay, that the blood is still flowing out slowly and steadily. Jongdae places a hand on his shoulder worriedly. "Okay look, the bleeding isn't stopping and I don't want you to start lacking blood. Do you have a cloth of some sort we could wrap around your head?" He asks the other with a calmness that surprises even himself. "And, what's your name?"

@katherine pierce Sebastian stared at her partially dumbfounded. Here he was scolding her for trying to escape and all she wants to know is where he came from? Such an odd girl. Sebastian gently wrapped his larger fingers around Katherine's wrist and escorted her toward the hallway so they could find some sort of shelter before the tornado reached the hospital.

"I was actually watching the news in the lobby. I'm good at playing invisible. It was a necessary skill for me to learn back in the day," Sebastian explained as he watched her carefully while releasing her arm.

"If you want a better look at the storm, you could have watched from a distance, through a window, ya know. It's pretty idiotic to go rushing out into danger like that," Sebastian spoke as he sat in a chair in the hallway; pulling another one next to his. He patted the chair with his hand; motioning for her to sit down.

"You can talk to me until the storm passes. Then I'm going to have to go check on other patients in the hospital. Unless you'd like to help me with that," Sebastian suggested as he stretched out his legs.

@katherine pierce Sebastian Stan stood in front of the television in the lobby of the hospital. The flashing screen showed a news anchor standing in the middle of the raging storm that was occurring outside of the hospital walls. "A tornado watch has been issued for Es County. The tornado has touched down in Hamilton and is now headed East toward Haverhill. Please stay indoors. Find shelter and protect yourself from flying debris from the storm. Do not and I repeat do not go outside for any reason. Move to the lowest floor of your shelter, preferably away from windows. This has been Anna Knightley of NBC news."

Sebastian snorted as he shook his head. "Damn hypocrite. You tell us to stay indoors and here you are playing journalist out in the middle of the storm," Sebastian spoke aloud as he tossed the tv remote onto one of the tables. He turned around just in time to see a patient reaching for the handle of one of the exit doors. "HEY!" Sebastian shouted as he booked it toward the exit; trying to capture the patient's attention. "Do not go outside! Let go of the door handle and step away! A tornado just touched down and is coming towards us. You could get injured or worse, killed, if you go out there," Sebastian scolded as he grabbed her arm to look at the red band strapped around her wrist. He wasn't trying to be rough with her. He was just in an already irritable mood and he did not need someone escaping under his watch.

"Miss Katherine Pierce. Psych ward," Sebastian read before his eyes trailed up to analyze Katherine's face. "Now where do you think you're going? You know you're not allowed out of your room."

@chen Castiel nearly jumped out of his skin when he felt a person's hand touch his shoulder and the soft voice didn't help the situation at all. He could have swore that he was the only one in the elevator when he had ran in. That's what he gets for not paying attention to his surroundings. Castiel would have scolded himself if it weren't for the male staring up at him with widened eyes. Castiel tilted his head slightly as his eyebrows scrunched in confusion. "Why would I feel dizzy?" Castiel inquired, wondering why the short male was worrying about him in the first place.

"Angels heal rapidly so I will be fine in a few minutes," Castiel groaned, reaching up to touch his head once again. He leaned back against the elevator's wall and sighed heavily. He was honestly confused as to why he was feeling pain. He wasn't supposed to feel pain. "I feel like I could sit down for a minute...." Castiel murmured as he grasped onto the man's shoulder for support. "I do not understand....why...I'm feeling pain. Ir's not supposed to hurt," Castiel stared deeply into the other's eyes; trying to get him to understand.

Castiel glanced over his shoulder at the elevator doors and squinted his eyes. "We need to find a way out of this box. People out there need me..I need to save...them..." Castiel was determined to get out of the elevator even if it meant clawing his way out. "I do not know how to use this technology but it seems to be broken," Castiel explained as he turned to look back at the Asian male in front of him. "Do you know how to get the doors open? There must be some way..." Castiel moved his body closer to the doors and started to pry at them with his hands. They wouldn't budge.
Castiel gritted his teeth and slammed the palm of his hand against the metal wall. "Please work!"

Castiel slid down the elevator's wall and pulled his knees up to his chest. "I hate being enclosed in small spaces....It makes me uncomfortable..." Castiel murmured; starting to feel like his courage was slowly draining away along with the blood seeping out of his head. "Who are you anyways?" Castiel asked partly out of curiosity and partly out of boredom. He knew most of the patients on his floor because he had tried to speak to them about his Father and how he was there to help save them. Castiel also knew most of the nurses and doctors. They changed out every other week because most of them couldn't handle Castiel's personality.

@castiel Jongdae had heard about the news really late, or more like, he had been cleaning up the kitchen when he heard the first low rumblings of thunder. He hadn't thought much about it at first but a really bad premonition made his stomach churn. It had taken him awhile to realize that he had started wiping at the same spot for the past few minutes. Okay, something was totally off here. Either that or he was just being a sissy or just out of it. He took off his work apron, stopping his cleaning and went to wash his hands clean at the sink. Then, he went to the fridge and grabbed one of the bottles of water he kept for himself and chugged down some of the cool, refreshing water. With the bottle and the kitchen and cafeteria keys in his hand, he headed out of the kitchen, remembering to lock up before wandering down the hallway.

"Oh wow," He stops in front of a window in the hallway, frowning at the sight behind the glass pane. Seemed like they were in for a really heavy thunderstorm. Just as he leaned closer to the glass panel, someone yelled his name, making him turn around. One of the nurses was gesturing for him to go over to her. "Haven't you heard the news?" The nurse asks him in a hushed, worried whisper, "A tornado warning was issued! There's going to be a really severe thunderstorm. You shouldn't go near the windows."
Jongdae's heart lurches at that, his lips twist into a worried frown. "I had no idea. I was in the kitchen the whole day. What about the patients?"

"We don't want to scare the patients. We're trying to get them all back to their rooms."

Jongdae nods slowly before asking, "Anything I can do to help?"

"Help be on the lookout for any patients that have wandered out and try to get them back to their rooms, I suppose," The nurse tells him, managing a small smile, "Thanks, Chen. I need to go check on some of the patients now. Stay safe!"

Jongdae waves the nurse off before walking through the hallways. So far, this level seemed to have been cleared of patients already and he only saw a few of the hospital staff scurrying around worriedly. They usually greet each other as they passed each other in the halls, but they barely even acknowledged him, hurrying past him while talking to each other in low, worried voices and having expressions on their faces that was anything but bright. It doesn't bother him though because he's more worried about those patients that had a habit to wander around. He knew a bunch of them and always kept it a secret that they sneaked around sometimes.
Jongdae finds himself at the lift area and entering the lift. He knows of a few patients at a certain floor that were rather rebellious and felt the need to go and check on them, just in case. The elevator goes down a level or two until it finally makes a, "Ding!" sound and the doors open. Jongdae glances up and barely notices that this isn't his floor before a figure in their hospital's robes skidded in, startling Jongdae and making him move back against the wall. The man presses one of the buttons and the doors close. He's still glued to the elevator wall for a few moments as the lift makes its descent, when he realizes the other guy hadn't even realized he was in the lift too. Jongdae recovers and leans forward, taking note of the red band, and was about to tap the man on the shoulder to get his attention when the lights flicker off and the elevator screeches to a halt. Jongdae stumbles forward to the ground but he barely even gets affected by it because he sees the patient's head hitting the metal doors. He scrambles up to the man who almost deafens him with a yell for help while banging on the doors.

"Hey, hey!" Jongdae places a hand on his shoulder, examining the other, "Are yo— Oh-oh damn, you're bleeding!" Jongdae's eyes widen with worry, fear tugging at his heart. "Do you feel dizzy or anything?" He asks softly.

[open starter]

Castiel moved toward the window in the hallway and watched as the raindrops splattered against the window. He overheard the nurses speaking to one another in hushed whispers about an approaching storm. They didn't want to startle the patients because the storm could be nothing at all. He furrowed his eyebrows as he pushed closer to the window. The sky was pitch black which made it difficult for Castiel to search for the approaching storm clouds. He was determined to keep the patients in this hospital safe even if it was the last thing he did. He looked up into the night with thoughts of worry floating in his head. 'Father, keep these people safe from harm,' he barely whispered before the sound of thunder jolted him out of his thoughts. Vivid lightning shot down from the sky as another low rumble of thunder followed close behind.

"Jimmy! Get away from that window and go to your room this instant!" a nurse scolded as she tried to shoo the man away from the dangers of the window. Castiel furrowed his eyebrows and tried his best not to sigh. "Jimmy is the name of my vessel....My name is Castiel and I am a-" The nurse cut him off with an irritated sigh, "An angel of the Lord. Blah, blah. I know. Just get to your room before I call one of the orderlies to drag you in there myself!"

Castiel shuffled toward his room and glanced over his shoulder at the last minute. When he realized that there was no one watching him, he took off down the hallway, running as fast as his legs could carry him. He would not stay in his room just to hide like a scared little child. Castiel was determined to serve the people of this world and protect them with his life. He skidded into the elevator and pressed the button for the emergency room. As the doors closed and the elevator made its slow descent to the lower floors, the lights flickered before turning off completely. The elevator made a screeching noise as it came to a rough halt. Castiel lurched forward, banging his head against the metal doors. He slumped to the floor as he gripped his forehead. His hand was met with a warm, sticky liquid. He couldn't see in the pitch black but he knew that his head was bleeding. "I need out of this box," Castiel mumbled softly as he pulled himself to his feet. He started to bang on the doors with all his might. "HELLO?!" Castiel yelled. "SOMEBODY HELP."
